590: Alsace at the end of its rope

The vast Ghost Forest spanned thousands of miles from side to side.

But on this first day of the new era,

all high-ranking officials in the foreign race borders received an incredible message.

All Human Race troops stationed in the Seventh War Zone were orderly withdrawing.

Except for permanent residents, all movable populations had left this War Zone.

Completely abandoning defense!

Why?

There was no reason.

The foreign race high-ranking officials stared at each other, wondering if this was an empty fort strategy?

Never mind, if not now, when?!

But soon, they witnessed a scene they would never forget.

Looking towards the Ghost Forest from the city wall of the foreign race border,

a strange mist suddenly rose from the center of this black forest, and this mist was covering all directions at a speed visible to the naked eye.

The mist obscured everything in the forest; no matter how profound the eye technique or technology used, the scene within the mist could not be seen clearly.

Every strong individual felt a sense of unease upon seeing this strange situation.

After a full day and night, the mist had already covered almost one-third of the Ghost Forest's territory. If nothing unexpected happened, in about two more days, the black mist would completely envelop everything here.

Finally, the foreign race high-ranking officials decided to send a troop to investigate the situation.

But the moment the entire troop stepped into the mist, all communication signals with the outside world were cut off.

Three more hours passed.

No one returned!

This made people even more panicked. Had that troop been completely annihilated just like that?

What on earth happened in the Ghost Forest?

The border leader stationed here was Gu Ye, the Third Ancestor of the Ghost Race.

At this moment, he stood on the towering city wall, staring intently at the continuously spreading mist, his mood growing heavier.

He ordered everyone to stand by and urgently contacted the high-ranking officials of the Galaxy King Alliance, wanting to know what was going on.

But in the end, he only received a foolish answer.

"Do not let anyone step into the mist; it is very dangerous inside!"

Isn't that just nonsense?

Did he not know it was dangerous inside?

But upon closer thought, he became even more panicked.

Perhaps the high-ranking officials of the Galaxy King Alliance knew what was inside, yet still said that, which would mean this mist was even more terrifying than he imagined, and even stronger individuals above them couldn't deal with it?

Ultimately, he also dared not act rashly and chose silence.

The Seventh War Zone, where no Human Race were stationed, was at this moment the most peaceful place in the entire world.

As for Gu Ye not knowing what was inside, it was because the Demon Emperor deliberately didn't say. He hadn't told anyone about everything he had done at that time.

If others knew that Lv Yinien was absorbing four copies of Emperor-level essence, the entire Seventh War Zone would fall into extreme panic.

Perhaps Gu Ye would be the first to lead his people to escape?

That would be the worst-case scenario.

Now, he was thinking about how to make a comeback and reclaim everything for himself.

Currently, the three strongest foreign race individuals were Helden, himself, and Arthas.

Arthas seemed to be the most insane; with the Blood River, he could become infinitely stronger in this chaotic war.

In contrast, Helden didn't seem to have any unlimited abilities; his hard power had been set in stone a hundred years ago, and under the shackles of heaven and earth, he couldn't advance further.

From this perspective, it was only a matter of time before Helden was surpassed by Arthas.

So he decided to seek an Alliance with Helden!

Because his future strength might also surpass Helden's. An ally, after all, is meant to be exploited. If he allied with Arthas, by the time he became overwhelmingly strong, he himself would become a fish on a chopping block.

But on his way to find Helden, Arthas actually found him first.

"Don't tell me you're going to form an Alliance with Helden!" Arthas stared intently at the Demon Emperor.

The Demon Emperor's expression stiffened, and he coldly snorted, "What I do doesn't require an explanation to you, does it?"

Arthas shook his head and said, "No, you should form an Alliance with me!"

"I'll only tell you one thing!"

"The Taiping Divine Sect and the Earth Goddess Alliance are in cahoots!"

"The Priest and Helden are in cahoots!"

"You seeking an Alliance with Helden? It's no different from seeking death!"

"He won't let your Flames of Deathly Silence grow, and you'll be suppressed by him from beginning to end!"

Upon hearing this, the Demon Emperor's expression subtly changed.

He took a deep breath, calmed himself, and then coldly said, "Proof?"

Arthas said fiercely, "Bear Ancestor was taken!"

"After the Priest finished dealing with things on your side, he immediately found where I was hiding Bear Ancestor and took him away!"

"And now, Bear Ancestor has returned to the ancestral land of the Demon Beast Clan, staying with the Earth Goddess Alliance!"

The Demon Emperor frowned and said, "Is the Priest that strong? Can he just snatch people from your hands?"

"No! There's an insider." Arthas's eyes were gloomy, and he said, "There are definitely Helden's people within the Blood Race, and they are deeply hidden. I didn't tell anyone where I took Bear Ancestor."

"Even if the Priest wanted to find him, it would take a long time."

"But the Priest came too quickly, so quickly it was as if he already knew where Bear Ancestor was!"

"Now, we all know the foreign race is finished."

"The Human Race won nine consecutive battles in the Dignity Battle, and the last three crucial battles are enough for the Human Race to gain three more Peak Martial Emperors!"

"Not to mention they also have the Supreme Creator behind them; those even more terrifying guys haven't even exerted their full strength!"

"Therefore, if the foreign race and the Human Race truly go to full-scale war, even if the two Alliances join forces, they are simply no match for the Human Race!"

"If we want to break this deadlock, there is only one way!"

"You and I join forces. You let my Blood River grow infinitely, and I let your Flames of Deathly Silence grow infinitely!"

"We will fight the Human Race with absolute individual combat power!"

"Only then do we have a glimmer of hope!"

After hearing this, the Demon Emperor's brows furrowed, and his heart fell into entanglement and hesitation.

Joining forces with Arthas?

It wasn't impossible, but the problem was...

"How will you make my Flames of Deathly Silence grow?"

Arthas said coldly, "Our two races will join forces to eliminate the Ghost Race!"

"What!?" The Demon Emperor's pupils suddenly constricted, and he said, "What do you want to do!"

Arthas shook his head and said, "This is the only way, a do-or-die situation!"

"At that time, I will absorb blood, and you will absorb Demonic Energy!"

"Not only must the Ghost Race be sacrificed, but the Wild Bone Clan is also ours for the taking!"

"Even our own races, the Blood Race and the Demon Clan, we must sacrifice!"

"Only this way can we possibly survive to the end with extreme individual combat power!"

"Our needs do not conflict. You need Magic Element, I need blood; we can completely join forces."

"Demon Emperor!"

"The battleship from the Ancestral Star is about to land."

"At that time, why would we care about Bluestar?"

"Everything here, we can sacrifice, we can absorb!"

"Except for ourselves!"

"What do you think?"
