3: Chapter 3: Angel Campus (Part 3)

"Hmm, I heard that everyone who enters this Angel Campus is an orphan."

Qian Ye left behind those words and went off on her own, happily searching for "colleagues."

In a sense, she and these NPCs used to be colleagues.

Tai Feng watched her slightly cheerful retreating figure and fell silent.

Their group was living in fear in this game that had suddenly descended upon them, yet she looked completely at ease.

Tai Feng silently noted what she had just said.

How did she know that everyone at Angel Campus was an orphan? They had been together the whole way.

Suddenly remembering that NPC on the school bus, Tai Feng pulled back his thoughts and also began searching for clues.

Tai Feng leaned to the side and saw that the NPC the big shot was cornering was wearing a white lab coat.

A School Doctor?

It wasn't his fault for thinking that; the only people in this school who would wear white coats were likely School Doctors.

Still, wasn't this big shot's taste a bit unique? This was an NPC in a game.

Under Qian Ye's coercion and persuasion, she finally succeeded in finding a boyfriend and was very satisfied with the result.

Turning around, she saw Tai Feng and raised an eyebrow. "When did you get here?"

Tai Feng fell silent.

"As expected of a big shot." Tai Feng sincerely gave Qian Ye a thumbs up.

Qian Ye's face was a giant question mark.

"Hello, big shot. Let me introduce myself, I'm Tai Feng."

"Qian Ye." Qian Ye nodded and also announced her name.

Since the person had politely told her his name, she would naturally return the courtesy.

After speaking, the two stood in silence. Tai Feng scratched his head, unsure of what to say to the big shot.

Qian Ye stopped paying attention to Tai Feng and started rummaging through the information here.

Tai Feng focused his attention on the NPC behind Qian Ye. Why was he being so obedient?

"Identities? There." Qian Ye tilted her head toward a stack of documents nearby.

Tai Feng flipped through them and gave Qian Ye a startled look. These were actually their files, with their information written in detail.

Even the dormitory information was clearly listed.

Tai Feng looked at her with a surprised gaze; he hadn't expected her to find it so easily.

Qian Ye shrugged at this; the information had been snatched from her boyfriend.

After she finished off that group, he just happened to appear at the door. Wasn't that just destiny?

Qian Ye smoothed her skirt and looked at her newly appointed boyfriend. "Baby, you haven't told me your name yet?"

The man glared at her.

Qian Ye pressed the tip of her umbrella against him and raised an eyebrow. "Do you want to become like them too?" She kicked a nearby corpse with her foot.

"Shi Mu," came the voice through gritted teeth.

"So good."

"Baby, I'll come find you to play another day." After saying that, she gracefully opened her umbrella and left.

Tai Feng followed behind with an indescribable expression. A big shot was indeed a big shot.

As soon as Qian Ye left, Shi Mu's face returned to normal. He pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses, looked at Tai Feng, snatched the documents from his hand, and said in a sinister tone, "Student, see you tomorrow."

With that, he strode away.

Just as Tai Feng stepped out of that door and walked outside, he saw that it was already dark.

That's how it was in the game; time was something that changed at will.

"What are you doing? It's so late, why aren't you back in the dormitory!" A sudden voice made Tai Feng look to the side; a person was standing silently beside him.

Dressed in black clothes that almost blended into the night, the person stared at him with fierce, unfriendly eyes.

Hearing those words, Tai Feng's heart sank. The information given was to find the dormitory.

If they hadn't found their information just now, where would they even look for their dormitory at this hour?

Looking up at the pitch-black night, tonight was destined to be a sleepless one.

Under the cover of night, a seven-story white building was hidden within, like an abyss opening its giant maw, enticing its prey to enter deeper.

Qian Ye looked up at the dormitory building in front of her. Approaching, she saw a bulletin board outside:

1. You must return to the dormitory before 8:30.

2. There are no room inspectors at night. If there is knocking, please do not open the door.

3. Visiting other rooms is prohibited.

Although he knew his dormitory building number from the records, it wasn't easy to see the building's number in the darkness now.

Qian Ye naturally discovered this too.

Of the two, Qian Ye was on the sixth floor and Tai Feng was on the fifth. Clearly, the genders were still separated by floors.

The dormitory building wasn't equipped with an elevator. Climbing all the way to the sixth floor, she saw there were no more stairs going up, even though she clearly remembered seeing seven floors from the outside.
