126: Chapter 126 The Three-Way Convergence Point Zombie Zone, The [Roadblock] Team's Motorcycle Frenzy

The dark red highway split and converged at the edge of the horizon—three roads, all covered in gravel and bones, twisted together like they were wrung by a giant hand, merging into a wider path in the scorched wilderness, continuing to extend infinitely toward the horizon stained red by magma light.

And this open area where the three roads converged was currently being submerged by a grey "tide"—hundreds of zombies were crowded onto the road, with even a few mutants mixed in, hissing with twisted limbs, blocking all directions of advance.

The roar of engines suddenly tore through the air, and five beams of light in different colors sped in from the left road, rushing into the zombie horde like arrows shot from a string—these were five extravagantly designed motorcycles.

Each one shimmered with a cold metallic light, loaded with distinct weapons, their wheels crushing gravel and bones, emitting a piercing yet powerful "creak" sound.

This was the [Road Overlord] team, the first to enter the zombie zone.

[Road Overlord] Team: Five Motorcycles, Five Edges.

1. Captain Walker and the [hurricane motorcycle]—Storm Bringer, crowd control core.

The one in the lead was an all-silver motorcycle with lines as smooth as lightning; a spiral metal device was embedded in the front, and a silver conduit extended from each handlebar—this was Walker's Dream Spirit, the [hurricane motorcycle].

Walker himself wore a black leather combat suit with a blue whirlwind emblem on his shoulder armor, his short hair blown back by the wind, his eyes as sharp as an eagle's.

His left hand gripped the handlebar of the [hurricane motorcycle], while his right hand pressed against the spiral device on the front.

His B-grade Talent [Storm Vortex] was quietly activating; pale blue airflow surged from the conduits on both sides of the handlebars, and as his wrist turned, the airflow condensed into a small whirlwind at the front.

"Left dense area, clear it!" Walker's voice was low and powerful, his finger pressing the button on the spiral device—the spiral air cannon on the front of the [hurricane motorcycle] roared instantly.

A two-meter-diameter blue whirlwind sprayed out, like an invisible giant hand, instantly lifting a dozen zombies in front off the ground; the rotating airflow, carrying gravel and bones, tore the zombies' bodies into pieces.

Walker maneuvered the motorcycle flexibly through the zombie horde while using the vehicle-mounted weapons to attack, the wheels of the [hurricane motorcycle] crushing a fallen zombie, and the exhaust pipe behind the bike spewing blue airflow, blowing away zombies attempting a sneak attack.

2. Combatant Phil and the [scorching motorcycle]—Molten Outlaw, firepower suppression.

Following closely behind was a crimson motorcycle; the body was covered with raised metal patterns like solidified magma, and a twin-barreled Gatling gun was mounted on the front, its barrels glowing with a dark red heat—this was Phil's [scorching motorcycle].

Phil wore a red sleeveless combat suit, black bandages wrapped around his arms, and a flamboyant smile on his face, his hands gripping the Gatling gun's handles tightly, his knees bracing against the motorcycle's fuel tank, his body swaying slightly with the bumps.

His B-grade Talent [Rapid Heating] was in effect; the Gatling gun's barrels turned red at a visible speed, and what sprayed from the muzzle was no longer bullets, but scorching molten rounds.

"Taste this!" Phil grinned, pulling the trigger, and dense molten rounds poured into the zombie horde on the right like a red rainstorm.

Each molten round that hit a zombie triggered a small explosion, and the fire spread along the zombies' rotting skin, instantly burning a dozen zombies into charred skeletons.

The body of the [scorching motorcycle] vibrated slightly with the recoil of the Gatling gun, but Phil didn't care; he even intentionally tilted the motorcycle to the left to let the molten rounds cover a wider range: "I can still spray for three minutes before the molten Gatling overheats! Flora, help me block the ones behind!"

3. Healer Flora and the [mech-flower motorcycle]—Mechanical Flower, protective barrier.

In the middle of the team was a pale green motorcycle; silver metal vines were wrapped around both sides of the body, and blue mechanical petals bloomed at the tips of the vines, with a translucent blue glass dome standing behind the seat—this was Flora's [mech-flower motorcycle].

Flora wore a light green long dress with silver gear patterns embroidered on the hem, her long hair braided into two pigtails hanging on both sides of her shoulders, her hands resting gently on the handlebars, fingertips touching the control buttons of the mechanical vines.

Her B-grade Talent [Mechanical Plant] could control the metal vines of the [mech-flower motorcycle], and the blue light protective shield exchanged at the supply station was currently blooming from the mechanical petals—a pale blue light shield, like a huge flower bud, enveloped all five motorcycles.

A zombie attempting to pounce on Phil from the side hit the light shield, and the moment it did, its body was bounced away by an invisible force, falling to the ground and twitching uncontrollably.

"The blue light protective shield can hold for another five minutes! Walker, has your air cannon cooled down?" Flora's voice was soft yet clear.

While controlling the protective shield, she let the mechanical vines extend to the side of Walker's [hurricane motorcycle]; the blue petals at the tips of the vines gently touched the spiral device of the [hurricane motorcycle], and a pale green energy flowed in, accelerating the cooling of the air cannon: "I've topped you up with some mechanical energy; the next whirlwind can be a circle larger!"

4. Scout Si'en and the [giant sound motorcycle]—Sonic Hunter, interference vanguard.

Riding on the left side of the team was a deep purple motorcycle; a black loudspeaker half the height of a person was mounted on the front, its surface covered with tiny sonic sensors, and a small radar screen was embedded on the handlebars—this was Si'en's [giant sound motorcycle].

Si'en wore a deep purple tight combat suit and black headphones, the headphone cable connected to the loudspeaker of the [giant sound motorcycle]; her eyes were fixed on the radar screen, her fingers tapping rapidly on the buttons on the screen.

Her B-grade Talent [Frequency Resonance] could emit specific frequency sound waves through the loudspeaker to interfere with the zombies' actions.

"There are two leaping mutants 30 meters to the front right! Prepare sonic interference!" Si'en's voice reached everyone through the headphones; she pressed the switch on the loudspeaker, and a low-frequency sound wave spread from it—the mutants that were originally preparing to jump suddenly became stiff, their jumping movements frozen in mid-air, and they fell to the ground, stumbling repeatedly.

On the radar screen of the [giant sound motorcycle], red dots represented zombies, and green dots were team members; Si'en marked the dense zombie areas while adjusting the sound wave frequency: "Sonic interference can slow the zombies' movements by 50%. Robert, there's an abandoned truck on the left with five zombies hiding inside!"

5. Mechanic Robert and the [gear motorcycle]—Mechanical Great Master, summoning assistant.

Riding on the right side of the team was a silver-grey motorcycle; the body was covered with gears of various sizes, and a metal toolbox was dragged behind the seat, with three palm-sized silver mechanical humanoids hovering above the toolbox—this was Robert's [gear motorcycle].

Robert wore a silver-grey work uniform, his clothes stained with oil, and wore a pair of black goggles; his left hand gripped the handlebar, and his right hand controlled the hovering mechanical humanoids.

His B-grade Talent [Mechanical Modification] could repair and even strengthen the team's motorcycle equipment, and the mechanical modification assistant exchanged at the supply station was currently playing its role—three silver gear mechanical humanoids moved flexibly through the zombie horde.

Some used mechanical arms to grab zombies and throw them into the abandoned trucks on the roadside; others climbed next to the Gatling gun of the [scorching motorcycle], using small brushes to clean the charred traces on the barrels; another mechanical humanoid was stuck to the protective shield of the [mech-flower motorcycle], repairing the fine cracks caused by zombie impacts.

"Phil, your Gatling gun barrel is about to clog, let the mechanical assistant clean it for you!" Robert's voice was slightly hoarse; while controlling the mechanical humanoids, he made the gears of the [gear motorcycle] mesh with the wheels of the [hurricane motorcycle], helping to increase traction for Walker's motorcycle: "Walker, there's a steep slope ahead. I've added some power for you, no problem charging up!"

Motorcycle Frenzy, Crushing Zombies.

The five motorcycles formed a tight formation within the zombie horde: Walker's [hurricane motorcycle] was responsible for crowd control, Phil's [scorching motorcycle] for firepower suppression, Flora's [mech-flower motorcycle] for protection, Si'en's [giant sound motorcycle] for detection and interference, and Robert's [gear motorcycle] for maintenance support—their coordination was seamless, with every motorcycle playing a unique role, pushing the flexibility and speed advantages of "motorcycle vehicles" to the extreme.

Walker activated [Storm Vortex] again, and the blue whirlwind swept away the mutants in front, opening a passage for the team; Phil's molten Gatling gun fired continuously, burning the zombies on both sides of the passage to ashes; Flora's blue light protective shield kept expanding, blocking sneak attacks from all directions; Si'en's sonic interference made the zombies' movements slower and slower, and the red dots on the radar screen became fewer and fewer; Robert's mechanical assistants were busy repairing equipment, clearing "obstacles," and could even help catch a few stray zombies.

In less than ten minutes, more than half of the zombies at the three-way intersection were cleared, leaving only a few scattered zombies still stumbling toward them.

Walker maneuvered the spiral air cannon of the [hurricane motorcycle], and a small whirlwind rolled the last few zombies into pieces, then he raised his hand to signal the team to stop: "Cleared for now. Flora, check everyone's equipment. Robert, top up the fuel. Si'en, detect the situation on the road ahead."

Phil turned off the molten Gatling gun, jumped off the bike, and patted the fuel tank of the [scorching motorcycle]: "This molten Gatling is really cool, much more powerful than the previous ordinary machine gun!"

Flora's [mech-flower motorcycle] retracted the blue light protective shield, and the mechanical vines began to check the status of the five motorcycles one by one: "Except for Phil's Gatling gun which has some wear, everything else is fine. A little mechanical energy will restore it."

Si'en took off her headphones and pointed at the radar screen: "There are no large zombie hordes within 5 kilometers ahead, but..." She paused, her eyes becoming vigilant, "There are two new energy reactions on the radar, approaching us. They look like vehicles, and they aren't slow."

Walker frowned and looked in the direction from which the energy reactions were coming—one of the directions was the road from which the [dream chaser] was coming.

He gripped the handlebars of the [hurricane motorcycle] tightly, a blue whirlwind condensing slightly at the front: "Be ready for combat at any time. No matter who is coming, don't let your guard down. On this road, besides ourselves, any other team could be an enemy. We are faster; this world is prepared for us [Road Overlord]! Let's go! We must be the first to reach the finish line!"

The five motorcycles started their engines again, and the headlights lit up like five twinkling stars, forming a tight defensive line on the road at the three-way intersection.

At this moment, the figure of the [dream chaser] had already appeared on the distant horizon, slowly approaching this intersection that had just experienced a battle.
