45: Annihilate them!

Outside the clearing battlefield, Sinclair and Marjorie watched the battle between Lister and the others, their expressions showing tension and a hint of worry.

They had heard countless tales of the Orcs' ferocity and brutality since childhood, and seeing it for the first time now truly filled them with fear.

However, as time passed, this sense of fear gradually transformed into feelings of envy and admiration for Lister and the other knights.

Especially when seeing Red displaying his might in the center of the battlefield, the excitement and fervor in their eyes seemed to solidify into something tangible.

"Knight Captain Red is too strong!" Marjorie couldn't help but exclaim.

At this moment, the battle was extremely intense, with various skills flying everywhere; the sounds of trees tearing, stones exploding, and the ground shaking rang out continuously.

The originally cold air had become hot and thick, and the feeling of sweat soaking their clothes, stifled within their armor, made everyone feel somewhat uncomfortable.

But as their focus shifted to the battle, this feeling soon vanished into thin air.

Compared to the ease with which Red fought on his side, the battle for Lister and his group of four was much more difficult.

Although the Black Dog Orcs were not infinitely strong, they were still quite powerful compared to humans, and every one of their attacks left Lister and the others with numb hands.

Furthermore, due to their speed and physical agility, the four of them had to be constantly wary of their movements and techniques.

As it was their first time battling them, Lister and the four of them lacked the corresponding experience, so they primarily focused on defensive counterattacks.

Although this fighting style didn't gain them any advantage for the time being, it also made the three Black Dog Orcs very uncomfortable.

On the other side, Sano and the other four Black Dog Orcs also understood that to escape unscathed, they had to eliminate the five knights before them.

Therefore, their attacks became increasingly ferocious and sharp, even disregarding the minor injuries they might sustain.

However, both sides were very clear that the key to this battle did not lie with Lister and his group, but with Red and Sano.

Yet, facing the Silver Knight Red, even Sano, who had outstanding clan talent and strength, could not gain an advantage with only High-Rank Bronze strength.

But Orcs were different from other races; their strength lay in their resilience during battle, as well as their ruthless brutality in life-and-death struggles.

At this moment, Sano was incredibly enraged; one clan brother had already died, and now it faced such stifling, suppressive attacks.

How could it, having prided itself on its exceptional talent, continue to endure this?

Therefore, it began to gradually discard the idea of avoiding injury, instead adopting suicidal attack tactics.

"Roar!"

Accompanied by a roar of rage, Sano's aura climbed to its peak, its blood boiling like boiling water.

The giant axe in its hand danced wildly towards Red, and every sweep was accompanied by the rumbling sound of air exploding.

"Just a cornered beast's struggle." Red maintained a calm expression, parrying precisely with his sword while shifting his footing, retreating and advancing, and seizing the opportunity to counterattack.

He had fought Orcs many times before; while he couldn't claim to be one hundred percent familiar with them, he knew them very well.

Any Orc that entered this frenzied state of battle indicated that it felt it was at a significant disadvantage.

Although the power, speed, and resilience of its attacks would increase, its combat awareness would decline.

A brute who loses the ability to think during a life-and-death struggle is very dangerous, but also full of openings.

Just as the giant axe in Sano's hand was knocked back and its body stumbled backward.

Red's eyes sharpened, and his longsword, coated with Dou Qi Energy, swept horizontally forward in an instant.

Rrrrip!

Accompanied by a sound like tearing thin paper, the thick muscles on Sano's chest split open instantly, exposing a flesh wound over ten centimeters long to the air, and green blood sprayed out violently.

"Roar!"

With a painful roar, Sano instinctively swung its axe in a horizontal strike.

But Red simply twisted his body, dodging past the axe blade, and simultaneously thrust his longsword fiercely into Sano's chest.

The survival instinct triggered by the life-and-death crisis caused Sano's massive body to retreat frantically.

But the longsword was too fast and still pierced its chest; with a squelch, the already torn flesh erupted with a large amount of green blood once again.

At the same time, its massive body was knocked back repeatedly by the immense impact force carried by the sword, and the pain of the Dou Qi Energy invading its chest flesh made it involuntarily raise a hand to cover it.

Seeing this, Red remained as calm as water; he had long anticipated that this thrust would not kill Sano outright, but the effect achieved was sufficient.

Taking advantage of the moment Sano's body was paralyzed and stiffened by the intense pain, Red's aura surged violently.

Accompanied by a soft shout, the longsword in his hand was instantly enveloped by scorching fire elemental energy, as magnificent as a blade of flame.

The next moment, he swung his arm down heavily, and a terrifying half-moon energy slash, fusing Dou Qi with fire element, shot out with a swish.

In Sano's pupils, the energy slash, like the Grim Reaper claiming a life, went from far to near, from small to large, appearing before it in the blink of an eye.

Without any reaction, it just watched the slash disappear from the center of its vision.

Sshh!

The sound of flesh splitting open rang out sharply, and the fire elemental energy burned the flesh frantically.

Accompanied by a sizzling sound, Sano's massive body split in two from the middle, exactly the same way its clan brother had died before.

On the other side, the three Black Dog Orcs who saw this scene in their peripheral vision were furious enough to burst their eyes.

At this moment, Dewey and the other knight Soldiers, who had been ordered by Lister to surround them, also appeared in everyone's field of vision.

They had clearly captured Red's strike just now, and the fervor in their eyes was almost tangible.

"Sano!!!"

Hearing a painful wail, the three Black Dog Orcs, including Saku, became as crazy as demons, no longer caring about minor injuries, attacking without any defense.

But madness did not mean becoming stronger, and a large number of openings were instantly exposed to the eyes of Lister and the four.

Through the battle just now, they had become familiar with the feeling of fighting Orcs and had long been waiting for this opportunity.

Looking at the Black Dog Orc Saku before him, who was also Bronze Tier 3 but had lost its reason, Lister's eyes sharpened, and his longsword swept across like the wind.

"Cunning human, I will kill you." Saku, its pupils bloodshot, roared, ignoring Lister's attack, and similarly swung its giant axe to hack at Lister.

But it only hacked halfway when it was knocked back by Spartacus, who swung his sword from the side.

Saku could only watch helplessly as the longsword sliced across its body; with a squelch, blood sprayed out.

Then, another cold flash passed, its vision began to spin, and finally, it stared fixedly at its still-standing body.

The next second, the sound of two sharp swords tearing through flesh rang out; Lock and Carlyle had also respectively slain the Black Dog Orcs they were fighting.

Looking at the five fallen Black Dog Orcs, the air fell into silence for a moment, and a moment later, the people around who had reacted immediately cheered.

"We won, we slew the Orcs!"

"Long live the Lord!"
