111: Chapter 111 John is enraged! He comes to cause trouble.

John slammed the desk, his roar thunderous.

His office was in complete disarray; the solid wood desk was crooked on the floor, paper documents were scattered everywhere, and the crystal ornaments and metal pen holders from the desk had all been smashed into fragments. The air was thick with an atmosphere of violence.

John's chest heaved violently, his face a terrifying shade of livid. He stared at the Microsoft holding data that Lin Chen had firmly locked onto on the screen, his eyes so dark and sinister they could almost drip water. He had rampaged through the capital markets for years; it was always him seizing things from others, never the other way around. He had never been intercepted like this, and to make matters worse, he had fallen at the hands of an unremarkable Lin Chen and a woman fired from an investment bank. He simply could not swallow this insult.

"Where is everyone! Get in here, all of you!" John roared at the top of his lungs.

The door was gently pushed open, and his henchman walked in quickly with his head bowed, not daring to even breathe loudly. "Mr. John, you have orders?"

John raised his hand and pointed outside, his face twisted in a ferocious expression as he spoke viciously, "Go, take enough men, go to Lin Chen's temporary office, and smash his setup! I want to make it impossible for him to trade, and I want him to spit out every single Microsoft chip he has eaten!"

The henchman paused, cautiously confirming, "Sir, just disrupt the office work? Should we…"

"There is no need to kill anyone, but he must be given a harsh lesson!" John gritted his teeth. "I want him to know what the consequences are for snatching things from me, John!"

"Yes, I will arrange it immediately!" The henchman dared not say more and turned to walk out.

John watched his back and kicked the files on the floor again, his short-tempered and narrow-minded nature fully exposed. He no longer wanted to compete in capital or trading; he only wanted to use the most direct means to destroy everything Lin Chen had.

The henchman walked out of the office and immediately gathered men downstairs.

Five or six burly men with fierce expressions quickly gathered. They were all thick-set and broad-waisted, clearly thugs who had spent years doing rough work and causing trouble. This was a setup prepared in advance; John was dead set on picking a fight this time.

"Follow me," the henchman said in a low, cold voice. "The target is a temporary office. No need to hurt anyone, but you must disrupt the place—smash the computers, scatter the files, and make it impossible for them to work. Do you understand?"

"Understood!" the burly men replied in unison, their voices hoarse.

The henchman waved his hand, and the group lowered their bodies, avoiding the main road as they snuck straight toward Lin Chen's temporary office.

Meanwhile, inside Lin Chen's temporary office, the atmosphere remained tense and orderly.

The computer screens were constantly lit up, with data scrolling and K-lines jumping. The sound of keyboards clacking rose and fell as everyone focused on their work, completely unaware that danger was approaching.

Ella sat at the main trading seat, her back straight, focused and professional, with not a trace of panic on her face. Her fingers operated rapidly on the keyboard, step by step consolidating the Microsoft holdings, completely locking down the chips she had snatched earlier so that even if the John Family wanted to pry them loose, they would have no way to do so.

She turned her head to look at Lin Chen, her tone steady and determined, "Brother Chen, the holdings are almost stabilized. All chips have completed lock-in registration; even if John is unwilling, he won't be able to snatch them away."

Lin Chen leaned back in his chair, his expression calm and composed, nodding gently, "Well done. Proceed according to the original plan; no need to be distracted."

"Rest assured, I have it under control." Ella replied, immediately turning back to the screen with focused eyes, completely undisturbed by the outside world, her professional standards fully on display.

Chen Xi sat to one side, a thick stack of compliance documents in front of her. Her pen tip moved continuously, meticulously checking every transaction and every agreement, not daring to relax for a moment. She knew very well that since the John Family had suffered a loss, they would likely try to make an issue out of compliance, so all loopholes had to be plugged in advance.

"General Manager Lin, all compliance documents have been reviewed. There are no issues. Even if someone intentionally looks for trouble, they won't be able to find any fault." Chen Xi looked up and reported softly.

Lin Chen nodded slightly, "Keep watching. Thank you for your hard work."

Li Wei moved a chair to guard the front door of the office, loyal and vigilant, watching in all directions and listening to all sides, constantly monitoring the movement on the street. He knew the John Family would not let this go, so he had already raised his vigilance to the maximum.

He turned his head to look at Lin Chen and patted his chest in assurance, "Brother Chen, if there is any movement, I will report it immediately. I will absolutely not let any idlers approach the office!"

Lin Chen smiled, "Be careful. No need to use force; just notify us in time."

"Understood!" Li Wei grinned, his gaze sweeping across the street again, his eyes sharp.

Inside the office, Ella steadily consolidated the holdings, Chen Xi meticulously checked the compliance documents, Li Wei guarded the door, keeping a vigilant watch, and Lin Chen sat in the back, controlling the overall situation. Everything was proceeding in an orderly manner.

No one knew that John's henchman had already brought his men, avoiding the line of sight from the front door, and had quietly circled to the back of the building.

In the alley behind the office's back door, the henchman raised his hand to signal everyone to stop. Five or six burly men hunched over and crept toward the tightly closed iron door.

The burly men reached the back door of the office.
