Li Wei stepped forward and tackled the person tailing them, locking his arm tightly around the person's neck and driving his knee into their lower back with such force that the person's face turned red instantly, leaving them no room to struggle.

The two brothers following behind immediately stepped forward. Each grabbed an arm, pinned it behind the person's back with crisp efficiency, and pulled out their carry-along restraints, tying them up securely in a flash.

The two tailers were trembling all over. The backyard was dark and damp, with weeds growing up to their ankles. In the corner, old cardboard boxes and discarded wooden planks were piled up, and the ground was covered in mud. The night wind whistled over the wall, swirling a few dead leaves around. In the distance, the intermittent barking of a dog sounded exceptionally harsh in the silent night.

Li Wei threw the men onto the ground with a dull thud. He took a step forward, his figure looming over them, radiating a heavy sense of oppression.

"Who sent you here, and what are you here for? Tell me everything clearly." Li Wei's voice was low and ferocious, devoid of any warmth. Every word seemed to strike at the hearts of the two men.

The tall, thin tailer's lips turned pale with fear. He looked up at Li Wei, his eyes filled with terror, and stuttered: "It—it was Boss David who sent us... We were just here to keep watch, we didn't do anything else."

"Keeping watch?" Li Wei sneered and gave the man's leg a light kick. "Just keeping watch? Did David tell you to steal things and destroy evidence?"

This question hit the nail on the head. The tall, thin man's body stiffened, his face instantly turning deathly pale, and he dared not look up to meet Li Wei's gaze.

Seeing this, Li Wei's tone grew harsher as he leaned down to stare at him: "Don't play games with me. I can see through your little tricks at a glance. I'll ask one last time: what exactly did David order you to do, and when is he coming himself?"

After saying this, Li Wei clenched his fist, his knuckles cracking loudly, the ferocity in his eyes undisguised.

Boss David told us to keep an eye on Miss Chen's residence and wait for him to bring people over to seize the evidence!"

Li Wei's eyes narrowed: "When is he coming? How many people is he bringing?"

The tall, thin man dared not hold back any longer, his voice shaking uncontrollably: "Th—three in the morning... The boss said he would personally bring over a dozen people to break in, destroy all the evidence, and also... also teach Miss Chen a lesson."

This news made Li Wei's brows knit together instantly. David was truly insane; he was actually planning a raid with over a dozen people at three in the morning. This was no longer a simple act of revenge; it was a clear declaration of a fight to the death.

"Are there any other arrangements? Did he say which route to take or where to enter the compound from?" Li Wei continued to press.

"N—no, nothing else. The boss only mentioned the time and the number of people, and told us to keep a good watch here and wait for his signal." The tall, thin man shook his head hurriedly, fearing a beating if he were a second too slow.

Confirming that the two were not holding anything back, Li Wei straightened up, took out his phone, walked to the side, and immediately dialed Lin Chen's number, his tone urgent: "Brother Lin, I've interrogated them. The people were sent by David. He plans to personally lead over a dozen people to raid Miss Chen's residence at three in the morning. The goal is to seize the evidence and destroy everything."

"No need for a direct confrontation; I'll mobilize people." Lin Chen said decisively. "I'll contact Sophia now and have her bring people over to provide support immediately. You stay where you are, keep a close watch on these two informants, and monitor the entrance to the compound. Let me know the moment there is any movement."

"Understood!" Li Wei replied. He hung up the phone, turned back to look at the two tailers bound on the ground, his eyes cold and sharp: "Watch them closely. Don't let them escape, and don't let them contact anyone outside."

"Yes, Brother Li!"

On the other side, Lin Chen didn't delay at all and directly dialed Sophia's number. The phone rang twice before it was answered, and Sophia's crisp and efficient voice came through.

"Lin Chen? Calling so late, what's up?"

"Relax, don't you trust me to get things done? Hanging up, leaving now!" After saying this, Sophia hung up directly.

She put down her phone and turned to look at the few men in black standing in the living room. These were capable men trained by the family, swift in action and reliable in their work.

The cars sped along the road, soon driving into the narrow alley leading to the residential compound. This alley was a shortcut; it didn't usually have much traffic, and it was just the right way to get there quickly.

But just as the sedans turned into the entrance of the alley, several vans suddenly rushed out from the front, blocking the middle of the road and cutting off all paths. From both sides of the alley, over a dozen dark figures wielding clubs also suddenly sprang out.

Sophia had set out with her men, but the moment they turned into the narrow alley, they were ambushed.
