31: Chapter 31 I want to change jobs

"Why are you following me?"

"Sir, are you the boss here?" the woman asked with a look of pleasant surprise.

"What does that have to do with you?"

"It has everything to do with me! I want to change jobs... Boss, I'm an Interstellar Tour Guide. I'm good at leading teams, management, giving introductions... What do you think?"

An Interstellar Tour Guide?

Gao Yuan felt that for his place... he really did seem to need someone like that. Someone articulate, well-informed, beautiful, and capable of handling all sorts of people...

Only then did Gao Yuan take a closer look at the woman...

She had a round face and eyes that weren't particularly large but seemed full of spirit. Her hair was tied back, and when she smiled, two dimples appeared. She was very tall—looking at her height, she was about on par with him... Standing a bit close to her actually gave him a sense of pressure!

"What's your name?"

"Wang Yifei Bingbing!"

It was a five-character name; like Huangfu Shan, she wasn't from the bottom tier!

The true bottom tier had seven or eight-character names. Generally speaking, the middle class had four or five-character names. Those with six-character names could make it into the middle class if they worked hard, or they could fall into decadence and live like pigs...

"Why do you want to change jobs?"

Gao Yuan asked...

"Finding a job is about finding the right boss, and you're different from the others!"

"Why?"

"You're wealthier, yet more down-to-earth... We can't even see other top-tier people! But you're actually taking a stroll on the streets..."

Wang Yifei Bingbing said.

"You're mistaken. I'm not a top-tier person. My name is Gao Yuanyuan Gao, and I'm about the same as you..."

Wang Yifei Bingbing gave a knowing smile. "Boss, your temperament is different. Look at your clothes, and how you casually threw away half a cigarette only to give me a whole one... I noticed that even your underwear is made of cotton! This proves you are absolutely at the top of the top tier... You also have a natural scent on you, which means there are many plants in the place where you frequently live..."

Gao Yuan was amused...

This girl was quite observant...

He looked at Wang Yifei Bingbing with interest. "Even if that's the case, do you think I'll hire you?"

"You will. Although I don't know what this place does, my intuition tells me it's not simple! And I've seen that it's all robots here, except for one young girl and an older woman... If you want to do business, Boss Gao, I'm more suitable than they are..."

"Do you think you're more useful than a robot?"

Gao Yuan asked.

"No, but when facing high-end clients, using robots is a profanity. So, Boss, you will definitely need to hire a group of people, especially a manager who has management experience and is observant..."

As Wang Yifei Bingbing spoke, she puffed out her chest to make herself look more upright!

Gao Yuan sized Wang Yifei Bingbing up...

He watched her for a long time, until her heart began to race with nervousness!

Gao Yuan suddenly smiled. "Congratulations... I can give you a chance. Come here tomorrow morning at nine o'clock. I'll give you a task. If you complete it, you will become the Deputy General Manager of the 2024 Club..."

Gao Yuan planned to equip the 2024 Club with a General Manager, a Deputy General Manager, a Lobby Manager, and then a manager for every scene on every floor...

There was also HR, Logistics... and so on. In fact, he needed quite a lot of people!

Gao Yuan planned to let Huangfu Shan be the General Manager. As for Lin Nanwu... she could just be a waitress!

The other positions were vacant. Relying on Huangfu Shan alone was indeed a bit tight. With Wang Yifei Bingbing joining, the opening day of the 2024 Club could probably be moved up significantly!

Gao Yuan didn't go in to see Huangfu Shan... he walked straight through the warehouse and into his office...

After this office was built, the Space-Time Gate had moved to his office!

Gao Yuan walked straight through...

And arrived in the real world...

Lying on his bed, Gao Yuan's mind was very excited. A large part of it was due to the thrill of turning into an eagle and soaring through the sky today; once he had enjoyed it once, he could never forget it...

As soon as Gao Yuan closed his eyes, the sights he had seen from high above surfaced in his mind...

It was as if the sound of the wind was still in his ears as a city flashed by in his vision... Gao Yuan even wanted to turn into an eagle and travel the world!

A small part of his excitement was thinking about his businesses—the 2024 Club and the Muza Base.

Now that the company was registered...

He was just waiting for the products to go online...

There were five wholly-owned subsidiaries under the Black Fish Technology Group, but for the moment, not a single one had truly achieved mass production.

Gao Yuan now had the technology and the production lines; all he lacked was a production base...

Building the Black Fish Technology Industrial Park in Muza...

The production bases for each subsidiary would all be within the industrial park!

Therefore, the construction of the Muza industrial park was the top priority of his recent work...

...

Early the next morning, Gao Yuan was woken up by noise from the front yard. Throwing on some clothes, he went out to the front yard and saw that Bai Moyu had arrived...

She was talking to Lin Mei...

Seeing Gao Yuan come out, she immediately greeted him: "Gao Yuan! Morning..."

"Little Fish, why are you here so early?"

"I had no choice. My superiors are pushing me, saying I should communicate the details with you first. The leadership has already submitted the report for the Jinghai Muzha Development Zone. It's being discussed in the Standing Committee this morning, and this afternoon, county leaders are coming to Muza for an inspection..."

"Really? That's quite fast..."

Bai Moyu gave a wry smile. "Exactly. I've never seen our director so enthusiastic... they're probably afraid you'll run away!"

Gao Yuan laughed involuntarily. "Why would I run..."

"So I'm giving you a heads-up. Our director's intention is to conduct the inspection first. Then the preliminary work can start being prepared. Once the official approval comes down from above, construction can begin... Right now, my entire job is to follow up on this! If you need anything, you can tell me anytime!"

Gao Yuan was indeed anxious about this matter...

However, things in the real world really couldn't be rushed...

Thinking of the club in the Future World, Gao Yuan asked Lin Mei, "Xiao Mei, do you know any top-tier landscape design agencies or designers?"

Lin Mei thought for a moment. "The best in the Great Xia for landscaping is definitely Jiangxin Architectural Landscape Design Company. One of my former roommates majored in landscape design and always wanted to intern at Jiangxin..."

Understanding this, Gao Yuan began searching for Jiangxin...

After finding their contact information, he instructed Lin Mei, "Xiao Mei, contact Jiangxin for me immediately. I want ten landscape scenes designed—indoor imitations of natural landscapes, each with a different theme... price is no object!"

"Huh? Okay..."

After making the arrangements, Gao Yuan checked the time. It was 8:30 AM. Last night, he had made an appointment to go to the Future World at 9:00 AM to give Wang Yifei Bingbing her task.

So, Gao Yuan prepared to go to the county town to buy some flowers...

Seeing Gao Yuan about to head out, Bai Moyu didn't know what to do and chased after him. "Gao Yuan, where are you going?"

"Buying some greenery. Want to come along? We can grab breakfast... you haven't eaten, right?"

"I've eaten... It's fine, you go eat, I'll help you buy them... Any requirements?"

Gao Yuan was buying greenery to take to the Future World, of course, to bring a 'great deity' into his club to hold the fort...

So... they had to be exquisite, small, and not too many!
