203: Chapter 202 Mu Ping'er with Ulterior Motives

Barely an hour had passed since Xia Jin easily defeated Yin Qianji.

Inside Yin Qianji's palace.

Mu Pinger stood in the center of the main hall, her expression ugly to the extreme as she looked at the burly figure slumped in a chair before her, drooling and giggling foolishly.

"Hehe... hehehe... fly... fly fly..."

Ying Qianji's eyes were vacant, and his hands waved wildly in the air as if trying to catch something that wasn't there.

Mu Pinger bit her lip, her fingers digging deep into her palms.

He lost.

Her master had actually lost so completely.

And he had turned into an idiot!

She took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down.

Yin Qianji turning out like this was equivalent to being a cripple. According to the Temple's rules, by the next assessment, he would lose his eligibility and be unable to remain in the Second Heaven.

And as his follower... if no new Heaven-Class Disciple appeared within the next assessment period, she would likely lose her eligibility to stay in the Second Heaven as well.

"No, I can't just accept this fate! Whether it's the cultivation resources or the environment, this Second Heaven is far beyond what the First Heaven can compare to..." Mu Pinger's eyes flickered uncertainly.

Her mind worked rapidly, and within a few breaths, she had made a decision.

Yin Qianji was finished, but she couldn't go down with him.

That Xia Jin... to be able to easily defeat the fourth-ranked Yin Qianji, his strength was definitely unfathomable.

Even the third-ranked Fan Wujiu might not be able to achieve that. In other words, that newcomer had at least the potential to break into the top three, or even higher!

If she could latch onto such a powerful figure...

A sharp glint flashed in Mu Pinger's eyes.

She looked down at her own figure, her face full of confidence.

In terms of looks, in the entire Second Heaven, aside from that ice-cold Xing Ruoliu, Mu Pinger believed she was second to none.

And as for the means to charm men...

Even if Xing Ruoliu came, she would have to admit defeat before her.

"If I can get on this ship, I might even have a chance to dream of the sights of the Third Heaven in the future. Besides, I heard that Xia Jin's appearance is exceptionally handsome!" A faint blush appeared on Mu Pinger's cheeks. Without further hesitation, she turned and walked toward her quarters.

She needed to prepare thoroughly.

Half an hour later.

Mu Pinger stood before a bronze mirror, carefully examining herself.

The woman in the mirror wore a sheer pink dress that faintly revealed her curvaceous figure. She was already extremely beautiful, and now, after careful grooming, she had added a few more layers of seductive charm.

She then put on a plain white outer robe, completely concealing the spring scenery within.

Playing hard to get, revealing just enough to tease—that was the most sophisticated way to seduce.

Mu Pinger nodded in satisfaction, picked up the Storage Pouch she had already prepared—filled with all the treasures she had scavenged from Yin Qianji's vault—and turned to leave.

...

Outside Xia Jin's palace.

Yin Shixuan was standing guard outside the hall when he suddenly saw a figure slowly approaching from the distance.

It's her?

Yin Shixuan's brow couldn't help but furrow slightly.

"It's you, Mu Pinger? What are you doing here?"

Mu Pinger gave a shallow smile, one that was somewhat seductive and moving: "Brother Yin, don't be so hostile. I've come here naturally because I have important business with your master."

"Important business!?" Yin Shixuan gave her a cold look but said nothing more. He didn't block her, merely stepping aside and pointing into the hall: "The Master is inside."

Mu Pinger smiled slightly and, swaying her slender waist, walked past him into the main hall.

Yin Shixuan watched her figure disappear into the hall doors, his brow furrowing even tighter.

This woman...

She couldn't be trying to use her beauty to seduce the Master, could she?

He thought about it and shook his head.

Forget it, the Master's affairs were not for him to worry about.

...

Inside the main hall.

Xia Jin sat at the head of the room, holding a bamboo scroll in his hand, reading information about his next opponent, the third-ranked Heaven-Class Disciple, Fan Wujiu.

He was engrossed in his reading when his brow suddenly furrowed.

He looked up toward the hall entrance.

A figure was slowly walking in.

It was an extremely beautiful woman. Wrapped in a plain white outer robe, her inner attire was hidden, but her exquisite face alone was enough to make one's eyes light up.

Xia Jin raised an eyebrow.

He didn't know this woman.

The woman walked to the center of the hall, glanced at Xia Jin, and performed a graceful bow, offering a greeting in a soft, delicate voice: "Mu Pinger greets the Master."

As she spoke, she looked up, her beautiful eyes fixed on Xia Jin, a hint of seduction in her flowing gaze.

Xia Jin put down the bamboo scroll, carefully sized up Mu Pinger, and then asked indifferently: "What business do you have with this Prince?"

Mu Pinger bit her lip gently, looking quite pitiful: "Master, I... was once a follower of Yin Qianji."

"But the Master defeated Yin Qianji, and he has become an idiot. He certainly won't be able to stay in the Second Heaven in the future. As for me... I will have no one to follow."

"Therefore, I have gathered all of Yin Qianji's treasures to offer them to the Master. I only hope... that the Master will allow Pinger to follow by your side in the future."

Xia Jin's expression had been indifferent, and he hadn't cared much for her words.

But at the mention of "treasures," his eyes instantly lit up.

"Very well." Xia Jin unconsciously sat up straighter, a bit more of a smile appearing on his face. "I don't mind having another follower. Where are the treasures?"

He agreed!! A flash of successful scheming crossed Mu Pinger's eyes.

This was the sentence she had been waiting for.

She slowly stood up, her fingers gently undoing the tie of her outer robe. As the plain white robe slid down, it revealed the sheer pink dress underneath.

Beneath the pink dress, her full figure was faintly visible, and her snow-white skin seemed to drift in and out of view behind the gauze.

With a perfectly measured look of shyness on her face, Mu Pinger took the Storage Pouch from her waist and took lotus steps, walking forward bit by bit.

Just as she was about to hand the Storage Pouch to Xia Jin,

"Oh my!"

Her foot stumbled, she let out a cry of surprise, and she fell directly forward!

Unerringly, she fell right into Xia Jin's embrace!

A fragrant, soft beauty, a lap full of spring.

Mu Pinger lay in Xia Jin's arms, looking up with watery eyes and slightly parted cherry lips: "Master, forgive me... Pinger didn't do it on purpose..."

As she spoke, she didn't get up immediately, but instead leaned softly into Xia Jin's chest as if she had no strength left.

However, what she saw was a pair of ice-cold eyes.

Xia Jin's gaze was as cold as ten-thousand-year-old ice, without a ripple of emotion, much less any sign of being seduced.

That look was as if he were looking at an ant that didn't know its place.

Mu Pinger's heart skipped a beat, and she hurriedly struggled to stand up, bowing her head in a display of fear and trepidation: "Master, forgive me! I truly didn't mean to offend the Master! It was... it was just an accident..."

She held the Storage Pouch in both hands, offering it respectfully to Xia Jin, no longer daring to make any improper moves.
