Chapter 494: A Huge Crisis
Zheng Qian let out a long sigh.
He collapsed almost limply against the door; it had been truly too dangerous just now.
A single misstep, and Wei Rusi would have lost her life.
But the situation now seemed even worse, as it appeared those people had already searched everywhere that needed searching.
If His Highness the Prince really met with an accident...
Then it could only be because someone was hiding here!
Zheng Qian tremblingly lit a cigarette. It wasn't out of cowardice; anyone would be like this in such a situation.
He didn't know how the eldest prince had found such a terrifying assassin; he had witnessed Rahman's strength with his own eyes.
Even the captain of the guard, who was stronger than him, had been assassinated. How terrifying must this youth be?
The official residence was on high alert right now; it seemed like the perfect time to strike.
If Rahman died, he would immediately be treated as a suspect, or at the very least, be considered associated with the killer.
Today, he had enjoyed many privileges in this country, but that was because Rahman was backing him, providing the umbrella of royal guest protection.
If Rahman died, he would most likely end up in prison.
Even many of his plans would go down the drain, to the point where even the bank headquarters he had just applied for today would be investigated and confiscated!
All his hard work would be destroyed in an instant, and he wouldn't even be able to stay in this country.
In just an instant, Zheng Qian felt his scalp tingle.
All plans would need to be re-planned.
Zheng Qian returned to the room, looking at him vigilantly.
He quickly pulled Wei Rusi behind him. It seemed the youth had no murderous intent toward them, as he did not stop Zheng Qian's actions.
Just as Zheng Qian was about to say something, the youth's gaze suddenly sharpened, and he pointed at the phone Zheng Qian was clutching.
The latter handed it over; the youth checked it briefly and tossed it back casually.
"There is no problem with this phone. It doesn't contain eavesdropping functions or anything; it's just an ordinary mobile phone. It seems he really cares about you. However, I advise you not to call him, otherwise, you might die a miserable death."
The youth's words were very indifferent. This feeling was as if he held the power of life and death over everyone.
Zheng Qian took a deep breath. "So, are you going to kill Rahman now?"
The youth nodded slightly, standing on the side of the window against the wall, narrowing his eyes as he watched the patrol team members outside.
"Then why did you kill the other innocent guard members?"
"Because they were doing bad things to a girl. I couldn't stand it, so I killed them."
The youth answered very flatly.
Zheng Qian inexplicably let out a sigh of relief. Fortunately, he didn't seem like a perverted lunatic who killed innocent people indiscriminately.
He took out a cigarette and handed it over. The youth gave Zheng Qian a cold glance and continued to fix his gaze outside the window.
"What should we do?"
Wei Rusi was a girl after all; she tightly gripped Zheng Qian's hand and asked softly.
But occasionally seeing the "hickey" on Zheng Qian's neck, she felt a slightly strange palpitation in her heart.
"We might have to run for it."
Zheng Qian took a deep drag of his cigarette, not avoiding the youth, and said with a bitter smile, "If he wants to kill Rahman, I estimate there is a high probability he will succeed. Once that guy is dead, neither of us will be able to protect ourselves."
Wei Rusi immediately became nervous. After Zheng Qian put it this way, she truly realized the severity of the problem.
"Brother, can you tell me when you plan to make your move?"
Zheng Qian couldn't help but ask.
"I originally planned to do it now, but it doesn't seem possible. Their security measures have been raised by several levels."
The youth was thoughtful, then suddenly pointed at Zheng Qian. "So, I need your help."
Damn it! Damn it all!
This was exactly what Zheng Qian was most worried about!
If the youth were to act immediately, Zheng Qian planned to run away after he left.
He couldn't call Vanekto or Rahman; with the latter's overly suspicious personality, there was no guarantee he wouldn't suspect him.
He had repeatedly tested him at the city hall today; he was truly a typical ambitious villain, deep in schemes, trusting no one.
He could be considered a true villain, at least he didn't do anything behind one's back.
"How do I help you?"
"It might not be easy for me to approach him now because the army has been mobilized, and there are even some Arab martial arts experts. It's a bit difficult to break through the defensive line. But, leaving this official residence is still possible."
"I thought you were truly invincible and intended to force a kill."
Zheng Qian couldn't help but jab at him.
"You don't need to use reverse psychology on me. I am an assassin, not a reckless brute."
The youth seemed unbothered and said indifferently, "Your identity seems somewhat special; you should have some connection to the prince. Following you, there will definitely be an opportunity to approach him. I heard you talking earlier; you have employees in this city? That's perfect. After I leave now, I will head to them..."
In a few words, Zheng Qian knew what the youth wanted to do.
He planned to leave here and assume a new identity, for instance, one of Zheng Qian's company employees.
Then, he would use Zheng Qian's VIP status to be recalled to the official residence, at which point he would assassinate Rahman.
It could be said to be foolproof.
"Do I have a choice?"
Zheng Qian raised his head with a bitter smile.
"No."
The youth looked at him very honestly. "If you don't agree, you will die. Don't think that just because I leave now, you have a chance to survive. Unless you have dozens of experts by your side, protecting you 24 hours a day. No... even then, I would find an opportunity to kill you. Of course, if you don't help me, I will still get rid of Rahman, it will just take a bit more time."
"But still, the same words: both of you will die."
Zheng Qian took a deep drag of his cigarette.
"I will only say this once, listen carefully. My employees are at the Senhai Hotel opposite the city hall. After arriving, go to room 1314 to find Lindsay; she will arrange everything for you. I will call her later."
The youth's mouth twitched slightly, as if he were smiling.
"You are a very sensible person. Oh... see you tomorrow."
As his words faded, they saw him skillfully open the Pollock-style ceiling panel; he must have snuck in from there.
Even when leaving, he was very considerate and pieced the small removed section of the ceiling back together. He really...
I'm touched to tears.
What a thoughtful, warm guy.
"Are we really going to help him?"
Wei Rusi said uneasily.
"There is no other way. If we don't agree, we might really die. He is too dangerous; just standing next to him makes me feel cold, damn it. Now is not the time to talk about this; we need to prepare to run."
Zheng Qian looked at the time, his expression somewhat gloomy. "It's 6 PM now; we have one night to prepare. The people at the city hall said Rahman wants to talk to me in detail tomorrow. I will call him over then."
"And then we will do this..."
