137: Giant of Fire, Liu Yang joins the battle

When the Flame Giant appeared, Shen Yansheng was dumbfounded.

He had thought that Flame Sprites were just fire-attributed fairies.

Their primary means of attack would be magic like fireballs, Flame Arrows, and firewalls.

But looking at the thirty-meter-tall giants, composed entirely of fire elements, he froze.

Fireballs that attacked them were merged and swallowed by them.

Ice Arrows turned into clear water and then evaporated before even touching them.

Even if a ballista bolt pierced them directly, they would quickly recover.

This...

"Flame Sprites are not playing fair."

"It's over, it's over. As soon as these Flame Sprites attacked, our attacks became useless. What's the point of fighting? Let's just run."

"Run? Fairies are appearing all over the world. Where can you run to?"

"Don't panic, there must be a weakness, otherwise, it's too buggy."

"Look quickly, a Flame Giant has been killed! Quickly find out what the weakness is."

"According to the tropes in novels, these Flame Giants should have their life crystals inside them. Everyone, focus on one and smash it to smithereens. I don't believe they won't die."

Someone thought of this possibility and immediately gathered the strength of those around him to launch an attack on a specific Flame Giant.

Sure enough.

Under the concentrated attack, the Flame Giant was instantly killed.

"It works! Everyone, kill them quickly!"

Seeing humans so happy just for killing an expendable Flame Giant, the Flame Sprites curled their lips in disdain.

"Just Flame Giants are enough to trouble humans so much. I wonder how the Forest Sprites lost."

"However, don't think you're so powerful just because you can kill Flame Giants. Now, try the other attacks of my Flame Sprites!"

"All Flame Sprites, listen to my command! Skill: Heavenly Fire Descends, prepare to fire!"

Following the command of the leading Flame Sprite, the Flame Sprites quickly cast their skills as ordered.

Immediately.

The sky turned fiery red.

Endless fireballs rained down from the sky.

Their targets: the city walls and all humans within the city walls.

"No, everyone, quickly defend!"

Facing this apocalyptic scene, Shen Yansheng's expression drastically changed, and he roared repeatedly.

"It's finally over."

Watching the last batch of Forest Guardians turn to ash under his Flame Arrows, Lord Liu Yang let out a long sigh of relief.

"Oh, right, Shen Yansheng mentioned that a large number of fairies were attacking, including Flame Sprites. I wonder how things are now."

While muttering, Liu Yang glanced at the remaining time for the double drop rate, which was only about half an hour.

"Fairies, I hope you're strong. It would be best if I could raise my Second Kill skill to level 60 or 70 in one go."

Saying this, Liu Yang called out to the others who were chatting nearby:

"Stone Mountain Base is in danger. Half of you stay in Home and farm Forest Guardians, and the other half will come with me to kill enemies."

"Me."

"I'll go too."

"I don't have many attack skills, so I'll stay at Home and deal with the Forest Sprites!"

"I'll stay too."

Soon, everyone decided whether to go or stay.

Liu Yang looked at the chosen people, said nothing more, and led them out of Home.

"What the heck is going on?"

As soon as Liu Yang came out, he was at the city wall outside the city.

Seeing the sky full of fire rain, he was instantly stunned.

When Allen returned yesterday, he found that the city had been tampered with, and his burrowing skill couldn't be used, so Liu Yang didn't bother to enter the city.

He didn't expect that as soon as he appeared today, the fairies would give him such a big 'gift'.

"You all go back for now."

There was nothing Liu Yang could do but have the others go back first.

As for himself, he wanted to see if this sky-filling fire rain could break his defense.

Boom boom boom!

Boom boom boom!

Boom boom boom!

The fire rain covered the sky and earth.

The ground was scorched, the city walls cracked, houses were burnt down, and countless people ran around with their heads in their hands.

However, below the city wall, a figure was currently strolling through this endless fire rain.

The flames burning on the ground could not stop his steps.

The violent fireballs falling on him could not harm him in the slightest.

Looking at the relaxed smile on his face, even with a hint of comfort, it was as if he was soaking in a hot spring or taking a sauna, enjoying it immensely.

"Oh my, it's Liu Yang! He's finally here."

"He's here, but what is he doing? Why aren't the fairies' attacks affecting him?"

"Alliances between teams cannot attack each other. Now the fairies can't attack him, could he have betrayed us?"

Humans were surprised and puzzled, and so were the fairies.

"Hey, hey, hey, Flame Sprites, what are you doing? Why aren't you attacking that human? He's walking right towards us."

"Are you blind? Didn't you see us attacking him desperately? But his attacks are useless!"

"Oh my god, he wouldn't be on the same level as the Queen, would he? Then wouldn't we be seeking death by angering him!"

It seemed as if he heard the humans' suspicions.

And also seemed to hear the fairies' conversations.

Liu Yang said nothing more, directly took out the Flame Bow, and condensed a Flame Arrow.

Then, he aimed at a random fairy and released his finger.

When Liu Yang released his finger, no one present saw an arrow fly out.

Boom!

A loud bang.

The area Liu Yang aimed at was instantly cleared of a large section.

The humans on the city wall were shocked.

The Forest Sprites and Flame Sprites were also stunned.

The scene fell silent.

No one on either side knew what had happened.

However.

For Liu Yang, time was more important than anything else.

Ignoring the stunned state of both sides, he moved his hands continuously, and arrows shot out from his hands one after another.

[Your Flame Arrow killed an Evil Fairy. God's Instant Kill triggered. The Evil Fairy died.]

[Congratulations on killing an Evil Fairy. You received 8 Fire Spirit Stones, 9 level pill fragments (41-50), 26 skill book page, and 2 psionic energy.]

[Evil Fairy Lv47 died. God's Instant Kill skill mode 2 triggered.]

[Your Flame Arrow killed an Evil Fairy. God's Instant Kill triggered. The Evil Fairy died.]

[Your Flame Arrow killed a Forest Guardian. God's Instant Kill triggered. The Forest Guardian died.]

The notification sounds kept ringing, and Liu Yang could no longer contain his inner ecstasy, a smile blooming on his face.

At this moment, both sides finally reacted.

The human side was ecstatic, an ecstasy like surviving a disaster.

The sudden joy made them unable to stop cheering and praising Liu Yang.

"Lord Liu Yang is awesome! Lord Liu Yang is invincible!"

"Liu Yang, Liu Yang, strongest in the world!"

"With Liu Yang here, our hearts are calm, and all Evil Fairies will suffer!"

But for the fairies, it was different.

Looking at the scene in the field, the hearts of a dozen Fairy Elders instantly sank to the bottom.

"Who is this person? Why is he so strong?"

"Humans have such a powerful expert. Why haven't you told us about him?"

To the accusations of the Flame Sprites, the Forest Sprites had unspeakable bitterness.

My heart is bitter, I don't know either!
