157: Mitra is about to evolve

Antofa Gas Rock Cave.

This was the new station where the Stone Mountain Base was teleported after forming an alliance with others.

The leader here was named Nehemiah, a Light Elementalist.

Although his professional bonus was not as high as Shen Yansheng's, his strength was not weak due to his exclusive skills.

Shen Yansheng decided to ally with Nehemiah after careful consideration.

Because, thanks to Liu Yang's actions, the Earth Fairies were temporarily unable to emerge, making an underground base much safer than a surface base.

Moreover, there were many safety measures here, with very complete ventilation and drainage systems, and a hidden entrance.

More importantly, they were also allied with another base organization, but the other party had not yet gathered.

This was the most crucial backup plan.

If the other party encountered an irresistible crisis, they would evacuate here.

Conversely, if this place was attacked and could not resist, they would teleport to the other side.

It could be said that in terms of crisis response, they had done their best.

But at this moment, an atmosphere of tension and anxiety permeated the Cave Base.

Because, not long after the Thunder Fairy was released, another type of Fairy was released by the Fairy Queen.

Normally, Fairies breaking free, even if they were water, ice, or light attribute, would not be a big deal.

But unfortunately, the Fairy that broke free this time was the Charm Fairies.

From Mitra, it was learned that the Charm Fairies were a type of Fairy adept at mental power, especially skilled at confusing opponents.

And their basic skill was to control other Earth Palace Creatures.

After Allen conveyed the information to Shen Yansheng and Nehemiah, at first, the two did not take it to heart.

But when the earth-attributed Earth Palace Creature burrowed into the Cave Base, the situation changed.

Because that earth-attributed Earth Palace Creature was a monster controlled by the Charm Fairies.

It was precisely because of this that the Cave Base was exposed.

Although the cave walls had now been reinforced by Metal and Earth Elementalists, the Fairy race army outside the cave had already begun to gather.

Forest, Flame, Thunder, and Charm Fairies, a joint force of four types of Fairies, made the situation precarious.

“What should we do? Should we retreat?”

Inside the Cave Base, in a huge, difficult room, the captains of the two bases were gathered.

Shen Yansheng stroked his chin, glanced at Nehemiah, and frowned.

“The other side is just gathering; we don't know their specific strength yet. Retreating like this is not a good option.”

“Team Leader Shen is right. I'm not willing to run away with my tail between my legs like this. Even if we can't win, we should at least put up a fight first.”

After Shen Yansheng finished speaking, Nehemiah shouted loudly.

His tone and demeanor were completely inconsistent with his professional attribute.

At first glance, he seemed no different from a gang leader.

But one cannot judge a person solely by their appearance; in reality, he was a teacher.

“I also think we should fight first. If we retreat like this, we probably won't be able to hide for long on the other side. There will always be a battle.”

“Fight, we must fight! With so many of us, can't we defeat a mere group of Fairies?”

“Boss, give the order, I can't wait any longer.”

As the two team leaders spoke, the captains below expressed their thoughts one after another.

Each of them clamored for battle; no one was timid.

Listening to the captains' voices, Nehemiah nodded in satisfaction, then looked at Shen Yansheng.

“By the way, is your Captain Liu finished with his work now? In this situation, having him here would significantly reduce casualties.”

Looking at Nehemiah's gaze, Shen Yansheng did not speak but turned to look at Allen beside him.

The meaning was clear: he wanted Allen to answer this question.

After all, ever since Allen became the bridge between the two teams, Shen Yansheng had rarely contacted Liu Yang.

Therefore, no one understood this question better than Allen.

Seeing everyone looking at him, Allen nodded slightly and said softly, “Please wait a moment.”

With that, he disappeared from everyone's sight.

Inside Liu Yang's Home.

Seeing everyone gathered around Mitra and Shi Yufei, Allen quickly walked over.

At this moment, the atmosphere was extremely tense, as if the air had solidified.

Seeing this, Allen's expression also became serious.

Upon closer inspection, he immediately discovered the problem.

【Forest Sprite Mitra Lv??? (Evolving): A rare variant among the Forest Sprite race, she has begun to mutate and evolve under some unknown circumstances. (Comprehensive attributes ???)】

“What's going on? Last time I saw her, she was level 90. Is she going to break through level 100?”

Allen's heart stirred, and he couldn't help but get excited.

Just then, Liu Yang saw Allen's arrival.

“Allen, you've come at a good time. I was just about to look for you. The situation is a bit different from what was expected. The fairy tears Mitra needs this time cannot be calculated by normal means, and we won't be able to collect them in a short while. Go quickly and ask Team Leader Shen.”

Upon hearing this, Allen immediately ran towards the teleportation stone.

Then he heard Liu Yang say again, “Tell Team Leader Shen that if there are no problems, this time there's a great chance to end the war.”

Allen paused, nodded happily, “Yes!”

In the Cave Base conference room, Allen returned.

As soon as his feet touched the ground, Allen, with a look of wild joy, said to Shen Yansheng, “Team Leader Shen, Team Leader Nehemiah, quick, quickly collect all the fairy tears! My captain urgently needs them.”

“He said that if there are no surprises this time, the war with the Fairy race might be over.”

As soon as Allen spoke, the scene fell silent.

Then a flurry of excited discussion erupted.

“Hahaha, this is great! Is Lord Liu Yang finally going to succeed?”

“Big Boss truly lives up to his name; humanity is saved now.”

“I had already written my will, but it seems it was for nothing.”

“What? He can end the war with the Fairy race?”

“I know Liu Yang, but is he really that powerful?”

“He wouldn't be bragging, would he? Can he do it alone?”

“I don't know, but looking at the expressions of the new allies, it doesn't seem like a lie.”

Those who had witnessed Liu Yang's prowess believed his words implicitly.

Although he hadn't appeared since their last parting, it was precisely because of this that they increasingly felt he was deeply involved in an experiment.

And now, the experiment was finally about to succeed, which filled them with immense joy.

However, for the captains of the original Cave Base, it was a bit different.

After all, although they had heard of Liu Yang's reputation, they didn't quite believe that he could end the war with the Fairy race.

“Alright, in that case, I will immediately have people collect the fairy tears.”

Shen Yansheng's face lit up with joy, and he quickly gave the order.

Nehemiah's expression tightened, and he immediately stopped the captains' discussions: “I don't care what you're thinking, and I'm not sure if things will turn out as Liu Yang said, but I trust Team Leader Shen.”

“So, immediately collect all the fairy tears in your teams, and be quick about it.”

With the two team leaders giving orders, things went very smoothly.

Before long, all the fairy tears were collected and handed over to Allen.

“Regardless of the outcome, please hurry!”
