342: Preliminary selection begins!

Next, there is still one month of preparation time.

For everyone, every single second must be seized to improve their own strength!

After all, no one wants to be eliminated as soon as they enter.

At the same time, they also yearned for grand battles, for sparring and competition with these Cosmic Geniuses, vying for those limited rankings!

...Time slowly passed.

One month quickly ended.

On April 16, 2066.

Almost every Earth martial artist received the same message—

“Welcome to the ‘Cosmic Human Race — Peak Genius’ selection battle!”

“In this selection battle, you can use any grade of psychic (Origin Power) weapon, and also choose Origin Power battle armor not exceeding Tier 2, and a spatial ring for storing food…”

“This selection battle tests ‘will,’ ‘domain,’ ‘experience,’ ‘law comprehension,’ etc. External conditions are equal for everyone.”

...This Genius selection battle is divided into two major stages.

The first stage selects the top 1,000 experts from each major Universe Country.

The second stage gathers the top 1,000 experts from each Universe Country. All the Geniuses from various Universe Countries will gather together for the final decisive battle to determine the top 1,000 in the Cosmic overall ranking… Soon, Chen Fan and the others finished reading all these intricate rules, and the pressure in their hearts suddenly increased.

Over 800 billion Astral Rank martial artists are evenly distributed among 100 worlds, and then 100,100 people are selected based on their kill points.

Finally, these 100,100 people will participate in a Ring Match (arena battle) to select 1,000 of them.

However, the rules are simple and brutal, which suits his intentions!

The cruelty of this competition is tens of millions of times more intense than the Life and Death Chessboard in the World Lord World on Canglan Star back then!

“To pick one out of eight million Geniuses, it’s truly exciting!” Thunder God looked at these messages, his expression slightly excited.

“Though there are billions of Geniuses, I alone shall prevail!” At this moment, Wang Teng suddenly blurted out such a heartfelt statement.

“This battle is the perfect test of our achievements over so many years!” Hong said with a slight smile.

“Prepare well!” Chen Fan just threw out this sentence, then exited the Virtual Universe to accompany his three lovely wives… Time quietly passed, one month after registering for the Universe Genius Battle.

May 16, 2066, Earth calendar, was the day the first round of the Genius Battle began.

A large number of participants continuously gathered, including Chen Fan's various clones.

A staggering 800 billion Astral Rank martial artists!

These were all the elite Geniuses of the Qianwu Universe Country!!

The 100 world zones in the preliminary round had already been divided, and all Earth martial artists knew their locations, just like knowing their examination hall for a college entrance exam—

“I’m in District 3, how about you all?”

“I’m in World District 13,” Chen Fan said with a smile.

“Hahaha, I’m in District 88, a good number. Old Ma, where are you?”

“Me, District 1!!”

“...”

At this moment, a clear voice echoed above the continent, lingering for a long time—

“All contestants, please note, this preliminary elimination round will be divided into 100 world zones, and a mass teleportation will commence shortly…”

Chen Fan lowered his head, looking at himself.

He was fully armed, wearing a dark gray Tier 2 Origin Power battle armor and a complete set of protective gear.

His spatial ring was filled with food, including two Tier 5 Origin Power weapons and a Martial God Weapon.

The Martial God Weapon simulated by the Virtual Universe was exactly the same as in reality.

“Mass teleportation is about to begin, countdown 10… 9… 8…”

Countdown sounds reverberated throughout the entire continent.

“Here it comes!”

Around them, the Earth martial artists exchanged glances, their eyes filled with determination.

“Good luck!!”

“Everyone, keep it up!” Ma Liang smiled and made an encouraging gesture.

“3!”

“2!”

“1!”

“Teleportation begins!!”

The same countdown echoed in the ears of over 800 billion people.

The next instant, everyone on the entire continent disappeared.

At the same moment, a total of over 820 billion people appeared in 100 separate worlds opened by the Virtual Universe.

On average, 8.2 billion people per world.

Thus, the Universe Human Race Peak Genius Battle, preliminary round, began!!

As a grand event for the entire Cosmic Human Race, from ordinary citizens of low-level cosmic civilizations to the Universe Country Lords, all were paying attention to the preliminary rounds of their respective Universe Countries… Ma Liang and Luo Feng were assigned to the First World District, while Chen Fan arrived in the 13th Cosmic District.

Within the Thirteenth World District.

On a Ferris wheel in an amusement park, Chen Fan overlooked the area from above.

“The gravity of this world is over 3,000 times stronger than Earth’s, but it can’t compare to Realm Lord Ming Sa’s world.”

Whoosh!!

Feeling the surging airflow rushing towards him, a fierce fighting spirit permeated Chen Fan’s chest.

Finally, he could compete with these Cosmic Peak Geniuses.

Powerful gravity was already commonplace for Chen Fan.

At this moment, he looked down at the arm guard on his wrist. This was his communication device in this world, capable of receiving various information from the ‘Virtual Universe Corporation.’

Similarly, on the screen of this arm guard, there was also Chen Fan’s information—

【Contestant: Chen Fan (Black Dragon Mountain Empire)】

【Points: 0】

【Ranking: None】

【Current World: First World, the entire First World District has a total of 91 cities, an area of over 13 million square kilometers, building strength: B9 grade】

【Point rule: Kill one contestant to get one point, and inherit half of the opponent’s points…】

【Duration: After thirty days, rankings will be based on points】

...Standing on the Ferris wheel, Chen Fan quietly read all the messages, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help but curl up slightly.

It was somewhat amusing that he was in the same world district as that kid Luo Feng.

One must know that over these years, his Heavenly Demon Race Clone’s improvement had been terrifying, far beyond what young people like Luo Feng could compare to.

Even Rong Jun and Bolan might not be his opponents.

This time, the first place in the Universe Genius Battle, I, Chen Fan, will take it!

After reading his information, Chen Fan was instantly filled with heroic spirit!

Suddenly, bursts of intense fighting sounds erupted.

Not far away,

Chen Fan looked up and saw figures already engaged in fierce battles in the amusement park.

A preliminary world of less than 15 million square kilometers, yet with a staggering 8.2 billion Astral Rank martial artists.

Undoubtedly, with such a high density, the probability of battles breaking out greatly increased.

This was also something the Virtual Universe Corporation wanted to see.

At this moment, Chen Fan looked out.

Further into the amusement park… was a bustling city.

Skyscrapers rose from the ground, yet there was no sign of life, like a dead city.

Desolate, quiet, lifeless!

However, all of this was now broken by the sudden arrival of 8 billion Astral Rank Geniuses.

The preliminary round has begun!,
