135: Chapter 135 Using a borrowed knife to kill

At the main entrance of the villa.

Zhang Zhiyang took two gum-like items out of his pocket, unwrapped them, and turned to look at Han Jingyang.

Han Jingyang and Xiao Tan put down the table, lit the incense and candles, and arranged the offerings with the utmost speed.

He softly shouted, "Manifestation of Holiness."

Strands of red aura instantly radiated from the jade guan gong statue, scattering onto the four people present.

Immediately after, he activated "Guan Gong Possession."

The next second.

In the shocked eyes of Zhang Zhiyang and Xiao Tan, a majestic figure holding a blade and riding a horse condensed from the boxwood statue of Guan Gong.

The phantom of Guan Gong was over three meters tall, looking awe-inspiring; every glance felt like a god of war descending to the world.

The phantom of Guan Gong looked around as if it were a real person, wearing a proud expression, stroked its long beard, charged toward Liu Jing, and vanished.

A layer of green radiance appeared on Liu Jing, and her expression gained a hint of majesty, looking almost exactly like the phantom of Guan Gong from moments ago.

Han Jingyang patted Zhang Zhiyang on the shoulder and pointed at the villa's main door.

Only then did Zhang Zhiyang snap out of it. He put away his shock, took four gum-like items from his pocket, pressed them together in pairs, stuck them onto the door lock, inserted the micro-detonator wire, and pulled the three of them back several steps.

Detonation.

"Boom—" The sound was not loud. The door lock opened in response.

Zhang Zhiyang was the first to rush up and pull open the security door.

Liu Jing quickly followed, waving her war sword as she charged into the living room, running head-on into Sun Hailu and two Japanese samurai.

Fighting three against one, she did not show the slightest weakness. With a tiger-like roar, she swung her blade for a fierce slash.

With that one strike, even the unsharpened war sword emitted a sharp whistling sound. The speed was evident.

Seeing that Liu Jing was a woman, Ishida Hisashi sneered in disdain and charged forward with his sword.

But upon seeing Liu Jing's strike, his expression changed drastically, and he hurriedly raised his sword to parry.

"Clang—" A crisp sound rang out. Ishida Hisashi's samurai sword snapped off at the root.

But Liu Jing's momentum did not diminish; after cutting through Ishida Hisashi's samurai sword, she landed a solid blow on Ishida Hisashi's shoulder.

Ishida Hisashi's shoulder instantly collapsed. There was no blood, but he had already lost his ability to fight.

Ishida Hisashi clutched his shoulder, screaming as he staggered back and retreated from the battle.

Liu Jing coldly shouted, "Trash—" and charged at Sun Hailu with her blade.

Sun Hailu had no strong will to fight to begin with, and seeing Liu Jing so fierce, he hurriedly retreated.

Just as Sun Hailu retreated, Liu Jing reversed the hilt of her blade, twisted her body, and swept horizontally, her war sword whistling as it swung toward Shibasaki Tama, who was preparing to launch a sneak attack.

Feinting east to attack the west! Liu Jing's target had been Shibasaki Tama all along, not Sun Hailu.

Shibasaki Tama was twenty-seven or twenty-eight and a woman, with relatively weaker strength. Sun Hailu was over forty, trained in traditional martial arts, and was quite slippery and difficult to deal with.

Liu Jing feigning an attack on Sun Hailu to surprise Shibasaki Tama was an extremely brilliant combat strategy.

In a flash, Liu Jing's war sword slammed heavily into Shibasaki Tama's slender waist, sending her flying several meters away before she even had time to block.

One second. A broken sword, a broken arm, Sun Hailu forced back, and Shibasaki Tama sent flying.

Zhang Zhiyang rushed in and saw this scene, stunned. Was this even human?

Even if it really was Guan Gong Possession, it was too fierce. He had seen martial artists who invited spirits to possess them before, but none were this powerful.

Were the opponents too weak? Zhang Zhiyang shook his head and shifted his attention to Shirakawa Yasunari and Ishihara Koanno.

Shirakawa Yasunari and Ishihara Koanno were also terrified. Losing two major fighters in a single encounter—how could they fight?

But Liu Jing and Zhang Zhiyang didn't give them a chance to hesitate and charged straight in to fight. Each was fiercer than the other.

Liu Jing swung her war sword with a whistling force, chasing Sun Hailu around the living room, leaving him jumping about with no power to parry; he didn't even dare to look back, let alone fight back.

At the entrance. Han Jingyang held his compass, staring intently at the aura and energy within the room, ready to provide support at any moment.

Watching Liu Jing and Zhang Zhiyang sweep through like tigers into a flock of sheep, he breathed a slight sigh of relief.

But the next second, he shouted, "There's an ambush, watch out—"

Liu Jing and Zhang Zhiyang retreated quickly without a second thought, standing back-to-back and guarding carefully.

Then, seven samurai crawled out of the room. The original ambush had just turned into a direct confrontation.

The seven samurai plus Sun Hailu slowly closed in on Liu Jing and Zhang Zhiyang. The atmosphere became even more tense.

Zhang Zhiyang felt uneasy; failing to detect the ambush in the room was his professional error. Returning would inevitably mean writing reports, receiving criticism, or even getting his pay docked, being demoted, or... being dismissed. That was assuming he could return alive.

Just as he was about to ask Liu Jing what to do, he saw her rush out without a word.

Damn! So fierce? Zhang Zhiyang gritted his teeth and followed her in.

Seeing this, Han Jingyang nodded to Miss Tan beside him: "You go help too."

"What about you?" "Don't worry about me." "But..." "No buts, hurry."

"Yes," Miss Tan gritted her teeth, drew her sword, and rushed into the room.

Seeing this, Shirakawa Yasunari was not alarmed but delighted. He gave a look to Ishihara Koanno, retreated to the second floor, opened the window, and leaped down with his sword. While mid-air, his samurai sword was already aimed at Han Jingyang's head.

The blade borrowed the momentum of the person; it was as fast as thunder.

Shirakawa Yasunari's strike was certain to succeed, and a ferocious grin involuntarily spread across his face.

Han Jingyang was also startled by the samurai descending from the sky. Without thinking, he drew his Kaiken.

"Killing with a Borrowed Blade!"

A blue blade shadow flashed by, like a peregrine falcon.

Shirakawa Yasunari, mid-air, only felt a chill on his neck, and his strength instantly vanished. His eyes became vacant, and he fell straight down from mid-air, motionless, his two small eyes still wide open. He died without knowing what had happened, and there wasn't a drop of blood on his body.

Han Jingyang breathed a sigh of relief. This Kaiken was so powerful. The Killing with a Borrowed Blade skill was also really useful. Killing without shedding blood. Quick and covert, making it impossible for people to defend against.

I didn't even see clearly where that blade came from, let alone the enemy.

The only pity was that the level was a little low, only grade six. It takes a long time to recharge after one use, and the skill CD time is too long.

I've invested heavily. If the loot doesn't cover the cost, I'll have to make Zhang Zhiyang make up for it.

Han Jingyang stepped into the room. In just a few seconds, the place was already littered with corpses.

Liu Jing was like a god of war, waving the unsharpened kangxi war sword, chasing and slashing everywhere, invincible and with no rivals.

Amazing! Lord Guan is truly fierce! Using the last "Guan Gong Possession" here was not a loss.

Although this skill cannot be used again for a short time, raising such a super-capable, fierce female bodyguard like Liu Jing is very cost-effective.

After the skill effect wears off, Liu Jing will have about 60% of her current combat power, which is not much worse than Zhang Zhiyang. Overall, it's still a profit.

I'll pay more attention to Guan Gong-themed antiques later; if there's a chance, I can unlock a second "Guan Gong Possession." Things like "Guan Gong Descends" or "Guan Gong Manifests" would also work.

Half a minute later. The battle ended.

Liu Jing led the attack, Zhang Zhiyang assisted, and these Japanese people had no power to fight back; even the sly and cunning Sun Hailu didn't last three moves before Liu Jing broke his arm.

Only Ishihara Koanno remained motionless the entire time, standing at the staircase like a wooden statue.

Zhang Zhiyang handcuffed Sun Hailu, glanced at Ishihara Koanno, who had no expression or movement, frowned, and turned to ask Han Jingyang: "What's going on with this guy?"
