466: Chapter 466 There's always something beyond the heavens.

Han Jingyang stood at the doorway, his gaze cold.

He watched quietly as the Japanese invaders and the so-called Great God Tsukuyomi charged toward him.

It was only when the Japanese invaders and Tsukuyomi were right in front of him that he instantly summoned Chaotian Temple.

Chaotian Temple stood a zhang tall, its figure burly and its expression awe-inspiring. Although it could not manifest in a physical form like Tsukuyomi, it was far more overbearing.

In front of Chaotian Temple, Tsukuyomi looked like a malnourished child.

At the same time, Han Jingyang quietly activated "Manifestation of Holiness," covering everyone, including the group of Japanese invaders.

He didn't just want to kill!

He wanted to crush their spirits!

He wanted the Japanese invaders to understand what it truly meant to have heavens beyond heavens.

He wanted the Japanese invaders to know that their so-called bullshit god was nothing in front of a Chinese deity; a nameless little warrior could crush the so-called Great God Tsukuyomi!

However, before Chaotian Temple could even exert its power, the Japanese invaders were startled. They stopped in unison and retreated slowly, staring nervously at the suddenly appeared Chaotian Temple.

After taking two steps back, Kato Shiyong shouted with a fierce-looking but cowardly tone: "Han Jingyang, what kind of ghost is this?"

Han Jingyang sneered: "You're right, this really is a ghost—a lonely spirit from a nameless little temple. Come, let your Great God Tsukuyomi clash with my little ghost and see which one is stronger."

After saying this, he waved his hand: "Chaotian Temple, go, tear that sissy apart!"

Chaotian Temple lunged at Tsukuyomi, wielding its giant sword and hacking down at its head.

Everyone watched the battle between the two divine beings nervously.

The Japanese invaders were especially tense, not daring to blink.

Under everyone's gaze, Tsukuyomi nimbly dodged the giant sword of Chaotian Temple and leaped into the air, brandishing the flute in its hand toward the space between Chaotian Temple's brows. The movement was elegant, graceful, and aesthetically pleasing.

The Japanese invaders cheered in unison upon seeing this.

"Good!"

"Beautiful!"

"Exquisite footwork!"

"Worthy of the Great God Tsukuyomi!"

"Kill!"

The next second.

The Japanese invaders' cheers stopped abruptly. Their expressions of excitement vanished instantly, and they stared blankly at the Great God Tsukuyomi, in whom they had placed all their hopes, with expressions of utter disbelief.

In the center of the courtyard, Tsukuyomi, which had just been elegant and graceful, was now tightly gripped in the hand of Chaotian Temple, unable to move. The flute was pressed against the space between Chaotian Temple's brows, missing by a hair's breadth, but that tiny distance was as insurmountable as a chasm.

Chaotian Temple held Tsukuyomi by the neck with one hand and stabbed its giant sword into Tsukuyomi's heart with the other.

The sharp giant sword entered the chest and emerged from the back.

With one strike, Tsukuyomi could no longer maintain its solid form. Wisps of gray-white energy emerged from the wound as if it were bleeding. It struggled desperately but could not break free from Chaotian Temple's grasp no matter what.

The little snake on Chaotian Temple's shoulder wasn't idle either; it bit into Tsukuyomi's neck and began to devour it frantically.

In just a few breaths, Tsukuyomi became visibly much weaker.

At this rate, Tsukuyomi wouldn't last ten minutes.

Kato Shiyong was desperate and swung his Katana violently: "For the Great God Tsukuyomi, kill Han Jingyang—"

"Kill—"

Hearing this, the Japanese invaders brandished their swords and charged toward Han Jingyang together.

Two Onmyoji even quietly released their Shikigami and used Onmyodo.

However, the Shikigami and Onmyodo, which were originally invisible and traceless, were revealed under the influence of the Manifestation of Holiness attribute. Everyone present could see them clearly, rendering the Japanese invaders' specialty—the sneak attack—meaningless.

Seeing more Shikigami, Chaotian Temple grinned silently. It reached out, grabbed a water-monkey-like imp, and squeezed it hard, crushing it instantly as if it were a quail. Then, it took a deep breath, and the various colored energies in front of it flowed like streams into the sea, drilling into Chaotian Temple's nostrils.

With another deep breath, it sucked up all the scattered energy—whether from Tsukuyomi or the exploded water-monkey-like Shikigami. It refused nothing, gulping it all down like a whale drinking the sea.

The charging Japanese invaders were completely terrified!

They stopped in their tracks once again!

"Impossible!"

"What kind of ability is this?"

"An evil god! It must be an evil god!"

"What do we do?"

"Terrifying!"

"Great God Tsukuyomi, do not lose to this evil god!"

"Lord Kato, what do we do now?"

"Fight or retreat?"

"Han Jingyang and that demoness haven't even made a move yet."

Kato Shiyong's eyes were about to pop out. He had guessed that Han Jingyang would be very strong and that Tsukuyomi's avatar would lose. He had even prepared for the loss, having already transmitted the location of the treasure and the method to open the seal back to the Jiuju Sect's headquarters in the island nation.

However, he never expected that so many of them, plus the carefully nurtured Tsukuyomi, would have absolutely no power to fight back against this young man, Han Jingyang.

With such a young man guarding China, when would their ambition to completely occupy China ever be realized?

Thinking of this, endless frustration arose in Kato Shiyong's heart.

Too strong!

This young man was too strong!

So strong that he was completely unmatched!

Should he retreat?

Thinking of this, Kato held up his Katana with a serious expression: "Everyone, the time has come to lay down our lives for the Jiuju Sect!"

Seeing this, the other Japanese invaders also raised their Katanas with solemn expressions. This was the signal to launch the final charge—a suicide mission.

However, the Japanese invaders, accustomed to long periods of peace, were fierce only in their clamoring. When truly facing death, they were far less fearless than some of their predecessors. The Katanas they held were actually trembling slightly, and some were even shaking in their legs.

Kato Shiyong waved his sword once again: "Charge—"

The Japanese invaders mustered their courage, howling as they charged toward Han Jingyang.

But at this moment, Kato Shiyong turned around and rushed toward the surrounding wall, leaping onto it, intending to vault over and escape.

Just as he was about to vault over and feeling relieved, a slender, graceful figure rose slowly from outside the wall.

Kato Shiyong was terrified. His hands slipped, and he fell directly to the ground.

Looking back, he saw that several of his subordinates had already died under the blade of the demoness beside Han Jingyang, all killed by a single strike.

Seeing this, Kato Shiyong breathed a sigh of relief. He stood up, threw down his Katana, and said with a fawning smile: "Mr. Han, I am truly sorry. It was all a misunderstanding, all a misunderstanding..."

Han Jingyang was stunned.

This old Japanese invader... was he worthy of those who were howling and charging?

If those Japanese invaders who had just died could see this, they would probably tear the old man apart alive first, right?

This kind of person was truly disgusting.

Han Jingyang felt disgusted inside but showed a slight smile on his face: "A misunderstanding?"

"Yes, yes, it really is a misunderstanding."

"Since it is a misunderstanding, then take out everything you snatched from me. As long as you are willing to cooperate, never mind sparing your life, I have no problem letting you go back."

"Really?"

"I, Han Jingyang, keep my word, even to enemies!"

Kato Shiyong beamed instantly and ran into the house to bring out one box after another: "Hehe, Mr. Han, it's all here."

Han Jingyang nodded, but suddenly drew his sword and thrust it violently into the abdomen of the unsuspecting Kato Shiyong. His expression grew cold as he stared at the Kato Shiyong, who was full of disbelief: "If you were truly a loyal and righteous person, I might have held you in high regard. Unfortunately, you are not. You are just an incompetent, cowardly rat—a heartless, disloyal, and unfilial rat. Even as an enemy, I despise you!"

Kato Shiyong clutched his stomach, looked down at the long sword in his abdomen, and revealed a miserable, pleading expression: "Mr. Han, don't, don't kill me. I can go back to the island nation and be your inside man..."
