93: Chapter 93 Starting Afresh, A Decisive Strike!

"Knock, knock, knock."

Lin Yuan raised his hand and rapped his knuckles rhythmically three times against the heavy solid wood door.

"Please, come in."

From inside the door, Dean Chen's familiar, gentle voice drifted out.

Lin Yuan pressed down on the door handle and pushed the door open to enter.

Inside the office, Dean Chen was wearing his reading glasses, head bowed as he flipped through a thick stack of documents on his desk.

Hearing the door open, he looked up.

The moment he saw that the visitor was Lin Yuan, an undisguised expression of joy appeared on Dean Chen's face.

He tossed the document in his hand onto the desk and strode directly around the large office desk.

"You've finally come."

Dean Chen walked toward him, his pace quick and hurried, carrying an irrepressible sense of urgency.

Ever since he received the message from Lin Yuan this morning, learning that the materials had been preliminarily organized, Dean Chen had canceled all routine meetings for the morning, and even handed over an extremely important foreign affairs reception to his deputy to handle.

He hadn't gone anywhere, just sat firmly in this office, staring at the door while waiting.

Now, he had finally waited for him.

Dean Chen walked up to Lin Yuan, reached out his hand, and pointed to the reception area on the right side of the office, saying in a warm tone, "Come, come, come, sit down first."

Lin Yuan nodded slightly, without any polite formalities, and with his black backpack slung over his shoulder, he lifted his feet and walked toward the reception area.

Qin Meng followed half a step behind and quietly sat down on a single sofa slightly further away.

Dean Chen also sat down on the sofa opposite Lin Yuan, his body leaning forward unconsciously.

A set of purple clay tea set was placed on the coffee table.

Dean Chen lifted the teapot, his wrist turned slightly, and boiling hot tea was poured into the cups, which were then pushed one by one in front of Lin Yuan and Qin Meng.

Steam rose, carrying a refined fragrance of tea that permeated the office.

Dean Chen put down the purple clay teapot; the bottom of the pot made an extremely faint sound as it touched the wooden tea tray.

He did not rush to pick up his own teacup, but instead cast his gaze entirely toward Lin Yuan opposite him.

The young man in front of him was wearing simple casual clothes, his expression calm, and he even carried a hint of careless laziness.

Even though the outside world had been completely turned upside down because of his remarks at the press conference.

Yet in the eyes of this instigator, one still could not see a shred of the arrogance and restlessness belonging to this age.

This bottomless composure made Dean Chen secretly marvel in his heart.

He reined in his superfluous thoughts, and the expression on his face gradually became serious.

Looking at Lin Yuan, without too much small talk, he cut straight to the point.

"You coming here this time..." Dean Chen paused, his slightly rough hands resting on his knees.

"Have you organized all those things we talked about last time?"

This was a question carrying a strong sense of confirmation.

Dean Chen knew very well in his heart what it meant for Lin Yuan to take the initiative to send a message.

But this matter was simply too big; it concerned the ultimate strategic layout of the Xia Kingdom in the next technological era.

He had to hear a definitive answer from this young man in front of him before he could truly put his hanging heart back into his stomach.

Meeting Dean Chen's burning gaze, Lin Yuan nodded gently.

Subsequently, he took off the black backpack he had been carrying and placed it on the solid wood coffee table in front of him.

"It's all inside."

Dean Chen's gaze locked onto that black backpack instantly.

It was made of ordinary canvas material, with traces of wear along the edges.

If this were placed on the street, it would be just a common student backpack seen everywhere.

But in Dean Chen's view, this object carried immense weight.

The first set of technical data for the Photolithography Machine was taken out from inside it.

That special material preparation process that broke through the Western blockade was also taken out from inside it.

Every time the zipper of this backpack was opened, it was enough to cause an magnitude-eight earthquake in the global technology sector.

And now, what was inside it was the key capable of opening the door to a new era.

"Very good." Dean Chen nodded heavily.

He did not rashly reach out to touch the bag, but instead rested his hands on his knees and leaned forward another half an inch.

"Lin Yuan, the data inside this..." Dean Chen paused slightly and swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

"Roughly what does it contain? Give me a simple heads-up beforehand."

Lin Yuan leaned back against the soft sofa backrest, his posture relaxed, and his right hand slowly raised.

Two slender fingers were held up in mid-air.

"Dean Chen, the data in the bag is mainly divided into two core contents."

Lin Yuan's voice was steady, echoing clearly within the quiet office.

Hearing this sentence, Dean Chen's body, which had been slightly leaning forward, paused for a moment.

"Two?" He subconsciously repeated this number.

"Yes." Lin Yuan retracted his middle finger, leaving only one index finger held up in mid-air.

"The first is the basic theory of Fifth-Generation Communication Technology."

"In order to surpass the fourth-generation communication technology and achieve a leapfrog dimensional reduction strike, the Fifth-Generation Communication Technology project plans to use large-scale MIMO antenna communication as the hardware skeleton, combined with a new type of air interface physical layer."

"On this basis, supplemented by full-band spectrum reuse technology, all those high-frequency millimeter waves that have been deemed 'garbage frequency bands' by the West and considered unusable for long-distance transmission are to be incorporated into the usable range."

"Finally, use low-latency concurrent scheduling algorithms to manage this massive data stream."

A series of extremely professional terms were uttered from Lin Yuan's mouth unhurriedly.

There were no lengthy explanations, nor were there any tedious lists of steps.

But these few sentences combined together outlined a vast, precise, and highly aggressive technological blueprint.

Dean Chen sat opposite him, his breathing becoming incomparably heavy, his eyes shining frighteningly bright.

Although he was not a top expert in the field of communication, he could not directly judge the feasibility of this theory in terms of mathematical models.

But he possessed a sharp intuition for the evolutionary trajectory of technology.

The fourth generation currently being pursued abroad was still fixated on the utilization rate of low-frequency bands, fighting tooth and nail for a few megabytes of bandwidth.

And Lin Yuan's plan was equivalent to directly overturning the chessboard, and even smashing the table!

Not using your low-frequency bands, not using your air interface standards.

Starting anew, maxing out the spectrum resources, using higher computing power and brand-new antenna arrays to carry out a dimensional reduction strike.

Once this technology is implemented, the fourth-generation core patents that those communication giants The Other Side of the Ocean hold in their hands and are so proud of will completely become waste paper in the Xia Kingdom!

The Xia Kingdom will not only be able to bypass the communication technology blockade but also completely master the initiative in global manufacturing upgrades in the next decade.

"Good! Excellent!" Dean Chen nodded heavily, without asking about those obscure data and formulas.

He knew that Lin Yuan would not shoot without a target.

Since he dared to put these things in a bag and bring them over, it proved that this technical route was absolutely viable.

The direction was set; all that remained was to concentrate the nation's strength to accomplish great things.

Seeing Dean Chen's straightforward and decisive reaction, a faint smile appeared on Lin Yuan's lips.

Subsequently, Lin Yuan did not withdraw the hand he had stopped in mid-air.

His thumb moved.

Beside his index finger, his middle finger popped out as well.

Two slender fingers were held together, steadily held up before Dean Chen's eyes.

Meeting Dean Chen's gaze, Lin Yuan parted his thin lips slightly.

"The second." He enunciated very softly.

"Basic theory of Brain-like Machine Intelligence."
