130: An unexpected surprise from the green blueprint

Before, having acquired several orange and red quality blueprints, Lu Yang honestly looked down on blueprints of blue quality or lower.

Especially those for cold weapons or ordinary production elements, as they didn't align with his 'caliber is justice' objective.

But now, due to the 'Civilization Pioneer' advancement mission, he picked up many low-quality blueprints again and found that although their power was relatively small, they were actually very cost-effective.

They might not be useful against trains, but their individual combat effectiveness was good.

For example, the [Double-Barreled Thundergun Shotgun Complete Production Line Blueprint (Green)] that Liu Dashan presented—if it were before, Lu Yang likely wouldn't have thought much of it.

Although its price was cheap, a complete Tier 1 production line only required 100 units of Tier 2 Iron Mine and 100 units of Tier 2 copper, and a Tier 1 Double-Barreled Thundergun Shotgun only needed 5 units of Tier 2 Iron Mine, and its power was considerable, its range was too short.

This type of close-quarters urban combat weapon, often called a 'sprayer,' typically had an effective range of only thirty to fifty meters.

However, those hit were basically instantly killed; even wearing bulletproof vests was useless against it.

This was because of its large area of effect.

If slugs were used, its close-range armor-piercing capability was extremely strong, even capable of penetrating the armor of light armored vehicles of the same tier.

So Lu Yang immediately upgraded the production line to Tier 15, gaining three characteristics: 'Secondary Armor Penetration,' 'Slug Demolition,' and 'Fixed Range.'

The effective range was fixed at 100 meters with no reduction in power; a single slug could directly blow off the head of a dummy wearing a double-layered iron helmet.

There were also production material blueprints like the [Fast-Drying Cement Production Line Blueprint (Green)] and another [Dragonbone Rebar Production Line Blueprint (Green)] that Lu Yang traded for from a Train Captain in Donglin Plain.

The products from these two blueprints could generally only be used by those with a fixed base of operations.

Most Train Captains made their trains their home and didn't stay in one place for too long, so even though these two blueprints only cost three hundred units of Tier 1 Iron Mine each, no Train Captain would waste Iron Mine to build them.

Unless it was to meet the blueprint quantity requirement for an advancement mission.

Thus, they eventually fell into Lu Yang's hands.

Considering that the 'Civilization Pioneer' advancement mission required him to hold a position, Lu Yang upgraded both to Tier 15 in one go, obtaining three characteristics for each: 'High-Efficiency Fast-Drying,' 'Extreme Corrosion Resistance,' 'Super Shock Resistance,' and 'Perfect Fit,' 'Super Toughness,' 'Super Wear Resistance.'

With a try-and-see attitude, Lu Yang produced a batch of fast-drying cement and dragonbone rebar from the Tier 15 production lines and built a bunker according to the architectural structure to test its strength.

He didn't expect that the cement, with its high-efficiency fast-drying characteristic, only took ten minutes to shape and solidify. Even if it was immediately soaked in water afterward, its solid form would not change in the slightest; after taking it out of the water, a simple shake would leave no water stains on the surface.

If dragonbone rebar was incorporated according to the architectural structure, even shells from a PLZ Vehicle-Mounted Self-Propelled Howitzer would not leave the slightest mark.

Lu Yang tested all the weapons on the Xinhuo Train, and even shells from a Small Electromagnetic Railgun couldn't penetrate a one-meter-thick reinforced concrete wall.

The defensive effect was so strong that Lu Yang even considered adding a layer of it to the train as an alternative armor.

In addition, there were items like the Eight-Ox Crossbow, Stinger Landmines, and even the fragmentation grenade production lines that came with Tier 3 trains, all of which Lu Yang uniformly upgraded to Tier 10.

And he built several of them.

For this, Lu Yang specially constructed an entire factory and storage section, all filled with Tier 5 Micro Ecological Farms; except for two ecological farms dedicated to production, all others were used to store war materiel.

This also caused resources like Iron Mine on the Xinhuo Train to be consumed continuously like flowing water.
