146: Guide beacons and void parking stations

Guide Beacon Blueprint

Level: orange quality

Type: Special

Construction Cost: 100 units of tier 3 iron ore, 100 units of tier 3 copper, 1 unit of tier 3 cloud mica

Construction Effect: Can automatically generate a certain number of Guide Beacons daily to scatter into the wilderness. Those who pick up a Guide Beacon, after meeting certain conditions as required by the beacon, can tear up the beacon according to its instructions and appear in the reception hall that matches the Guide Beacon.

Void Anchor Station Blueprint

Level: orange quality

Type: Special

Construction Cost: 500 units of tier 3 iron ore, 500 units of tier 3 copper, 1 unit of tier 3 ethereal stone

Construction Effect: Allows for the construction of a void station inside the train for passing trains to dock and rest.

These two blueprints cannot be said to be not precious.

The first Guide Beacon Blueprint, once built, can automatically recruit wandering survivors in the wilderness. The second Void Anchor Station Blueprint allows for trains to dock inside.

The only thing Lu Yang didn't understand was, what is ethereal stone?

Without ethereal stone, the Void Anchor Station is just a piece of scrap paper.

As for the Guide Beacon, Lu Yang could build it immediately.

In the Xinhuo Train's resource warehouse, there is currently one tier 4 cloud mica and one tier 3 cloud mica. The tier 4 one needs to be reserved for building the [Flame Jet Hover Wheel], while the tier 3 one can be used to build the Guide Beacon.

As for subsequent upgrades, that's not something to think about for a while.

Unless Lu Yang can obtain more surplus cloud mica.

A tier 1 Guide Beacon can automatically generate 10 guide passes daily. Each guide pass can receive a maximum of 3 people, meaning in an extreme scenario, it can receive 30 people.

But that's under the most ideal circumstances.

However, this thing is better than nothing anyway.

The Xinhuo Train currently has tens of thousands of people, so a few extra won't make much difference.

After sorting out the basic rewards from the exploration secret realm, Lu Yang rubbed his hands and opened another box.

It contained the completion rewards for the [Secret Realm Lockdown] quest.

500 Civilization Points were a fixed reward, and the tier 4 resource treasure chest contained 10,000 units each of three types of tier 4 resources. Lu Yang didn't have high expectations for the orange quality vehicle blueprint or anything, but he was very eager to see what kind of blind box the so-called special reward would yield, perhaps another Miniature Mine (Permanent).

Substitute Puppet

Level: Orange

Type: Special Item

Effect: After the user drips a drop of essence blood, it can substitute for death once when encountering an irresistible fatal attack.

?

There's such an item?

Doesn't that mean he has an extra life?

Looking at the blank doll without a face, Lu Yang immediately bit his finger and dripped a drop of essence blood onto it.

Instantly, a feeling of bloodline connection came over him.

And the blank doll, which originally had no face, gradually transformed into Lu Yang's appearance.

Putting away the Substitute Puppet, Lu Yang casually picked up the last reward, an orange quality vehicle blueprint.

At first glance, he didn't find anything special, but after reading it carefully and considering the existing forces on the Xinhuo Train, he suddenly trembled all over.

Brain-Computer Interface Login Pod Production Line Blueprint

Level: orange quality

Construction Cost: 500 units of tier 3 iron ore, 500 units of tier 3 copper.

Construction Effect: Can produce Brain-Computer Interface Login Pods capable of logging into clone bodies or unmanned machinery. With the Login Pod, unmanned machinery or clone bodies can be remotely controlled.

Currently, the Xinhuo Train only has drones as unmanned machinery, nothing else.

Clone bodies, if Lu Yang understood correctly, should refer to the cloned organisms from sci-fi movies, which require clone pods to produce.

And the Xinhuo Train also doesn't have clone pods.

However, the Xinhuo Train now has an even more formidable existence—Lu Yang's Zerg Swarm Lord avatar.

The standard Zerg it produces are almost identical. If a Brain-Computer Interface Login Pod could be used to link their minds, and then the Magic Net Core used as a medium to allow passengers on the Xinhuo Train to remotely control them, wouldn't the combat efficiency be much higher than simply using low-tier Zerg as cannon fodder?

Even if they die in battle, it would only be the loss of a low-tier combat Zerg beast body.

If armor, rifles, and man-portable rocket launchers were also installed on the Zerg bodies...

Oh my goodness, Lu Yang felt excited just thinking about it.

A cyberpunk mechanical war beast legion?!

The key is that the resource consumption for such combat power is much lower than simply using artillery, machine guns, etc.!

The resources used to produce Zerg beasts can be obtained through recycling biomass from corpses.

For Zerg beasts that die in battle, as long as their bodies can be recovered, not missing arms or legs, the recovery rate can reach at least 80%, which is why the Zerg grow stronger in resource-consuming wars.

And now, these have become advantages that Lu Yang can utilize.

No sooner said than done.

Lu Yang immediately chose to build the Brain-Computer Interface Login Pod production line, and then ordered the Zerg Lord avatar to breed a batch of low-tier Raptors.

After completing all of this, Lu Yang had Xiao Xin release a version update announcement in Wasteland Online.

Next, it's time for practice to reveal the truth!
