140: Cornerstone, Divine Grace Execution, and Iron-Sworn Vanguard

Due to the sudden appearance of the Civilization Pioneer mission, Lu Yang slightly altered Liu Lei's original task arrangements.

"Liu Lei, I'll handle the preliminary mission later; you stay on the side to provide support and watch out for any escaping bugs."

Every Raptor was a Civilization Point, and Lu Yang didn't want Liu Lei to interfere.

At the same time, he could use this opportunity to showcase the Xinhuo Train's strength.

This was to prevent his newly recruited subordinate from being overly anxious, especially after a simple preliminary mission had made his face change drastically.

After Lu Yang entered the predetermined strategic target, Xiao Xin, who had become highly intelligent and exceptionally powerful after being fed countless raw data, quickly presented three plans based on the Xinhuo Train's current combat capabilities.

After reviewing them, Lu Yang decided on Plan Three.

This plan primarily utilized ground personnel as the main fighting force, complemented by drone support and long-range fire support.

Although it might result in some combat personnel casualties, it offered the highest resource utilization efficiency, the lowest resource loss rate, and, more importantly, allowed for troop training.

After multiple rounds of expansion, the Train Police Squad now had an official roster of 1,500 people.

They were divided into three combat detachments: Cornerstone Pillars, Divine Grace Executors, and Iron Vow Vanguards.

The Cornerstone Pillars were the most common combat personnel, with four-dimensional attributes around 11. They were the most numerous, with 1,300 people. Each had undergone professional combat skills training, and their average combat literacy, after evaluation, was all above A. They could skillfully use all types of weapons currently available on the Xinhuo Train and had one to two cold weapon proficiencies.

An A-grade rating corresponded to professional soldiers in the Train World before the apocalypse, though only in terms of basic combat literacy.

Training in the Magic Net Core was no different from real training, and they were tireless, maintaining sustained enthusiasm for training. By completing Xiao Xin's tiered and reasonable training missions, they could master the necessary combat skills and develop combat effectiveness in the shortest possible time.

Their biggest difference from professional soldiers might be their troop coordination and combat will.

Troop coordination could be intelligently micro-managed by Xiao Xin in real-time based on the Heavenly-based Early Warning Sphere's reconnaissance.

But combat will was another matter.

After all, few teams could compare to the Red Army of Lu Yang's Blue Star before his transmigration.

Without sufficient baptism of blood and fire, and knowing what they were fighting for,

most people would collapse and flee in the face of a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood.

So, this time, Lu Yang intended to use this opportunity to let the Xinhuo Train's basic armed force, the Cornerstone Pillars Detachment, truly experience combat.

Compared to the Cornerstone Pillars Detachment, the other two detachments, the Divine Grace Executors Detachment and the Iron Vow Vanguards Detachment, were much stronger in both combat power and combat will.

The Divine Grace Executors were the one hundred Einherjar Guards from Rui Ran, Train Captain of Ghost Princess. There were both male and female, but each was incredibly loyal to Lu Yang, the kind who would immediately and unhesitatingly die if Lu Yang asked them to.

When they first underwent Heroic Spirit transformation, their Strength, Agility, and Constitution were only 12, and their Spirit attribute was 13.

But after Lu Yang's cultivation, their highest Spirit attribute could now average 15, and their Strength, Agility, and Constitution averaged 13.

A 15-point Spirit attribute generated extremely powerful holy energy. With its enhancement, even when using ordinary flintlock rifles, the Einherjar Guards' power was 70% greater than when used by ordinary people.

If used by a Heroic Spirit Archer, not only would the power be greater, but the range would also be doubled, making them incredibly formidable.

And the cold weapons used by Heroic Spirit Warriors had even greater power than those of Heroic Spirit Archers.

They were Lu Yang's trump card force.

The Iron Vow Vanguards Detachment was an elite force selected from the tens of thousands of people currently on the Xinhuo Train, chosen from the best of the best.

Each of them was naturally tall and strong-boned. After using multiple Constitution-boosting potions, none were shorter than two meters, and their Constitution and Strength were all above 15 points.

Moreover, what they were most skilled at using was not ordinary firearms, but heavy weapons averaging 50 kilograms, such as great axes, war hammers, and long lances.

When fighting, each person would wear a specialized battle armor built on a 10-level civilian mechanical exoskeleton, with a thick layer of cold steel welded on top.

They looked like round iron barrels.

Their movement speed was also not very fast.

However, as long as they stood there, they were a moving city wall.

This was something Lu Yang had specifically prepared for the Civilization Pioneer advancement mission.

The team leader was the exceptionally talented Wang Iron Hammer.

After donning his battle armor, he could still hold a heavy square shield in his left hand and a long-handled war hammer in his right.

In Sifang County, the Xinhuo Train once encountered a three-meter-tall, one-ton, level-six mutated black bear.

Lu Yang, craving its meat and fearing that the autocannon would turn the bear into minced meat, sent Wang Iron Hammer to deal with it, also using the opportunity to test Wang Iron Hammer's combat prowess.

Who knew that this fellow was even more like a mutated black bear than the actual mutated black bear? He wielded a massive square shield, directly taking on the mutated black bear's enormous paw attacks, then smashed the bear's brain to a pulp with one hammer blow.

Under Wang Iron Hammer's war hammer, three layers of the same-level train's iron armor would be deeply dented with a spiderweb-like pattern.

Thus, Wang Iron Hammer became the most admired person among the Iron Vow Vanguard warriors, who had also grown stronger as they grew bald.
