84: Large-scale medicine refining

"Senior Brother Shi's understanding of Medicinal Pills isn't as profound as Junior Brother Qin's. Since Junior Brother Qin is confident, we'll naturally proceed as Junior Brother Qin wishes.

I'm not sure what kind of cooperation Junior Brother Qin needs from my side for Medicine Refining, but whatever Junior Brother Qin requests, I will grant it without fail."

Hearing Senior Brother Shi's promise, Qin Yue didn't stand on ceremony with him.

"Regarding medicinal ingredients, I'll write out the Pill Formula for Senior Brother Shi in a moment. The more Senior Brother Shi can prepare, the better.

As for other things, just prepare an Alchemy Room for me.

This Alchemy Room can be located in the Demon Slayer Division for now; find a place as large as possible. In the future, it would be best to rebuild it in a place with abundant ground fire.

Then, gather all the Alchemy Furnaces you can find and place them in the Alchemy Room.

Equip each Alchemy Furnace with two obedient and hardworking strong men to help me tend the fires."

After hearing Qin Yue's requests, Senior Brother Shi gave out all the orders.

While preparations were underway, Senior Brother Shi arranged a room for Qin Yue in the Demon Slayer Division and gave Qin Yue the position of Alchemy Hall Master.

Qin Yue didn't care about the position itself.

The three of them came to this Small World to complete a mission; any power here was fleeting and would dissipate once they returned to the Holy Sect.

Although Senior Brother Shi's Demon Slayer Division hadn't been established for long, its actions were truly swift, likely due to capable personnel provided by the imperial family.

Just as Qin Yue finished eating, Senior Brother Shi informed him that the Alchemy Room had been set up according to his requirements, but this Alchemy Room was not within the Demon Slayer Division, because the Demon Slayer Division was originally a converted old fortress of a prince and did not have a place as large as Qin Yue requested.

So Senior Brother Shi found a place for Qin Yue outside the Demon Slayer Division.

Qin Yue followed Senior Brother Shi out of the Demon Slayer Division, turned left, and arrived at the Imperial Palace gate.

Seeing Senior Brother Shi walk straight in, Qin Yue wasn't surprised but followed Senior Brother Shi into the Imperial Palace.

Due to their increased strength, the imperial family of this Small World was not really regarded highly by Qin Yue and his two Senior Brothers.

It was just using the Emperor's place for Medicine Refining; he wasn't going to blow it up, so what was there to be surprised about!

Thinking this, Qin Yue followed Senior Brother Shi along the main gate and walked into the Imperial Palace's main hall.

Looking at the Alchemy Furnaces filling the main hall of the Imperial Palace, Qin Yue fell silent.

He had underestimated Senior Brother Shi; he really hadn't expected Senior Brother Shi to actually occupy the Emperor's court.

Qin Yue had thought that no matter how much Senior Brother Shi looked down on the imperial family, he would at most occupy a side hall, but he hadn't expected him to be so arrogant.

Shi Qianjun saw Qin Yue standing at the entrance of the main hall, somewhat dazed, and guessed what Junior Brother Qin was thinking.

"Junior Brother Qin, don't misunderstand; Senior Brother Shi isn't that overbearing.

This is a place that the imperial family actively offered after hearing you needed as large a place as possible for Medicine Refining.

The imperial family's desire to eliminate Yao Race is even more urgent than yours or mine, because the previous dynasty was wiped out by demons.

If it weren't for the founding ancestor of this dynasty achieving a Breakthrough to the Ninggang Realm and directly defeating the Yao Race's Yao King of this world, then the entire world would have long been the domain of demons."

Qin Yue nodded after hearing this. He had indeed not considered this aspect before. He had thought that the imperial family of this world were like the good-for-nothings in his previous life's history, only caring about their own power and completely disregarding the survival of the nation.

Knowing the full story, Qin Yue no longer dwelled on the location of the Alchemy Room.

Seeing two military-uniformed strong men on each side of every Alchemy Furnace, Qin Yue knew that Senior Brother Shi had arranged everything properly and was just waiting for him to begin Medicine Refining.

"Since Senior Brother Shi has prepared everything, then Junior Brother Qin will begin Medicine Refining today. Tomorrow, Senior Brother Shi can send someone to collect the Medicinal Pills."

After speaking, Qin Yue cupped his hands to Senior Brother Shi, walked to the neatly categorized medicinal ingredients, and began to inspect each one's quality.

Shi Qianjun saw that Junior Brother Qin had already started Medicine Refining and said no more, leaving a young man who had been following him in the Imperial Palace's main hall.

"You will guard here, always obey Junior Martial Uncle Qin's orders, and assist Junior Martial Uncle Qin in Medicine Refining. Try your best to satisfy any requests Junior Martial Uncle Qin has. If there's anything difficult, come find me, no matter how late. Understood?"

Having given his instructions, Shi Qianjun didn't even greet Qin Yue. He glanced at the busy Qin Yue, turned, and walked out of the Imperial Palace's main hall.

Qin Yue was currently immersed in the process of inspecting the medicinal ingredients and didn't pay attention to Senior Brother Shi's departure. Once all the medicinal ingredients were inspected, Qin Yue already had a clear idea of how to refine the Medicine.

He walked to the two Alchemy Furnaces closest to him and ordered the soldiers on either side of the Alchemy Furnaces to light the fires.

Once the flame temperature reached the standard, Qin Yue extended two Protective Aura threads from his hands, picked out two portions of the medicinal ingredients he had just selected, and put them into the two Alchemy Furnaces respectively.

More Protective Aura threads were put into the Alchemy Furnaces, and Qin Yue began Medicine Refining.

It didn't take long before the lids of the two Alchemy Furnaces opened simultaneously, and waves of medicinal fragrance wafted out.

Without even looking, just by smelling the scent, Qin Yue knew that his two batches of Blood Replenishing Powder were successfully refined.

This Blood Replenishing Powder was the first Medicinal Pill he learned after studying Medicine Refining. Qin Yue had long memorized the refining process, so there wouldn't be any problems, of course.

This experiment had two purposes: first, Qin Yue wanted to know if Protective Aura threads could replace Blood Qi to control Medicine Refining remotely, and second, Qin Yue wanted to test the impact of completely letting the System manage Medicine Refining on the finished product.

Comparing the two types of medicinal powder, Qin Yue found that the Blood Replenishing Powder refined with the System's automated control was indeed not as effective as the Medicine Qin Yue personally refined.

The reason was actually very simple: the firepower and medicinal ingredients for each batch were slightly different. When Qin Yue personally refined the Medicine, he could fine-tune the Alchemy process based on these differences, making both the yield and efficacy more excellent.

But even so, automated Medicine Refining was sufficient; the produced Blood Replenishing Powder was no less than that refined by an average Alchemist.

Since it had this effect, Qin Yue felt relieved.

Qin Yue walked to the very front of the Imperial Palace's main hall, sat on the Emperor's Dragon throne, and shouted, "Light the fires!"

Blazing flames rose beneath all the Alchemy Furnaces.

Innumerable transparent threads flew from Qin Yue's hands, first dividing the medicinal ingredients into portions, and then, according to the size of the Alchemy Furnaces, putting these medicinal ingredients into each Alchemy Furnace.

Qin Yue opened the System, selected 'auto-mode', and selected 'Medicine Refining'.

The Protective Aura threads extending from Qin Yue's body directly entered each Alchemy Furnace, and all the Alchemy Furnaces began Medicine Refining simultaneously.

Once everything was arranged, Qin Yue's own consciousness only needed to observe his own condition. If he felt his Protective Aura consumption was too high, he would take Medicine. If he felt tired, Qin Yue's own consciousness would rest for a while.

A night passed~

By dawn, Senior Brother Shi arrived at the Alchemy Room and saw that the Medicine Refining in the Alchemy Room had stopped, and the soldiers he had arranged had all left.

Only Qin Yue himself was in the entire main hall, inspecting one Alchemy Furnace after another.

"Is Junior Brother Qin overly tired from Medicine Refining?

Junior Brother Qin should be resting; why did you let them all go back?"
