170: Chapter 170 Goodbye
The massive fleet tore through the sky, its enormous shadow sweeping rapidly across the mountains and rivers below.
The leading light-chasing moon ship was particularly striking; the crystal tower at its bow flowed with cold moonlight, and its mirage-like force field made it appear dreamlike and illusory.
Ling Hao stood at the bow, his dark robes snapping in the gale.

Main Quest Completed: Establish a Branch Sect.
Once matters in Cangmu Kingdom are settled, the task of establishing the branch Sect will need to be put on the agenda; it would be best for me to make a trip there myself.
Ling Hao lowered his head, his gaze piercing through the clouds and landing on the mountain gate of Liuyun Temple below. There, two slender figures were clearly visible.
Liuyun Temple, mountain gate.
Liu Sisi, dressed in a long dress with a gradient of blue and red, looked up at the massive fleet that obscured nearly half the sky, her heart beating faster involuntarily.
Unlike the noisy crowds in Liuling City, there was only the whistling of the mountain wind here. The massive leviathan cast a deep shadow, enveloping the entire Liuyun Temple; that silent sense of oppression was even greater than the clamor in the city.
When Liu Sisi clearly saw that familiar dark figure at the ship's bow, gratitude and a trace of warmth instantly welled up in her eyes.
He had come! And he had come in person, bringing such a terrifying fleet!
He could have sent a general, or even just a single decree. But he had come himself, coming for the sake of her deep blood feud.
Liu Sisi's lips curled slightly, forming a complex yet relieved smile.
'Teaching Xia Yingying for him can be considered returning a favor. I believe the "knowledge" that little girl has learned will surely give him a "surprise" in the future,' she thought to herself, turning her gaze to the side.
Beside her, Xia Yingying was excitedly waving vigorously at the fleet in the sky, her little face flushed with excitement.
Looking at her innocent appearance, Liu Sisi's previous thoughts dissipated into thin air.
'It can't be considered guilt, right?' she thought, shifting her perspective. 'Yingying... she clearly likes her Revered Master very much, after all. I just... gave her a little bit of early enlightenment, that's all.'
Watching her Revered Master's figure on the bow of the ship, Xia Yingying instinctively wanted to rush forward to greet him, but her feet stopped just as she lifted them.
During her time at Liuyun Temple, Yue Xinxi's "reprimands" and Liu Sisi's "teachings" had ultimately allowed her to vaguely touch upon certain boundaries; she was no longer that ignorant little girl.
When facing her Revered Master, more shyness and strange palpitations quietly sprouted in the depths of her heart.
The fleet slowly descended, hovering above the mountain gate of Liuyun Temple. Ling Hao's figure flashed, and he appeared before the two of them.
"Revered Master!"
Ling Hao habitually reached out to pat her head. Xia Yingying subconsciously shrank back slightly, but immediately stopped, standing obediently in place and allowing the warm, large hand to rest on top of her head.
"Have you learned anything during these days at Liuyun Temple?" Ling Hao asked in a gentle tone.
"Yes!"
Xia Yingying nodded vigorously. "Senior Sister Sisi taught me a lot of cultivation insights for the Foundation Establishment and Golden Core Realms, and also..."
Her little face suddenly flushed red, and her voice became quieter and quieter, almost like a mosquito's buzz. "...And some other knowledge... but... but these can only be told to Revered Master alone when we return..."
Ling Hao looked at her shy yet earnest expression, and the smile in his eyes deepened. "Very well."
He then looked at Liu Sisi, who was standing to the side, and said briefly, "Come aboard."
Liu Sisi nodded slightly, took Xia Yingying's hand, and followed Ling Hao into the air, while under the shocked gazes of the Liuyun Temple Disciples and Elders.
...
On the light-chasing moon ship.
Liu Sisi led Xia Yingying onto the deck, and immediately saw the five figures of varying grace standing behind Ling Hao.
Chi Wanhe and the other four women greeted Liu Sisi one by one.
There were no cold stares or criticisms as she had expected; the greetings were either distant, scrutinizing, or polite, but Liu Sisi still secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
She maintained a proper smile on her face and bowed slightly to the five women in return. "Liu Sisi of Liuyun Temple greets you, Fellow Daoists."
After Chi Wanhe and the others finished their greetings and exchanged pleasantries, their attention shifted to Xia Yingying.
Ling Hao looked at Liu Sisi. "It will still take some time to reach Cangmu Kingdom. Shall I arrange a separate quiet room for you, or..." His gaze swept over Xia Yingying, who was surrounded by the five Senior Sisters.
"I want to live with Senior Sister Sisi!" Xia Yingying, who was over there, seemed to have heard Ling Hao's words and immediately chimed in.
Ling Hao nodded. "Very well. Then the two of you shall share a cabin."
"Yingying cannot get away right now, so I will have a Disciple take you there first."
Ling Hao swept his gaze and happened to see a Disciple dressed in blue-purple robes.
"Baifeng!"
Zhang Baifeng ran over happily.
"Sect Master!"
Ling Hao smiled and pointed at Liu Sisi.
"This is the Temple Revered Master of Liuyun Temple. Take her to the rest cabin."
Zhang Baifeng glanced at Liu Sisi, and instantly understood something.
"Temple Master Liu, please come with me."
Liu Sisi bowed slightly to Ling Hao and the five Disciples behind him once more, then followed Zhang Baifeng off the deck.
