421: Chapter 421 I really want to spank you guys.

White Rock Holy Land, Main Peak Hall.

Shi Qingxuan sat in the main seat, her black and white deep garment accentuating her mountain-like stature. Behind her, Shen Yunjie, Cen Xi, and Jiang Shiyu stood in attendance—one steady, one lively, and one cold.

On the right side of the hall, the Ji Faction Elders, led by Ji Wujiu, stood with stiff expressions, looking like they had swallowed bitter herbs but couldn't spit out the bile.

In the sky outside the hall, nine streaks of light pierced through the clouds and landed directly in front of the hall.

Besides the six including Chi Wanhe, the two figures at the very front were particularly eye-catching.

Tushan Bailing wore a deep purple Palace Dress, her hair adorned with Fox-tail Flowers. Her eyes held a natural charm, and her skirt swayed gently as she walked, as if every step landed right on one's heartstrings.

Chi Shuying wore a pink Cloud Flowing Skirt that fully displayed her curvaceous figure; her face was gentle yet possessed an inviolable majesty.

The nine landed and took their seats in order on the left side.

Shi Qingxuan stood up and nodded slightly, her voice clear and resonant: "Fellow Daoist Tushan, Fellow Daoist Chi, you have had a long journey. Your arrival from afar brings great honor to our White Rock Holy Land."

Chi Shuying replied with a light smile, "Sect Master Shi is too polite."

Shi Qingxuan turned her gaze to the right and raised her hand to indicate:

"This is our Holy Land's Grand Elder, Ji Wujiu. Grand Elder, these two are Moonshadow Sect's Supreme Elder Tushan and Sect Master Chi."

Ji Wujiu forced a smile, stepped forward, and cupped his hands in greeting.

Chi Shuying and Tushan Bailing nodded in acknowledgment. Suddenly, the two exchanged a look.

In the next instant, a pressure belonging to the Mahayana Stage surged out like a tide, pressing directly toward the opposite side!

The pressure was as vast as a mountain; the candles in the hall dimmed all at once, and the air seemed to freeze. Ji Wujiu and the others' faces turned pale instantly, cold sweat dripping from their foreheads, yet they were forced to bow and say with trembling voices:

"Welcome... welcome to the two Supremes."

Ji Wujiu spoke respectfully while harboring secret resentment, yet his face was piled with smiles: "With the two of you presiding, the True Demon Realm is nothing to worry about."

The Ji Faction Elders behind him echoed his words, each of their faces turning ashen from suppressed frustration, yet they were too afraid to speak out.

Tushan Bailing gave a light laugh, her fox-like eyes turning up slightly: "Elder Ji certainly knows how to talk. It's just that I heard... someone wanted to find trouble with my Moonshadow Sect before?"

Ji Wujiu's cold sweat poured down as he said repeatedly, "We wouldn't dare, we wouldn't dare."

Since the Old Ancestor wasn't here, it was best to submit.

Chi Shuying's gaze swept over the Ji Faction members as she said indifferently, "I hope so."

The atmosphere in the hall was extremely subtle. Ji Wujiu looked at Shi Qingxuan and saw her sitting calmly in the main seat with no intention of speaking, which made him even more furious.

At that moment, hurried footsteps came from outside the hall.

"Report—"

A messenger Disciple rushed into the hall, knelt on one knee, and said urgently:

"Large-scale spatial fluctuations have been detected in the direction of the Cangyuan Main Rift. It is suspected that the main force of the True Demon Realm is gathering!"

The atmosphere in the hall changed abruptly.

Everyone looked at each other; panic flashed in the eyes of the Ji Faction Elders, some whispered, and some turned deathly pale.

After some time, everyone filed out in front of the Sect Main Hall.

Shi Qingxuan turned back, her gaze like a blade stabbing directly at Ji Wujiu:

"Grand Elder, during my absence, the Holy Land will be temporarily managed by you. If anyone takes advantage of the chaos to cause trouble—"

She paused, her voice as cold as ice, "Do not blame this seat for showing no mercy."

Ji Wujiu bowed, his tone submissive: "Sect Master, please rest assured."

Shi Qingxuan secretly transmitted her voice to the two Undergoing Tribulation Supreme Elders behind her, Supreme Elder Lu Yao and Supreme Elder Zhou Zhi:

"Keep a close eye on the Ji Family. If there is any movement, you may join forces with the Moonshadow Sect; there is no need for mercy."

The two nodded imperceptibly.

Shi Qingxuan turned to face Tushan Bailing and Chi Shuying, cupping her hands: "This journey is dangerous. I must trouble the two of you."

Chi Shuying's expression was calm as she returned the gesture: "Between allies, this is only right. Sect Master Shi, there is no need for such politeness."

Tushan Bailing also nodded with a smile.

The three transformed into streaks of light and disappeared into the horizon.

The crowd in the hall gradually dispersed.

Under the corridor of the side hall, Ji Mitai stood with his hands behind his back, watching the direction Shi Qingxuan and the others had left, a flash of crimson light disappearing in the depths of his eyes.

He took out a blood-colored Jade Slip and murmured in a low voice:

"Master, Shi Qingxuan has left the sect, accompanied by the two Supremes of the Moonshadow Sect. Only a few Undergoing Tribulation Elders remain in the Holy Land. The Protective Sect Array..."

A low laugh came from the Jade Slip, like a chill crawling out from the depths of the Nine Serenities:

"Well done. When Yan Gang Demon Ancestor's army arrives at the border, it will be the time for the White Rock Holy Land's destruction."

Ji Mitai put away the Jade Slip and looked toward the distant horizon.

Dark clouds were quietly obscuring the sun, and an ominous silence filled the world.

Deep in the Demon Forest, ancient trees reached for the sky, and vines wound around them like snakes.

Sunlight filtered through the layers of leaves, casting mottled shadows. The air was filled with a strange scent of decaying leaves mixed with erosion qi.

Three little girls stood together, staring nervously at the uninvited guest in front of them.

Jin Linger stood at the front, her purple hair falling over her shoulders, her vertical pupils full of wariness. Her small face was cold and elegant, her lips pressed tight. Her dark purple short skirt reached her knees, the cuffs embroidered with fine scale patterns, and a ring of small golden scales shimmered slightly at her ankles, radiating a "don't come near" aura.

You Ruo hid behind Jin Linger, a pair of fluffy tiger ears standing up amidst her silver hair. Her gaze was fiercely cute, her small tiger fangs biting her lower lip; she was trembling all over yet forced herself to hold her ground.

She wore a black and white striped short skirt, with a fluffy tail tip peeking out from under the voluminous hem. Wearing small tiger-head boots, she looked like a little kitten with its fur standing on end.

Hua Lian stood at the very back, her long pink hair draped over her shoulders with a small flower tucked in it, looking gentle and quiet.

Her light pink short skirt was adorned with petal-shaped decorations, and a faint fragrance drifted from her body, like a flower bud just beginning to bloom in spring.

Ling Hao looked at these three little ones, his heart roaring.

They're so damn cute, I really want to rua them!!!

He crouched down to eye level with them, his tone gentle: "Don't be afraid, I'm not a bad person."

As he spoke, Ling Hao took out a jade bottle, "This is Sheng-Sheng Creation Spring. It's very tasty. Do you want some?"

The three little ones shook their heads in unison, their movements as synchronized as if they had rehearsed.

Ling Hao's outstretched hand paused, and he turned to hand it to the woman in the black dress nearby:

"Drink it. It will be good for your injuries."

Mo Shuang hesitated for a moment before taking the jade bottle and drinking. As the Sheng-Sheng Creation Spring entered her throat, a warm current surged through her entire body, and her wounds actually healed at a rate visible to the naked eye.

Surprise flashed in her eyes, and she cupped her fists: "Thank you, Senior."

Ling Hao waved his hand and took out several clumps of fluffy, cloud-like, translucent candy. The sweet fragrance of the Lingwu Cloud Silk Candy diffused through the air, looking like a crystallization of marshmallows and spiritual mist, radiating an enticing luster.

This was made by Yu Lingshuang, and it was perfect to use now...

Ling Hao held out the candy to the three little ones and smiled: "Here, why don't you try this?"

This time, the three little ones retreated a step back in unison.

Jin Linger said coldly, "No."

Hua Lian sniffed lightly and said in a small voice, "He... doesn't seem to have any malice."

This was her Innate Talent, the ability to sense the goodwill and malice of others. In Hua Lian's perception, the man before them felt warm, like winter sunlight without a hint of gloom.

You Ruo widened her eyes, staring intently at the Lingwu Cloud Silk Candy.

Though her mouth said no, her eyes were very honest.

Shi Yunyu stepped forward, crouched down, and said warmly, "Come, come to Auntie."

The thick and calm maternal glow she naturally exuded made the three little ones unconsciously move forward a few steps, as if they had found a safe harbor.

Ling Hao shrugged helplessly and handed the candy to Shi Yunyu.

Shi Yunyu took them, and before she could even hand them out, she met three pairs of longing gazes.

Those eyes looked like little kittens that hadn't eaten for three days seeing dried fish, eager and pitiful.

She smiled slightly and handed the candies to them.

The three little ones immediately reached out to take them and stuffed them into their mouths.

You Ruo was the fastest, her eyes lighting up as her small tiger fangs happily crunched the candy, licking her lips: "Delicious..."

Although Jin Linger didn't speak, the wariness in her vertical pupils clearly softened. Hua Lian ate in small bites, a sweet smile appearing on her face.

Ling Hao slapped his forehead and feigned anger: "You didn't want what I gave you, but you take it when someone else gives it. I really want to spank your butts!"

The three little ones were so scared they shrank behind Shi Yunyu, poking their small heads out to glare at him with eyes that were both fierce and fearful—it was incredibly cute.

Shi Yunyu smiled and gave Ling Hao a consoling look.

Yue Xinxi's voice sounded in Ling Hao's mind, carrying a bit of teasing:

"Sect Master, you don't actually have designs on them, do you?"

Ling Hao glared; this girl's sharp-tongued attribute was acting up again. He transmitted back: "Is your skin itching again? It seems you're asking for a beating..."

Yue Xinxi's face turned red, seemingly thinking of something, and she turned her head away, no longer looking at him.

Mo Shuang took the candy Ling Hao handed her and whispered her thanks.

She didn't mind. After all, the person before her was at the Mahayana Stage; if he wanted to kill her, he wouldn't need to go to all this trouble.

Moreover, that Sheng-Sheng Creation Spring was indeed a healing Saint Grade item; such goodwill could not be faked.

The deeper they went into the Demon Forest, the denser the ancient trees became and the dimmer the light grew. The concentration of erosion qi in the air slowly rose, and the decaying leaves beneath their feet made rustling sounds.

As they walked, Ling Hao suddenly stopped in front of an ancient tree.

It was unknown how many years the tree had lived; its trunk was as thick as a house, and its roots were exposed on the surface, winding like snakes. Ling Hao's fingertips flickered with spiritual light as he quickly carved several runes into the exposed roots, then clapped his hands: "Let's go."

Mo Shuang asked in confusion: "Senior, that was..."

Ling Hao smiled: "Just a little gadget, it might be useful later."

Yue Xinxi and Shi Yunyu were already used to this.

Every once in a while, he seemed to do some casual "graffiti." As for what use it had, they never asked.

As long as he liked it, it was fine.

The three little ones looked back, only to see the runes flash and vanish into the roots.

You Ruo blinked and whispered, "What is he doing?"

Jin Linger shook her head.

Hua Lian said softly, "I don't know... but it shouldn't be a bad thing."
