200: Chapter 200 The Moon Shines Brightly Over the Sea, Pearls Weep

Nanzhao Kingdom, Fourth Grade.

In the wilderness, a figure in a black robe appeared.

Ling Hao looked up, his sword-like brows tightly furrowed.

A massive "cross-shaped scar" tore through the clouds for ten thousand miles, spanning across the firmament, twisted and hideous.

At the edges, spatial fragments peeled off like shattered colored glaze, floating and flickering with chaotic luster. These fragments were like twisted mirrors, reflecting the scene on the other side of the rift — a corner of the True Demon Realm.

Through those flickering light fragments, Ling Hao saw lava wastelands; saw deep blue ice fields; saw countless hideous demonic creatures gathering into a black torrent in the extremely harsh environment, surging in all directions.

Low-level Devil Kings were dense like an ant colony, mid-level Demonic Lords had Devilish Qi churning around them, and there were even Demon Saints (Body Integration Stage) exuding monstrous auras supervising the formation, and even several imposing figures...

"Devil Emperors (Void Refinement Stage)?"

This Southeast Main Rift was far larger in scale than the secondary rifts he had cleared before, but its state was extremely unstable. It was like a giant python that hadn't fully broken through, having only opened a part of its blood-red maw.

According to what Ling Hao knew, a true, complete Main Rift should be three times this size right now, presenting a more terrifying cross-shaped scar.

It was precisely because of its "unfinished" state that violent spatial turbulence and Law barriers filled it, making it impossible for either matter or energy to pass through stably, forming a temporary stalemate.

Therefore, Ling Hao had only set up a few monitoring array points and teleportation arrays here, so he could descend to this place at any time.

His gaze continued to sweep over those flickering fragments. Suddenly, Ling Hao's gaze locked onto one of the larger fragments.

What that fragment reflected was a very high Demonic Cloud Throne deep within the True Demon Realm army. On the throne sat a Demon Race member with an extremely burly figure. He was covered from head to toe in dark golden hideous bone armor, with knotted giant horns on his head, and his eyes were tightly closed.

Just at the moment Ling Hao focused his observation, the burly Demon Race member on the throne suddenly opened his tightly closed eyes.

Two dark golden gazes, as if crossing endless Void Realm, pierced through the chaotic fragment barrier and collided with Ling Hao's gaze.

Ling Hao's eyes narrowed suddenly, dark light swirling deep within his pupils.

The spatial fragments fluctuated violently, and the scene reflecting the burly Demon Race member instantly blurred and twisted, finally being replaced by another scene of a lava wasteland.

True Demon Realm, Demonic Cloud Throne.

"Lord Tai Huang, what are you looking at?"

Below the throne, a standing Devil Emperor keenly noticed the momentary anomaly of the Lord above the throne and respectfully asked.

The burly Demon Race member known as "Tai Huang" slowly withdrew his gaze, his dark golden pupils as deep as an abyss, his low voice like two pieces of divine gold rubbing together:

"It's nothing."

He slowly closed his eyes.

An illusion?

...Nanzhao City · Quiet Courtyard.

Qin Zhaoxue, Du Yuqing, Lu Changning, and Lin Xiwei, the four women, sat around a stone table in the courtyard.

Lu Changning held a teacup, looking toward the courtyard gate.

"Have Eldest Senior Sister and Junior Sister not arrived yet?"

"Perhaps they were delayed on the way."

Beside her, Lin Xiwei replied with a calm expression. And Qin Zhaoxue, who was close to her, gently twisted a wisp of thin gauze with her fingertips, whispering to herself.

"Pearls have tears in the vast sea..."

Du Yuqing leaned against the back of the chair, her black dress making her figure look as straight as a pine, remaining silent.

Lu Changning nodded, then was attracted by that soft light and asked curiously:

"Second Senior Sister, what were you reciting just now, and what are you holding in your hand? It's so beautiful."

In the sunset glow, the gauze in Qin Zhaoxue's hand shimmered with rippling waves, as if a piece of flowing seawater had been cut out.

Qin Zhaoxue smiled, gently spreading the gauze on her fingertips: "This is 'Moonlight Shark Silk' from the Nanhai Merfolk Race. It doesn't get wet when it meets water, doesn't get stained by dust, and has excellent elasticity."

Hearing this, Lin Xiwei's cold eyes fell on the shark silk, then she lowered her head to look at the cuffs of her own moon-white shark silk dress:

"Shark silk? It seems... different from the one I'm wearing?"

"Naturally different," Qin Zhaoxue explained, "Ordinary shark silk is beautiful, but it lacks this miraculous effect. This Moonlight Shark Silk is as thin as a cicada's wing. Moreover, its elasticity... tsk tsk, it can wrap a person tightly..."

She paused, a hint of playfulness flashing in her eyes, "It makes the parts that should protrude more prominent, and the parts that should be perky more perky, yet it's so thin it feels like a second layer of skin..."

Lu Changning immediately understood the implication, and her fair earlobes were quietly stained with a pink hue. She asked in a low voice: "Second Senior Sister, what are you looking for this material for?"

Qin Zhaoxue blinked, threw her an "you know" look, and smiled: "What else could it be for? Stockings, of course. The important thing is to... wear them for Revered Master to see! Think about it, Moonlight Shark Silk doesn't get wet in water... hmm, wouldn't it be... indescribably wonderful in certain situations? Little Changning, weren't you thinking the same thing just now?"

Lu Changning's little face turned even redder, and she mumbled.

"I... I think making it into a light gauze inner garment would also... be very good, hazy and dim, half-hidden and half-revealed, Revered Master... should really like this kind of elusive style."

"Yo, as expected, little Changning really understands, it seems you haven't practiced little."

Qin Zhaoxue said with a smile.

"However, Fourth Junior Sister, you won't do. A light gauze inner garment is best for Third Junior Sister."

Hearing this, Lu Changning immediately showed a look of confusion. When she followed Qin Zhaoxue's gaze and landed on the two unreachable mountain peaks on Du Yuqing's body, her face collapsed.

"Second Senior Sister, you are bullying me..."

Du Yuqing's expression didn't change, as if she didn't notice the topic involved her, but when her gaze swept over the shark silk, ripples appeared in her eyes.

Qin Zhaoxue looked at Lin Xiwei, whose earlobes were slightly red, and teased.

"Fifth Junior Sister, don't just be shy,"

"You should also say it, what do you want to make it into? I remember the feather garment you made last time, Revered Master liked it so much."

Lin Xiwei subconsciously pressed her slender legs together, and a scene flashed in her mind.

Once, after her Cultivation reached a Bottleneck, she felt irritable and specially made a "Rainbow Feather Garment".

That was a dance dress made of almost completely transparent gauze. Although she was shy, under Revered Master's scorching gaze and "guidance", she finished dancing the whole dance and was finally hugged into Revered Master's arms. Then... it was caught by Second Senior Sister.

Lin Xiwei turned her face away, her ears burning red: "I... I have no ideas."

"Besides, Senior Sisters, your ideas are very good, but... this is too little! I'm afraid it's not even enough for the sleeve of an inner garment..."

When the four women's gazes refocused on the piece of Moonlight Shark Silk on the stone table that was only the size of two palms, the courtyard was silent for a moment.

Only Qin Zhaoxue had a mysterious smile on her face, her red lips parted slightly, and she was about to say something.

A large hand reached out to the stone table without warning and gently picked up the piece of Moonlight Shark Silk.

A familiar voice rang out above the four women's heads:

"Moonlight Shark Silk? It feels... quite slippery, it really is a good thing."

The four women were as if hit by a freezing spell, their bodies stiffened, and they looked up abruptly!

They saw Ling Hao standing by the stone table at some point, looking at the shark silk with flowing soft light on his fingertips with great interest.

A playful smile hung on the corner of his mouth, his gaze sweeping over his four precious disciples who had instantly petrified, their pretty faces flushed red.
