127: High Cold School Prince Forced Love 11

The next day, Lin Xi prepared to start her plan.

However, when she turned around and saw Shen Mo gently flicking Wen Ci's hair, which was scattered on her desk, with the end of his pen, her heart still ached uncontrollably.

The Student Union President, who was cold and distant in front of everyone, was now tracing the girl's sleeping face with a gaze so focused it was almost reverent.

This should have been her privilege.

"Shen Mo." Lin Xi took a deep breath, stood up, walked over, and slapped her exercise book onto Wen Ci's desk. "Can you teach me this problem?"

Her voice was sharper than she expected, causing several classmates around her to look up in surprise.

Since the last unpleasant incident, Lin Xi had barely spoken to Shen Mo, let alone in such an almost commanding tone.

Shen Mo didn't even lift his eyelids, his slender fingers still twirling Ci Ci's hair. "No time."

Those two simple words were like an ice pick piercing Lin Xi's heart.

She suddenly propped herself up on Ci Ci's desk, half her body almost pressing against the sleeping Ci Ci's back. "Just one problem! You used to—"

"Mm..." Ci Ci was woken by the sudden weight, and she looked up in a daze, her eyes meeting Lin Xi's face, which was inches away.

"Wen Ci." Lin Xi spoke first, but made no move to get off her. "Can I switch seats with you? I want to ask Dr. Shen a question."

The classroom instantly fell silent.

Everyone remembered Lin Xi loudly proclaiming "not close with Shen Mo" last week; her actions now were like slapping herself in the face.

Ci Ci rubbed her numb arm, her sleepy eyes narrowing slightly. "Lin Xi, you should apologize for waking me up first."

"I didn't do it on purpose." Lin Xi bit her lip, her peripheral vision glancing at Shen Mo. "And I really have an urgent matter—"

"Apologizing and switching seats are two different things." Ci Ci sat up straight, her voice still soft and sweet from sleep, but her tone was unusually clear. "You woke me up, so you should sincerely say you're sorry. As for switching seats—"

She suddenly turned to Shen Mo. "Do you want to teach her?"

Shen Mo finally looked up, his gaze behind his glasses as cold as if it had been quenched in ice. "No."

That single syllable made Lin Xi's face turn pale.

She couldn't believe Shen Mo would humiliate her in front of the whole class, and even less that he looked at her as if she were something dirty.

"Then I'm even less inclined to move," Ci Ci said directly, not indulging her.

"Wen Ci!" Lin Xi was so embarrassed and uncomfortable that she suddenly raised her voice. "Are you targeting me because Dr. Shen used to teach me problems?" She deliberately glanced at Shen Mo. "After all, back then, Dr. Shen was the one who offered to teach me!"

These words were like a stone thrown into calm water.

Several girls gasped, and ambiguous jeering came from the back row.

Everyone heard the boast in her words—look, the unapproachable Dr. Shen once treated me specially.

Ci Ci's expression instantly froze.

She slowly turned to look at Shen Mo, a smile still on her lips, but her eyes had turned cold. "Oh? He offered?"

Although she knew what was going on, she still couldn't help but feel annoyed.

Shen Mo's pen clattered onto the desk.

His heart fluttered, and he instinctively grabbed Ci Ci's wrist, but she easily pulled away.

The girl who usually eagerly approached him now moved her chair half a meter into the aisle, creating a clear gap between them.

"Lin Xi." Shen Mo's voice was terrifyingly cold, making the temperature of the entire classroom plummet. "Get out."

Lin Xi stumbled back a step. She had never seen Shen Mo like this; his eyes behind his glasses were terrifyingly dark, his jawline taut like a fully drawn bowstring, and his entire being exuded a suffocating pressure.

The class bell rang at the opportune moment.

As Lin Xi fled in a panic, she heard a boy in the back row whisper, "Holy cow, what a battle royale..."

This was Physics class.

Usually, Ci Ci would move her notebook to the middle, making it easy for Shen Mo to correct her mistakes at any time.

Today, however, she propped up her textbook as a barrier, not even letting Shen Mo touch a corner of her clothing.

Shen Mo stared at the twenty-centimeter distance between them, his temples throbbing. He tried to roll an eraser over, but Ci Ci flicked it back; he wrote a note and handed it over, but she crumpled it up and threw it into her drawer without even looking at it.

It was as if she were treating him like a carrier of some virus.

On the podium, the Physics teacher was explaining electromagnetic induction, but Shen Mo suddenly raised his hand. "Teacher, I request to change experiment partners."

The whole class was in an uproar.

Who didn't know that Shen Mo's attitude towards Ci Ci had been very different recently? Although no one said it directly, everyone had noticed it.

"Reason?" The Physics teacher pushed up his glasses.

Shen Mo was expressionless. "My current partner refuses to cooperate."

All eyes shot towards Ci Ci.

The girl blinked innocently, then suddenly showed an expression of realization. "Ah, is it because my Physics is too bad?" She turned to the teacher. "I agree, we can't delay Dr. Shen's competition."

This retreat as an advance was played beautifully, instantly darkening half of Shen Mo's face.

The Physics teacher immediately frowned. "Shen Mo, helping classmates is also..."

"No need, Teacher." Ci Ci interrupted, smiling innocently. "Lin Xi wants to ask questions, doesn't she? Why not let them be a group?"

Shen Mo suddenly turned to look at her, his eyes terrifyingly dark and hostile.

Ci Ci, however, seemed oblivious, even considerately pushing her experiment record book towards him. "All the data is here, the handover will be very convenient."

As soon as the class bell rang, Shen Mo dragged Ci Ci to the empty Chemistry lab.

The moment the door lock clicked shut, Ci Ci was pressed against the lab bench.

Shen Mo removed his glasses with one hand and tossed them aside, while his other hand clasped the back of her neck. "Had enough of this tantrum?"

"Who's having a tantrum?" Ci Ci tilted her head to avoid his breath. "Didn't Dr. Shen himself want to switch partners?"

Shen Mo suddenly smiled.

This person, who rarely showed emotions, now had a dangerous curve to his lips. He lowered his head and bit her collarbone. "Jealous?"

"Ow!" Ci Ci pushed him. "Who's jeal—"

Before she could finish, Shen Mo had already wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her onto the lab bench.

He forcefully squeezed between her legs, his nose almost touching hers. "Listen, Ci Ci, I don't know why I used to pay attention to Lin Xi." His voice was low and hoarse. "But now, this place—"

His fingertip touched Ci Ci's heart. "Only has room for you."

Ci Ci's heart skipped a beat, but she still retorted stubbornly, "Anyone can say sweet nothings."

Shen Mo suddenly pulled out his phone from his pocket and dialed a number. "Director Zhang, prepare Lin Xi's transfer now..."

"Wait!" Ci Ci hurriedly pressed his hand. "What are you doing?"

"Solving the problem." Shen Mo's tone was as calm as if he were discussing the weather. "Since she made you unhappy—"

Ci Ci's eyes widened.

She finally realized that Shen Mo was serious; this guy would really make Lin Xi disappear because of her angry words.

"No!" She snatched the phone and hung up. "That's too strange..."

Shen Mo looked at her quietly. "Then what will it take for you to believe me?"

Sunlight filtered through the blinds, casting dappled shadows on his face. The usually meticulous Dr. Shen now had a loosened tie, and the cuffs of his white shirt still had wrinkles from her struggles earlier.

Ci Ci suddenly softened.

"...At least..." she mumbled softly, "then tell me, did you really never like her before?"

Shen Mo's eyes moved slightly.

He leaned in and pulled her into his arms, resting his chin on the top of her head. "I never liked her, and there's nothing to say about it." His voice uncharacteristically held a hint of confusion. "Back then, I was like... a robot controlled by a program."

Ci Ci was startled.

"And now?" she asked softly.

Shen Mo cupped her face, his thumb caressing the reddened corners of her eyes. "Now the source code has been rewritten." His kiss landed on her brow. "Ci Ci's exclusive version."

Footsteps suddenly echoed in the corridor.

Shen Mo quickly lifted her off the lab bench, but as he adjusted her collar, he noticed the distinct bite mark on her collarbone.

His eyes darkened, and he suddenly untied his own tie and fastened it around her neck.

"Shen Mo!" Ci Ci hurriedly tried to pull it off. "This is too conspicuous..."

"Wear it." He tightened the tie knot, allowing no refusal. "Or I'll call now and have Lin Xi transferred."

Ci Ci was so angry she stomped on his foot. "Are you threatening me?"

"Mm." Shen Mo admitted frankly, leaning down to whisper in her ear, "So be good, don't make me go crazy."

When they returned to the classroom one after another, everyone noticed the obviously oversized tie around Ci Ci's neck—it was Shen Mo's personal item, which he never parted with, and it was said that even touching it would earn you a cold glare from him.

Lin Xi stared intently at the dark blue tie, and finally realized.

She had no chance.

She couldn't get to Shen Mo.

Then she would get to Ci Ci.
