128: High Cold School Prince Forced Love 12
Lin Xi lowered her head, drawing crosses all over her notebook.
Her thoughts were gradually becoming abnormal; now her mind was filled with Wen Ci's exceptionally dazzling and beautiful face.
Yes, she must have used that face to seduce Shen Mo.
Before, Shen Mo's eyes could only hold her; it was all Wen Ci's fault.
The more Lin Xi thought about it, the angrier she became, so she decided to ruin Wen Ci's face.
Lin Xi thought, grinding her teeth, her body starting to tremble violently from excitement.
"Ding."
Her phone screen lit up, and the class group chat was discussing next week's chemistry lab.
Lin Xi's finger suddenly froze, her gaze fixed on the three characters "concentrated sulfuric acid."
"Wen Ci..." she whispered the name, her pen tip repeatedly tracing the sulfuric acid molecular formula until the paper was pierced.
Outside, the cicadas chirped piercingly, but Lin Xi heard the sound of her own blood boiling.
Her chance had come.

Wen Ci always felt like someone was following her recently.
On the way home from school, the third time she looked back, Shen Mo squeezed her palm: "What's wrong?"
"It seems like someone..." Wen Ci frowned, but only saw an empty alleyway, "Maybe I'm too sensitive."
Shen Mo's gaze behind his glasses darkened, but he just pulled her closer: "Don't worry, I'm here."
His phone vibrated silently in his pocket.
An encrypted message popped up on the screen: [Young Master, suspicious target locked.]
Wen Ci was completely unaware, still complaining about the tie she was forced to wear all day: "Don't you know what the class is saying? They say I tied you down with a tie, what the hell, it was clearly you..."
Shen Mo suddenly stopped.
The setting sun stretched their shadows long; he raised a hand to tidy her wind-blown bangs, his movements incredibly gentle: "They weren't wrong."
Wen Ci's ear tips instantly turned red, but she still wasn't convinced, "You were the one who put it on me, it was so conspicuous, that's why everyone was talking about it!"
Shen Mo chuckled, "It's all my fault, but next time you can't just take it off, or I'll mark you in a more conspicuous way."
Wen Ci pouted, but her heart fluttered a little.
What more conspicuous way?

Before chemistry class, Lin Xi deliberately chose a seat in the last row.
She quietly watched Wen Ci and Shen Mo walk into the classroom, one after the other.
As Wen Ci passed by, Lin Xi smelled a faint scent of cedarwood—that was Shen Mo's usual scent.
"Attention, students." The chemistry teacher tapped the podium, "Today we're doing the concentrated sulfuric acid dilution experiment. Please strictly follow the operating procedures..."
Lin Xi's fingernails dug into her palm.
Her lab table was perfectly positioned to see Wen Ci's profile.
The girl was tilting her head, talking to Shen Mo about something; sunlight streamed through the window onto her porcelain-white skin, even her earlobes gleamed with a pearl-like luster.
What a perfect face.
It's just a pity it would soon disappear.
Lin Xi lowered her head to check the interlayer of her schoolbag, where a syringe filled with concentrated sulfuric acid was hidden.
Last night, she had secretly snuck into the lab and used a spare key to open the chemical cabinet.
"Now, please have each group come up to collect the reagents," the teacher's voice came.
Lin Xi watched Wen Ci stand up and walk towards the podium.
Now! She stood up abruptly, only to bump into a human wall; Shen Mo had somehow blocked the aisle.
"Excuse me," Lin Xi said, trying to maintain her composure.
Shen Mo didn't move. He looked down at her, his glasses reflecting a cold light: "Your lab report."
"What?"
"Last week's acid-base titration report." Shen Mo's voice was neither loud nor soft, just enough for the surrounding students to hear, "The Student Union is doing a random check."
Lin Xi's face changed. She hadn't submitted that report at all.
"I, I left it in the classroom..."
Shen Mo nodded, then suddenly reached out: "Give me your schoolbag."
The classroom instantly fell silent. Everyone looked on in surprise; the usually aloof Student Union President was actually initiating conversation with a girl?
When Wen Ci returned with the reagent bottle, she saw Shen Mo carrying Lin Xi's schoolbag towards the podium. She blinked in confusion, then saw the chemistry teacher's face suddenly change drastically.
"This is... Oh my! Call the police!"
The entire classroom erupted into chaos. The teacher took a sealed syringe from Lin Xi's schoolbag; the liquid inside was gleaming dangerously in the sunlight.
"It's just saline!" Lin Xi shrieked, trying to rush forward, but she was held back by two boys, "Shen Mo, you framed me!"
Shen Mo stood by the podium, coldly pushing up his glasses: "Last night's lab surveillance footage is very clear."
These words were like a bucket of ice water poured over Lin Xi's head.
She suddenly realized that everything she had meticulously prepared, believing it to be flawless, seemed to have been seen through by Shen Mo in advance!
She had been tricked!
"You were monitoring me?" Lin Xi's voice trembled.
Shen Mo didn't answer. He walked back to Wen Ci's side and gently covered her eyes: "Don't look."
The sound of police sirens grew closer.
Wen Ci trembled slightly under Shen Mo's palm: "Was that really... sulfuric acid?"
"Mm." Shen Mo pulled her into his embrace, his voice so soft only she could hear, "But it's okay now."
He looked at Lin Xi being led away by the police, his eyes as sinister as if he were looking at a corpse.

Three days later, during morning assembly, the principal gravely announced that Lin Xi had been expelled for "endangering campus safety."
The class was abuzz with discussion, but only Wen Ci noticed the fleeting cold smile at the corner of Shen Mo's lips.
"You knew all along?" Wen Ci finally couldn't help but ask on the way home from school.
Shen Mo played with her hair: "Just a guess."
"Then the surveillance..."
"There was no surveillance." Shen Mo suddenly smiled, "But she didn't know that."
Wen Ci gasped. So that syringe was...
"She brought it herself." Shen Mo's tone was as light as if discussing the weather, "I just made sure it was 'accidentally' discovered."
Sunlight dappled through the leaves, and Wen Ci was somewhat astonished.
She suddenly realized how incredibly intelligent the young man before her, who seemed so infatuated with her, was at his core.
"Are you scared?" Shen Mo keenly noticed her hesitation, pulling her into his arms, "Too late."
His kiss landed on her trembling eyelashes, incredibly gentle: "From the day you provoked me, you were destined to be locked by my side for a lifetime."
The distant cheers of students leaving school reached them, but Wen Ci only heard her own pounding heart.
She looked up at Shen Mo's profile, outlined by the sunlight, and suddenly remembered Lin Xi's hysterical shouts as she was led away:
"Do you think he's a good person? Shen Mo is a lunatic!"
Lin Xi was indeed not wrong.
But at this moment, held tightly in Shen Mo's arms, Wen Ci felt safe.
This lunatic's obsession now belonged entirely to her.
