339: What kind of super-evolution-like art style is this?

Hearing Wu Xiong’s words, Chen Heng then realized that two days had already passed.

“I understand.”

Stretching, Chen Heng lazily got up from the bed and walked towards the cabin door.

Bai Jun and Luo Shuo also followed behind Chen Heng; they were equally interested in this mysterious Empire.

When the three walked out of the cabin, the scenery before them made Chen Heng exclaim in wonder.

Ever since he came to this world, he had never seen anything called clear skies and sunshine.

But above the capital of the Chengtian Empire, the sky was clear and cloudless, and the sunlight falling on his body brought a touch of warmth.

In this extremely cold winter, this ray of sunshine might save countless lives.

“It’s been so long since I’ve seen the sun…”

Chen Heng took a deep breath, enjoying the sunlight that fell on his body.

Wu Xiong caught an important piece of information in Chen Heng’s words, and he immediately turned to look at Chen Heng.

“Senior, could it be that you’ve seen such a sky outside the capital?”

Logically, it shouldn’t be possible. Other places outside the capital were always partly cloudy, and even if there was sunlight, it wouldn’t be this brilliant.

“Of course I’ve seen it, but that’s in the past.”

Chen Heng sighed, he was speaking the truth after all.

No matter how much they guessed, they wouldn't guess that Chen Heng had seen the sun and blue sky in another world.

‘I still underestimated this person…’ Wu Xiong’s regard for Chen Heng rose another notch in his heart.

“Whoa! What is that?” Bai Jun attached a long-distance spell to his eyes and looked at the buildings below.

A giant tower, soaring into the clouds, appeared before everyone.

The giant tower seemed to be entirely cast from metal, glittering in the sunlight.

Moreover, every now and then, one or two floating ships would fly out from the giant tower, disappearing into the distance.

“Senior, this is the capital of the Chengtian Empire!”

Wu Xiong adjusted his mindset and introduced it to Chen Heng with a touch of pride.

Chen Heng looked at the giant city below with an expressionless face, but waves had already risen in his heart.

The entire capital stretched as far as the eye could see, and every road was incredibly orderly.

The arrangement of buildings also differed vastly from Great Liang; each one extended neatly outwards from the direction of the giant tower.

“How is this done?” Bai Jun and Luo Shuo couldn’t imagine how a city of this magnitude was built.

In their impression, even the capital of a country wouldn’t be so orderly.

They couldn't even see a slum.

“Senior, please rest in the Central Tower first. I need to report this matter to the Elder Council.”

Wu Xiong knew that lying in front of Chen Heng was no different from suicide, so he simply told the truth.

“Go ahead, we’ll just wander around your capital.”

Chen Heng nodded, placing one foot on the edge of the ship, ready to jump down.

“Senior, don’t…” Just as Wu Xiong was about to stop Chen Heng, Chen Heng had already jumped off the ship.

“You two, please don’t…”

He had just turned to look at Bai Jun and Luo Shuo when he found that both of them had already jumped off the ship, following Chen Heng.

“Did I just get myself into a big mess…”

Wu Xiong’s face had already started to sweat.

He could only hope that no one with poor judgment would provoke them before he found these three gentlemen.

“Quick, quick, quick! Accelerate, I need to report this to the Elder Council immediately!”

“Also, tell Yi Qiaoer to find that Senior, don’t let those thoughtless guys provoke Senior!”

“Yes!” A soldier hurriedly went to find Yi Qiaoer, not daring to delay for a moment.

He had seen Chen Heng’s abilities; if a strong person of this level went mad in the capital, the entire capital would turn into ruins.

When Yi Qiaoer learned of Wu Xiong’s order, she shivered greatly.

“Uncle said to send me!?” Yi Qiaoer pointed to herself, her face full of disbelief.

“Yes, General!” The soldier left after delivering Wu Xiong’s message.

As for whether Yi Qiaoer went or not, it had nothing to do with him.

“Why throw such a troublesome matter onto me!”

Yi Qiaoer was scared just thinking about Chen Heng’s appearance; she had been cooped up in the command room for days, not daring to go out.

But after a while, Yi Qiaoer still gritted her teeth, took off her tattered heavy armor, and walked out of the command room.

After finding her Sky-Steed on the lowest deck, she opened the hatch and flew out.

Chen Heng and his companions were quite easy to find, as no one else in the entire capital dressed like them.

It probably wouldn’t be long before news reached her… Just as Yi Qiaoer was rushing to find Chen Heng and the other two, the three of them were feasting in a restaurant.

“Big Brother Chen, I’ve never seen such decorations before.”

Bai Jun picked up a piece of tender stewed meat from the plate, looking at the surrounding decor.

“Hmm, it is indeed rare…”

Chen Heng looked around. Isn't this just a minimalist decor style?

The art style is wrong, isn't it?

How does it feel like ever since he met these people from the Chengtian Empire, the art style around him has rapidly evolved?

“It shouldn’t be, no, maybe it is.”

Chen Heng ate the dishes on the table while pondering in his heart.

Normally, changes in the entire world are generally uniform.

Even if there is some difference, it won’t be ridiculously large, maybe a hundred years or so.

But this style and way of doing things are too different from the Jade Fan Kingdom and Great Liang.

It should be said… a bit too modern?

“It really might be, this place wouldn’t be something you created, would it?”

Chen Heng now deeply suspected that this place with its unusually peculiar art style definitely had a lot to do with his Fellow Countryman.

Even if he didn't create it himself, he was definitely involved.

Otherwise, what's with this super-evolved art style and sense of technology?

“By the way, Big Brother Chen, does the Chengtian Empire accept silver?”

As Bai Jun was eating, he remembered a very important matter.

That is, they seemed to only have silver on them.

“Who cares, we’ll just give them silver later, whether they want it or not.”

Chen Heng rolled his eyes. Anyway, someone would cover for them in the end.

He didn't believe that Wu Xiong would confidently let them wander around the capital?

Moreover, before contacting that Elder Council, Chen Heng still needed to have a basic understanding of this capital.

Otherwise, he wouldn't even know if they tricked him.

As time passed, the bowls and plates on the table piled higher and higher, showing a tendency to totter.

“Where did those bumpkins come from, eating so much?”

Aside, several girls sitting together whispered.

“I don’t know, probably from the countryside, dressed so unfashionably.”

Chen Heng turned to look at those Little Girls, releasing a little of his Devilish Qi and Evil Qi.

But with just that one glance, those Little Girls rolled their eyes and fainted.

“Alright, it’s quiet now, continue.”

Chen Heng pointed at the dishes on the table and said.

“This guest…” Chen Heng had barely eaten two bites when a man who looked like a Shopkeeper walked over.

“Look, shouldn’t we settle the bill first?”
