569: Shut up, Zhang!

“Welcome, Mr. Chi Zheng, Chairman of Red Dragon Company.”

The mechanical voice of the intelligent AI sounded, and Chi Zheng, Chairman of Red Dragon Company, also straightened up.

The people of the Red Dragon Federation, who were in heated discussion, all stopped and turned to look at Chi Zheng, who had just entered.

If one were to ask who held the highest position on the entire Chiling Star, it would undoubtedly be Chi Zheng and his Red Dragon Company.

Even the Red Dragon Federation, which publicly maintained world order, was nothing more than a Puppet of Red Dragon Company.

“Mr. Chi Zheng, you’ve arrived.”

The Commander-in-Chief’s projection nodded slightly to Chi Zheng as a greeting.

The others, after greeting him, began to await Chi Zheng’s statement.

“Why did you have to call me here when you have nothing better to do?” Chi Zheng frowned. He usually never bothered with the affairs of the Red Dragon Federation.

“This matter is no small thing; it’s no longer something we can make decisions about.”

The Commander-in-Chief wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Ever since the Devourer and the thousand-meter-tall humanoid creature appeared, the Commander-in-Chief had been sweating constantly like a showerhead.

“Has the planetary cloaking device been activated?”

Chi Zheng leaned back in his leather chair, asking in a tone that was hard to decipher.

“It has been activated. The Chicheng Mobile Squad is also ready and can launch an attack on those two targets at any time.”

The Commander-in-Chief listed everything he could do and had already done.

“...” After hearing the Commander-in-Chief’s words, Chi Zheng’s face immediately darkened.

“When did I say I wanted to clash with those two giant lifeforms?”

“But...” The Commander-in-Chief wanted to say something, but he honestly closed his mouth.

“However, what you did wasn’t wrong, but you must try to avoid conflicts with those two giant lifeforms.”

“There’s no benefit in clashing with them; on the contrary, it will lead to significant losses.”

“Hide Chiling Star as much as possible and deploy the bait.”

Chi Zheng ultimately did not blame the Commander-in-Chief; his actions were indeed the best he could think of and accomplish.

“Understood?”

Seeing no one respond, Chi Zheng lightly tapped his crystal desk twice.

“Understood.” The Commander-in-Chief quickly nodded and immediately relayed Chi Zheng’s orders.

“Boss, actually there’s one more thing...” Just as Chi Zheng thought the matter was over, a very fat man, dripping with oil, spoke softly.

“Speak.” Chi Zheng glanced at him. This man was his general manager for the Lower City District.

“Several Gangs in the Lower City District have completely lost control. They’ve allied with the poor and want to attack the Upper City District.”

The fat man carefully chose his words, afraid of angering Chi Zheng.

“Do you need to tell me about such a small matter?” Chi Zheng gave the fat man a cold look, scaring him so much he almost soiled his pants.

“Boss, this really isn’t a small matter anymore.” The fat man wiped the grease from his face, his voice trembling.

“Those poor people and Gangs somehow got seven kilograms of enriched uranium and a detonation device. This really will pose a threat to the Upper City District...”

“Hmm...” Chi Zheng narrowed his eyes after hearing the fat man’s words, his finger lightly tapping his crystal desk.

Everyone present at the meeting knew that once the boss made this gesture, it meant he was about to unleash a massacre.

“Have the Chicheng Mobile Squad handle this, and also the Mad Dog Squad.”

“Mad Dog Squad?!” The fat man’s heart jumped, and he couldn’t help but exclaim.

“Boss, do we really need to unleash those 85% modified madmen?”

“But there are still many ordinary people in the Lower City District...”

Although the fat man was afraid, he still decided to try and persuade him.

“What of it?” Chi Zheng chuckled, his finger gently tracing patterns on the crystal desk.

“Old Pan, have you been living in the Lower City District for too long and been assimilated by those maggots?”

“If you really have been assimilated, then I’ll have to consider replacing the person in charge of the Lower City District.”

“No, no, how could that be!” Old Pan shook his head repeatedly, afraid Chi Zheng would misunderstand.

“Boss, you misunderstand. I’m just worried that the Mad Dog Squad might affect some of the low-level industries in the Lower City District.”

“That’s not for you to worry about.” Chi Zheng looked up at Old Pan.

“Those poor maggot-like creatures are just a part of my property, and I can deal with them however I want.”

“Since they dared to threaten the Upper City District, then I’ll make them suffer greatly.”

“I’ll make sure they don’t dare to have any thoughts about the Upper City District for at least ten years. That’s what I need to do.”

“Understood?”

“Understood, understood.” Old Pan nodded repeatedly like a pug, and everyone seemed to see a wagging tail behind him.

“Alright, don’t think too much about the Devourer and the giant; that’s not something we can get involved in.”

“Do your own job and don’t fall from your position.”

“Meeting adjourned.”

Seeing that there was nothing else, Chi Zheng turned and ended the online meeting.

“Allenby, awaken ten Team Members of the Mad Dog Squad, and also awaken their captain.”

“I want to make those foolish poor people in the Lower City District know what fear is.”

Chi Zheng’s face was contorted; he could not tolerate the poor people of the Lower City District daring to do such a thing.

“I understand, Boss.” The humanoid Allenby nodded and turned to leave the office.

“Damn poor people, if it weren’t for the need for population in production, I’d really want to crush all you stinking maggots to death...”

---

Three hours passed in a flash, and the people on the vermilion bird ship had found a perfectly safe spot to watch the show.

“Big Brother Chen, how long will he keep fighting?”

Luo Shuo yawned idly, leaning back in a reclined soft chair, watching Chen Heng, who was having a blast outside, and asked.

“I don’t know, it’s already been three hours.”

Bai Jun shook his head. He also wasn’t sure how long Chen Heng planned to play.

“I think it should be soon; that big guy isn’t moving much anymore.”

Qi Longhu speculated, looking at the distant battlefield.

“You’re mistaken. That big guy has been moving very slowly from the beginning, no different from before.”

Xu Lieying, who had recovered, stood beside Qi Longhu, eagerly watching Chen Heng, who was still engaged in a fierce battle in the distance.

“Hiss... That looks painful.”

In the distance, Chen Heng was once again hit directly in the face by a Nuclear Energy Breath, and his carapace, along with the flesh beneath, was instantly charred.

“I think that big guy is hurting more; didn’t you see he was bent in half?”

Qi Longhu said, looking at the big guy that Chen Heng had almost broken with a punch.

“It really does seem so...”

“What is that?” Luo Shuo suddenly sat upright, asking as he looked into the depths of the twinkling star sea.

“Shut up!” Everyone quickly covered Luo Shuo’s mouth. That big jinx always made things happen when he spoke.

That big guy was already troublesome enough; if more trouble came, it would be a disaster.

“No, it’s no use covering my mouth; that thing’s target seems to be Big Brother Chen?”

Luo Shuo broke free from their restraints and pointed to the distant star sea.

Only then did Bai Jun and the others realize Luo Shuo wasn’t joking, and they immediately looked into the distance.

They saw a rift open in the star sea, and more than a dozen medium-sized warships, each over a hundred kilometers in length, flew out of it.

And at their center was a large warship, possibly over a thousand kilometers long!
