Isiah’s face lit up with a joy so pure it seemed to make the very God space around him brighter. The permission from his master was everything he had ever wanted. Uranus, Gaia, and Cerberus were already extending their influence to the billions of new worlds, but his own domain, the Divine Library, had remained isolated. Now, that was about to change."That was already in my mind, so your wish doesn’t count. You can make another one," Sunny said, an indulgent, fatherly tone in his voice. He wanted to spend the faith he had accumulated, and with reserves in the trillions, he could afford to be generous. I’ll have to create more demigods, I guess, he thought, his mind already picturing new creations; a fiery phoenix, a noble qilin, a graceful unicorn.

"Master," Isiah began, his voice filled with a new, fervent hope, "I am a sea of knowledge, but I am a sea without shores. I can hold the knowledge of everything, but I cannot give it form. I wish for a talent to not just know, but to do—to learn anything I have knowledge of and be able to share that practical learning."

"That is feasible, I guess," Sunny said. He raised a hand, and a river of pure, shimmering faith—a hundred billion points worth—flowed from him. It was a sum that would have bankrupted the old Sunny a dozen times over, but for the current one, it was a calculated investment. The river of energy surged towards Isiah, ready to etch a new, god-like power into his very being.

And then, it simply vanished.

The faith touched Isiah’s form and disappeared into thin air, leaving no trace, no new power, only a profound and unnerving emptiness.

"What?" Sunny said aloud, jolting forward on his throne. He focused his God’s Eye on Isiah, scanning for the new talent, but found nothing. "How is that possible?" he exclaimed in his mind.

He didn’t waste a moment. "Thea, call Adam."

A video call connected instantly. On the screen, the old god appeared, still relaxing in the serene bliss of the Heaven realm. "What? You spent a hundred billion faith points? And it just... vanished?" Adam exclaimed after Sunny explained what had happened.

"Yes... Do you know the reason?" Sunny asked, a sliver of curiosity in his voice. The demigods watched the exchange in stunned silence.

Adam thought for a moment, then a slow, knowing smile spread across his face as he tried, and failed, to suppress a chuckle. "Yes, the reason is quite simple, actually. Think of it this way, Cosmos: you can’t pour an ocean into a teacup. The talent you tried to create was an ocean of power. Isiah, for all his greatness, is still an SS-Grade vessel—a teacup. An exquisite, priceless teacup, mind you, but a teacup nonetheless."

He paused, letting his analogy sink in. "The power had nowhere to go, so it simply... ceased to be. And no, that faith is non-refundable. It’s gone forever."

"It’s alright," Sunny said, his tone surprisingly calm. The loss of a hundred billion faith points was a sting, but an affordable one. Instead the knowledge he’d just gained was priceless. He had been formulating a much grander plan that would have cost trillions; this failed experiment had just saved him from a catastrophic mistake. "Adam, I wanted to ask you about something else too."

"Ask away," Adam replied, his demeanor instantly shifting back to serious.

"I have found the location of the Pill of Life," Sunny stated, "but there are two points to note..."

Before he could continue, Adam held up a hand. "If it is in a dangerous location, then leave it. I have nothing to gain from living, anyway. My only wish is to see you kill those demons and avenge me and all your other brothers and sisters."

"Stop with the melodrama," Sunny gestured dismissively. "Listen carefully. First, the information about this location was leaked by the Demon Lords themselves. Second, the location is in the Realm of Advancement."

Adam’s eyebrows rose. "Hmm... so they want to cause discord among you all." He stroked his ethereal beard. "Well, if you’re asking if the treasure is real, then yes, it should be. I’d say there’s a 99% chance it is. First, they don’t need these ’low-end’ SSS-Grade items; their own artifacts are far more powerful. Second, for their plan to sow discord to work, the bait must be real. If the gods find only lies, they will unite against their common enemy. The demons are evil, not stupid."

The clarity of his analysis, born from billions of years of experience, was undeniable.

"Okay, thanks for the information," Sunny said. "I won’t guarantee anything, but if I get my hands on it, I will surely give it to you." After a few more words, he cut the call.

He turned back to his assembled demigods. "So, as you have heard, there are some restrictions on the talents I can give you all. It isn’t because my pockets are empty," he said, a smirk in his voice, "it’s because your grade is too low."

He leaned forward on his throne, his cosmic eyes seeming to pierce through each of them. "So, when are you all going to become a God? I have been awaiting that moment for a long time."

The statement landed with the force of a physical blow. The demigods stared, their minds reeling. Only Thea and Isiah had been aware of such a possibility.

"Master," Nova was the first to speak, her voice filled with a hopeful tremor. "Can we... can we really become Gods?" For her, godhood wasn’t about status; it was about becoming more helpful to her creator.

"Yes," Sunny’s voice resonated with power. "But for that, you must comprehend a Law and become its master. Be aware, a Law can only have a single God. While there are other Gods in the multiverse, their Laws are different from the fundamental ones of this reality. The old Gods are gone. Their thrones are empty."

He looked at them, his creations, his army. "The path to godhood is open. You can dive into any Law you like and claim it by comprehending its very essence."

This knowledge was not just information; it was a key, unlocking a door to a future they had never dared to imagine. A spark ignited in the eyes of every demigod present— a spark of divine ambition, a spark of a desire for greater power, a spark of a need to become even more helpful to their master.
