Without Faith, the divine economy would collapse. But for Sunny, who was currently generating quadrillions, handing a few trillion Merits to a demigod was like giving a penny to a beggar.

He turned his gaze to the white tree.

Then, using its Talent Upgrader and high status, the tree would elevate those skills to SS-Grade and Bless them onto the Gods, the Void-Born, or anyone else in the hierarchy.

"You," Sunny commanded, his voice resonating with the power of a creator, "shall be Mire, the Demigod of Fusion."

"And you," he said to the white tree, "shall be Yggdrasil, the Demigod of Ascension."

With a surge of his will, the Divine Embryos ignited.

The white tree shuddered. Its silver leaves rustled with a sound like chiming bells, and its heavy branches lowered until they touched the ground of his throne room, a graceful bow to its master.

The soil began to hardened, rising up to form a featureless, shifting golem of earth and water.

It knelt, its form fluid yet solid, radiating a strange power.

Sunny nodded to his newest children, a satisfied chuckle escaping his lips. They were perfect.

"Thea," he commanded, his voice shifting from creator to Emperor. "Call them. Call everyone."

[Everyone, Master?]

"Every God in the city. Every demigod in the universe. Even the demigods created by my subordinates. Summon them to the Garden."

[Yes, Master.]

The message went out like a shockwave.

In the City of Gods, six billion deities stopped in their tracks.

They were in the middle of decorating their new mansions, haggling in the Western Bazaar, or testing the rides in the Eastern District. But when the Emperor called, the world stopped.

Across the 6 billion subordinate planets, Billiond of demigods; some ruling empires, others hunting beasts, some still recovering from the tournament, received the notification.

The City of Gods descended into chaos.

Rivers of light streamed through the sky as Gods abandoned their tasks and flew toward the Central Palace.

The demigods stood in orderly manner, while the Gods took their places in the floating tiers of seating that ringed the garden, their expressions a mix of excitement and anticipation.
