Lifeform1537: "Why did Champion Thorn forfeit? He could have won easily! I wanted to see him use those Dragon Words everyone talks about!"

Lifeform26379: "Maybe his epiphany isn’t over? He’s been like that for months now."

Lifeform16738: "You guys, stop worrying about the dragon! Look at Arena 435! There’s an insane fight going on between a werewolf champion and a vampire lord! This is epic!"

While the mortals quickly shifted their focus to the next spectacle, the Gods seated in the highest tier of the arena exchanged glances.

"Boss, can a demigod really become a God?" Asura asked, leaning forward on his throne, his voice a low whisper carrying across the divine assembly. The question voiced the thought that was now burning in every God’s mind.

"I guess the talent requirement would be SSS-Grade," another God mused, shaking his head. "Something impossible for our lifeforms, surely."

"No," Sunny’s voice cut through their speculation, calm and absolute. "There isn’t such a requirement as an SSS-Grade Talent." He let the surprising statement hang in the air for a moment.

"The only thing required is Comprehension. Deep, profound comprehension of a fundamental Law." He elaborated, sharing the secrets Adam had unveiled, secrets that felt like they were rewriting the very rulebook of their existence.

"Even you yourselves can walk this path. Find a Law that resonates with your innate talent—the Law of Wisdom for you, Strategist; perhaps the Law of fire for Vulcan" He spoke casually, dropping cosmic truths as if discussing the weather.

"So... only comprehension?" Zir sputtered, his mind racing, the possibilities unfolding before him like an infinite, starry map.

"Boss, with your blessing increasing our lifeforms’ comprehension tenfold, and the increased chance of them being born with such talents... doesn’t that mean... doesn’t that mean we could have multiple Gods serving under us in the future?"

"Yes," Sunny confirmed simply. But his next words were a cold dose of reality, a necessary counterpoint to their soaring ambition.

"But do not forget one crucial thing. Once your lifeform, born naturally, ascends first to demigod and then to true Godhood... they are no longer bound by your will. They may become disloyal. They may even betray you." He let the chilling possibility sink in.

"On the other hand, a demigod created from a Divine Embryo, born of your own essence... even if they achieve Godhood, their loyalty to their creator remains absolute, eternal." He looked out at the sea of divine faces. "So, think carefully where you choose to invest your resources."

"We understand, Emperor," the Gods replied, their voices a low, thoughtful chorus. The path to creating their own pantheon was open, but it was fraught with potential peril.

Suddenly, a different voice cut through the discussion, rough and laced with a simmering anger.

It was Vulcan, the burly God of the fire world, his form radiating a palpable heat. "Emperor Cosmos," he began, his voice tight, "I wish to speak about something."

Sunny inclined his head, granting permission.

"Where is Kitsune?" Vulcan demanded, his fists clenching. "I wished for revenge for her deceit, for the faith she stole from me. But she has vanished from the chats, from existence it seems. Is she... dead?"

"Oh, Kitsune," Sunny replied, his tone calm, almost dismissive. "She is no longer a God. Her divinity has been revoked. She currently resides in the Netherworld. You may visit her anytime you wish, simply contact Cerberus to arrange passage."

A slow, savage grin spread across Vulcan’s face. "Lost her God status? Serves the vixen right!" He let out a booming laugh that seemed to shake the arena. "As for visiting her... oh, I will gladly visit her. Every time I have a spare moment, I shall go and remind her of her foolishness. Verbally, of course," he added quickly, catching the wary glances of some of the female deities nearby. "Torturing souls is not my job."

"I too shall pay her a visit," Snatcher spoke up, his voice a cold whisper of wind. "My own demigod almost perished because of her arrogance."

"You are all welcome there," Sunny said smoothly. "Just remember to ask Cerberus for permission. It is his realm, after all."

As the Gods processed this new piece of cosmic justice, Sunny leaned back, a quiet confidence radiating from him. ’No matter how many Laws you comprehend,’ he thought, his gaze sweeping over the ambitious faces, ’you will never outshine my own creations.’

He knew the hierarchy Adam had explained. The Gods comprehending specific Laws like Fire Resistance, Flowing Water, Earthquake etc would always be subordinate to the Gods who mastered the fundamental Laws themselves, the Laws of Fire, Water, and Earth.

And his demigods, the beings he had personally crafted and guided, were destined to claim those fundamental thrones.

They would be the true pillars of this new era. ’I am a genius,’ he thought, allowing himself a moment of pure, unadulterated satisfaction.

His gaze then drifted back to the stand where Thorn sat, still enveloped in his golden cocoon of epiphany. The aura around him was stabilizing, the chaotic energy coalescing into something solid, powerful, and undeniably divine.

’It may take another day for you to fully emerge,’ Sunny thought. He turned his attention back to the ongoing battles in the arena, his God’s Eye scanning the remaining champions, searching for that spark, that unforeseen variable his intuition had promised him.

He had already gifted nearly four thousand new worlds to the Gods whose demigods had impressed him with their creativity or power, a strategic act of generosity that had ignited a firestorm of ambition throughout the Pantheon.

Gods were now scrambling, desperately trying to create or showcase demigods that might catch their Emperor’s eye, hoping for a similar boon.

Adam, observing this frenzy from his own position, just smiled. It wasn’t a bad thing. In this new era, under this new Emperor, ambition was not a sin; it was the engine of progress.
