Chapter 254: Ch 254 : Let Them become Monsters

"Congratulations on your breakthrough, Your Majesty!"The words came from six billion throats, a single, unified voice that resonated with such immense power it warped the very air of the Garden.

The collective weight of their adoration was a physical force, a sudden pressure that threatened to crush the billions of demigods standing below, their knees buckled and they groaned under the pressure of their own master’s enthusiasm.

Sunny, seeing this, waved a hand. A gentle, opposing force, a ripple of his own power, washed over the demigods, lifting the weight and allowing them to stand tall once more.

"Thank you," Sunny said, his heart pounding a frantic rhythm against his ribs. It was intoxicating. It was terrifying.

He knew this loyalty was a cocktail of many things; his Void-born nature, his unparalleled strength, the endless benefits he provided, and the insidious work of his Divine Blessing talent.

But as he looked out at the sea of bowing deities, he realized the reason didn’t matter. The result did. They were his.

"I have summoned you all," Sunny announced, his voice cutting through the lingering cheers, "because I have a new announcement."

A collective gasp rippled through the assembly. ’Another one?’ they thought, their minds already reeling from the tournament, the city, the God-Maker realm.

They were numb with shock, yet hungry for more.

"Come out," Sunny commanded, looking towards the colossal gates of his palace. "Don’t be shy."

The massive doors flung open. From the shadows, a figure emerged. It was a golem, a hulking humanoid shape formed from swirling, chaotic mud and shimmering, golden water.

It moved with a fluid grace, its surface constantly shifting. But the most striking feature was what grew from its head.

Rooted deep within the golem’s earthen skull was a tree; a pristine, ivory-white tree with leaves like polished silver mirrors, radiating a holy light.

The golem knelt before the throne, and the tree’s branches dipped in a bow.

"These are my latest creations," Sunny declared, gesturing to the pair. "Meet Mire and Yggdrasil"

He leaned forward on his throne. "You all recall the Altar of Synthesis I introduced for the Northern District? The place where you can fuse your talents?"

Heads nodded eagerly. They remembered the promise of power, and the terrifying risk of losing everything.

"I promised you a solution to its weakness," Sunny said. "A way to guarantee that even if the fusion fails, you will not lose your precious abilities. Now, that solution is here."

He paused, letting the anticipation build. "Though it is costly," he added, his power hungry soul unable to resist the profit, "but it is guaranteed to save your talent. From this day forward, it is mandatory to store a copy of your talent before attempting any fusion. So that even if you lose it in the fire of creation, it can be restored."

"Store a talent?" a God called out, his brow furrowed in confusion. "Your Majesty, how is that possible? A talent is part of the soul. It cannot be placed in a box."

"It can," Sunny replied, a glint in his eye. "With this new creation, you can extract a copy of your talent and store it within Mire. And if you lose it... Yggdrasil can give it back."

He waved a hand, expanding the projection. "Furthermore, every one of you can purchase a... seedling... a copy of this symbiotic pair for your own worlds. You can have a Mire and Yggdrasil in your own worlds."

The Gods exchanged bewildered glances. Why would they need this on their own worlds? If they wanted to fuse a lifeform’s talent, they could just bring the mortal to the city with permit. It seemed redundant.

Sunny looked at their confused faces and sighed, a sound of disappointment. "You guys love to jump to conclusions, don’t you?"

The confusion deepened. Were they missing something obvious?

Suddenly, a God’s eyes went wide. His jaw dropped, and he stood up, his trembling finger pointing at the golem and the tree.

"Your Majesty..." he whispered, his voice cracking with disbelief. "Is it... is it really possible?"


This was Isaac, a prominent member of Strategist’s ’Wisdom Union,’ a God known for his sharp intellect. He was second only to Strategist himself.

"Yes, it is," Sunny confirmed, his voice absolute.

Isaac staggered back into his seat, his mind blown. He didn’t know if Sunny could read his thoughts, but the Emperor’s confirmation was all the proof he needed.

The other Gods looked at Isaac like hungry wolves, desperate for the insight. "What? What is it? Speak!"

"Stop scaring him," Sunny commanded. "Let me tell you what he figured out."

He looked down at the millions of demigods standing in the garden; beings of immense power, wielding talents their creators could only dream of having.

"I assume," Sunny began, his voice low and knowing, "that all of you have felt envious of these demigods down below at least once. They are born with power. They can have whatever talent you give them. But you? You have to learn. You have to train. You have to suffer for every scrap of power you gain."

The Gods looked down, nodding slowly. It was the bitter truth of their existence. They were the creators, but often, their creations were the masterpieces.

"So," Sunny asked, "what is the use of a creation that can store a talent... and then give it back?"

Silence. And then, one by one, the realization hit them. It started as a ripple and became a tsunami of shock.

Storage. Retrieval. Transfer.

The thing Sunny was giving them was something even he didn’t possess naturally.

"Yes," Sunny said, his voice booming over the stunned silence. "Your demigods can store their talents in Mire. And then... you can be blessed by Yggdrasil. You can possess the very talents you gave to your creations. You can wield the strength of your champions."

The garden erupted. It wasn’t a cheer; it was a roar of ambitions.

This changed everything. A God of Fire could take the Fire Immunity of his demigod dragon.

A God of War could wield the Sword Saint talent of his demigod general.

They could become the ultimate avatars of their own civilizations.

Sunny watched them, a calm smile on his face. He knew the risks. Some of these Gods might copy SS-Grade talents.

Some might become incredibly powerful, perhaps even rivaling his own stats.

But he wasn’t worried. He was Cosmos. He possessed multiple SSS-Grade talents. He had Divine Growth, which allowed him to breakthrough any talent to SSS-Grade.

He was a Chosen one of the Void, which placed him above them all.

Let them grow. Let them become monsters. In the end, they were his monsters. And the stronger they became, the safer his empire would be.
