In the vast expanse of Sunny’s God space, a new creation was taking shape. It was not a demigod. It was not a world. It was a dream of billions of Gods."Builder," Sunny said, his voice a calm hum. He stood before a God whose form was a strange, beautiful fusion of a man and a living blueprint.

In his hands, Builder held a vast, shimmering canvas of light, upon which a celestial city was already being drawn from the lines of the faith.

"We also need a central structure, a building that will lead the Gods on the path to their own greatness," Sunny continued. "It shall be called the ’God-Maker,’ and it will be the gateway to a different subspace. I will give you the remaining details of its function later."

Builder, the God of Architecture, bowed his head, his mind already calculating the beautiful geometry of such a structure. "As you wish, Your Majesty."

With a flick of his wrist, a new red mark appeared on the northernmost quadrant of the celestial blueprint.

This was the new, grand project of the Pantheon: the City of Gods. It was a shared capital forged from the collective will of six billion Gods, a place where they could all reside.

Builder’s design was a masterpiece of continent-sized districts.

The Northern District, marked ’Opportunity,’ was the city’s heart.

Here, the ever-expanding spire of the Divine Library would stand. Beside it, the shimmering, two-way portals to Heaven and Hell.

And now, the newly-marked God-Maker realm, the university where a single day of training would equal a more than two hundred years.

The Eastern District, marked ’Recreation,’ was a proof to the Gods’ desire to live.

It was an amusement park of immense scale: virtual reality arcades that could simulate any fantasy, grand coliseums for friendly (or not-so-friendly) wagers, zero-gravity arenas for games of football, and tranquil gardens where one could simply sit and watch new stars be born.

The Western District, marked ’Commerce,’ was a bustling and beautiful experiment.

It was a bazaar for the Gods, a place free from Thea’s regulated system shop. Here, the old laws of barter would reign supreme.

Gods whose worlds produced rare spices could trade them for the metals of a different God’s realm.

It was a place for connection, for rivalry, and for the free market of specialties.

The Southern District, marked ’Residence,’ was by far the largest, a breathtaking expanse that would house the six billion Gods of the new Pantheon.

These were not homes; they were mansions, each one a unique expression of its owner’s nature, from Zir’s chaotic, fun-house-like fortress to Asura’s serene, minimalist temple of redemption.

And in the very center, the net from which all four districts radiated, was a palace that dwarfed all others, a structure that seemed to be woven from the very fabric of the cosmos itself.

It was the Emperor’s Palace, a home Sunny had initially refused, but the collective, insistent, and loyal will of his six billion Gods had left him no choice.

He was their Emperor, and an Emperor required a throne.

This entire city was a paradox of the ancient and the futuristic. Automated, flying cars, capable of morphing into any design a God could imagine, zipped silently through the air, while down below, Gods could walk on simple, cobblestone paths, a nostalgic shadow of their lost lives on Endor.

Thea’s omniscient presence would act as the city’s nervous system, a perfect, invisible assistant.

Yet the Gods had also voted to create new, single-purpose demigods to act as butlers and caretakers for their mansions, a strange, new divine hierarchy of their own making.

This city was the future. And it was a future

Sunny smiled, his mind already seeing the new products for the Cosmic Shop.

The first, of course, would be the custom-made planets.

The second, and perhaps even more profitable, would be the entry passes for the God-Maker realm.

He knew his ambitious, newly-awakened Gods, now with a taste of their own potential, would pay any price for a chance to accelerate their growth by a hundred thousand times.

"Heh," Sunny chuckled to himself. "This is going to sell like hotcakes."

He turned his attention back to Builder, who was meticulously adding a new design to the Southern District.

"Hey, Builder," Sunny said, his voice casual. He looked at a new object in his hand, an item he had just pulled from the vast, newly-acquired treasury of the Realm of Advancement.

It was a simple yet heavy hammer, but it pulsed with an ancient, dormant power.

"Take this" Sunny said, and he casually tossed the hammer to the Builder.

"What is this, Your Majesty?" Builder asked, his eyes still on his blueprint as he reached out a hand to catch this object.

The moment his fingers touched the hammer’s grip, his hand plummeted.

BOOM!

The hammer, weighing more than a star, smashed into the newly-laid floor of Sunny’s God space.

The ground shattered, cracks spider-webbing out for miles.

Builder stared at the simple, impossibly heavy object, his body trembling, his mind blank with shock.

"It’s called the Hammer of Creation," Sunny said, a satisfied grin on his face. "A relic from the past. A God named Arceus, an ancient friend of Adam’s, used this very hammer to forge many of the great wonders of the old multiverses."

He sent the description to Builder’s system panel.

He began to cradle it. He rubbed his chubby, face against the cold, iron head, a sound that was half-laugh, half-sob, erupting from his throat.

Sunny, seeing this display of passion, just smiled and waved his hand, a silent dismissal.

Builder, his eyes gleaming with a new, fanatic fire, immediately got back to work.

The beautiful, harmonious city he had designed was now obsolete. It was time to build a masterpiece.
