Floor merchants unlock new ways to appear

Plop!

The fishhook entered the water, splashing a bit.

Lin Feng, unhurried, sat on the reef, feeling the waves lap at his legs.

Soon after, the fishing rod trembled slightly, and a pulling force came through.

"It got hooked so quickly?"

Lin Feng was overjoyed, then with a slight pull, he directly pulled the fishhook out of the sea.

A Floor Merchant was hooked, but due to the lighting and Lin Feng casting it a bit far, he didn't realize it was a Floor Merchant.

"Oh, a big one!"

Looking at the dark silhouette he pulled into the air in the distance, Lin Feng worked even harder.

Something that big, even if it was a fish, probably wasn't ordinary.

Whoosh!

Thud!

The Floor Merchant, hooked by the fishhook, was just about to pull it off when, in the next second, Lin Feng suddenly tugged the rod, causing the Floor Merchant to instantly lose his balance and fall back into the sea.

This whole ordeal nearly took half of the Floor Merchant's life.

At this point, Lin Feng also vaguely realized something was off, because the thing he reeled in looked somewhat like a human!

Whoosh!

Lin Feng pulled the fishing rod again, and the Floor Merchant returned to mid-air.

This time, Lin Feng saw clearly.

It really was a human! Oh no! It was a Floor Merchant!

"I'm truly speechless! Why are the Floor Merchant's appearances always so unique!"

Before, he would pop out of pools to scare people, and now he can be fished out of the sea.

After realizing the big fish he hooked was a Floor Merchant, Lin Feng's actions became much gentler. If he pulled too hard and lowered his favorability with the Floor Merchant, it would be Lin Feng's loss.

A minute or two later, Lin Feng finally managed to safely pull the Floor Merchant up.

"Hey, hey, hey, are you okay?"

Seeing the Floor Merchant, who seemed to have fallen unconscious, Lin Feng quickly patted his face.

"Holy crap, is this Floor Merchant that weak? He really passed out!"

Lin Feng scratched his head, pondering how to wake this Floor Merchant up.

Leaving him here was definitely not an option; it would only lower his own favorability.

"Healing Potion should work, right? Oh well, let's try it."

Lin Feng quickly took out a bottle of Healing Potion from his System Space and poured it down the Floor Merchant's throat.

The medicine quickly took effect.

Although Healing Potion is for treating injuries, it also has the effect of restoring vitality, so, after the medicine took effect, the Floor Merchant's condition began to improve rapidly.

Soon after, his fingers trembled slightly.

"Phew, at least he didn't die."

Lin Feng immediately let out a sigh of relief.

After waking up, the Floor Merchant looked around in a daze.

"What is this place?"

He only remembered that he was just trading with someone else. Just as the other party paid and he was about to deliver the goods, a suction force came, and then he lost consciousness. When he woke up again, he found himself in the ocean, hooked by a fishhook.

After struggling a few times underwater, he passed out again, and when he woke up this time, he saw the human in front of him.

"Is that fishhook yours?"

The Floor Merchant rubbed his head and asked. He could sense that Lin Feng was a major customer of their merchants.

"Huh? What fishhook? I saw you washed ashore by the waves, and then I just happened to save you."

Lin Feng quickly put the random fishing rod into his System Space and said.

"Is that so...?"

Evidently, the Floor Merchant's head hadn't fully recovered yet.

"Oh no! I haven't delivered the goods yet! I need to hurry back and deliver them, otherwise, it would damage the reputation of our merchant race!"

The Floor Merchant quickly stood up from the ground, then looked at his surroundings.

He swiped his small hand, wrapped in black cloth, and was about to slip away.

Seeing this, Lin Feng knew the other party was about to leave, so he quickly called out to him.

"Wait a moment, what do you have there? Let me see if I need anything. Anyway, your customer has already paid and won't leave before receiving the goods, so there's no need to rush."

"Uh, that's true."

The Floor Merchant thought for a moment, then retracted his short legs he had stepped out.

"See what you need. These are the only things left. They are all goods I sourced from a technology plane, but there's not much left, and I haven't had time to restock."

As each item was taken out, Lin Feng scanned them one by one with his scanning gun.

There were a total of four items, all technological products.

The first item, a military-issue steel helmet, even looked somewhat like a World War II helmet, but its protective capabilities were terrifying. The intuitive data displayed on the scanning gun showed it could remain intact at the epicenter of a nuclear explosion, but these were army equipment issued to convict soldiers in the Penal Camp.

Origin: Silver Heart Empire, Price: 800 gold coins.

Although it sounded impressive, it didn't save lives. It could survive a nuclear explosion, but do you think the human wearing it could?

The second item, a nanofiber emitter, capable of emitting nanofibers only 1/10 the diameter of a human hair. These nanofibers, made of nanomaterials, possessed extremely high strength and great toughness, and their two ends could be fixed anywhere.

It could easily cut an aircraft carrier in transit into two perfectly flat halves.

However, this emitter could only emit one hundred meters of nanofibers, so the price was not expensive, only five hundred gold coins.

Also from the Silver Heart Empire.

The third item, an Overclocked Solar Panel 2.5 x 4. From the name, it was clearly a solar power panel, but since it also originated from the Silver Heart Empire, it was certainly not ordinary.

It was specially equipped for pioneers going to other planets for colonization. Its conversion efficiency was very high; such a ten-square-meter solar panel was enough for the daytime electricity needs of a thousand-person planetary colonial base.

Price: 300 gold coins.

The fourth item, a portable energy battery. Because it was made of malleable material, it could fit all battery slots. There were ten in total, each priced at ten gold coins. This item was not from the Silver Heart Empire, but from the hands of a space pirate.

Looking at these four items, Lin Feng thought about it and decided to take them all. He wasn't short on gold coins, and these things did look good.

In the end, he spent a total of seventeen hundred gold coins.

However, under Lin Feng's shameless haggling, he cut directly to the major artery, and in the end, the Floor Merchant was forced to round it down, selling the whole package to Lin Feng for a thousand gold coins.

Money for goods, goods for money. After the transaction was completed, the Floor Merchant waved his hand, ran a few steps forward, and then instantly disappeared from Lin Feng's sight.
