Battle Royale 5

"Woof~ Woof woof!"

"Oh, what do we have here, a Wolfdog!"

When the man saw the Wolfdog emerge from the ruins in a sorry state, he wasn't wary at all; he even reached out and called to the Wolfdog.

The Wolfdog obediently walked over, limping all the while. It must be said, its acting was truly superb.

"Tsk tsk tsk, good boy, here's a sausage for you."

The man put down his gun, then pulled a sausage from his pocket. After tearing open the wrapper, he tempted the Wolfdog.

"Woof!"

The large Wolfdog barked cautiously, then bit onto the sausage. Suddenly, the Wolfdog's previously weak gaze turned incredibly fierce, its mouth wide open, and it bit down hard on the man's hand.

"Damn it! Ah! You beast! Let go!"

"Ah!!"

The man instantly cried out in pain. Just as his other hand reached for his gun, the Wolfdog suddenly let go and immediately pounced on the man, pinning him down fiercely.

Lin Feng then slowly emerged from the ruins, a dagger playing in his hand.

"Woof~"

The Wolfdog, seeing Lin Feng, obediently climbed off the man.

"Good boy."

Lin Feng rubbed the Wolfdog's head, then pressed his knee against the man's throat.

"You're eliminated~"

"Despiβ€”"

Pfft!

A knife to the throat, and the man died instantly, his eyes wide in disbelief. After casually tossing the body into a shell crater, Lin Feng returned to the ruins.

"Hmm? What's this?"

On his way back, Lin Feng suddenly saw a newspaper pressed under a stone.

It had some pictures and English text, but to Lin Feng's surprise, some sections even had Chinese translations!

After reading it, Lin Feng roughly understood what had happened in this place.

This country had experienced a military coup, splitting into two major factions: the Revolutionary Army and the Government Army. With the help of foreign powers, the Revolutionary Army had acquired ample weaponry, even biochemical weapons...

From this damaged newspaper, it seemed the Revolutionary Army was likely the antagonist, as most of the pictures depicted Revolutionary Army soldiers executing civilians.

Tar City, where Lin Feng currently was, was the capital of the Government Army. After failing to conquer it for a long time, the Revolutionary Army resorted to biochemical weapons and subjected the capital to prolonged bombardment.

"So that's how it is."

Lin Feng nodded slightly. So, was the radiation zone the so-called biochemical weapon?

No wonder those bandits suddenly disappeared; they must have known in advance that this area would be covered by the radiation zone and had run away.

After figuring this out, Lin Feng also understood where the previous air drops and bombardments came from.

The air drops were likely delivered by the Government Army to any civilians who might still be alive in this area, which explains why they were all food and medicine. The bombardments were probably carried out by the Revolutionary Army; their location was very close to the air drop points, likely intended to bomb the civilians who went to get supplies.

These Revolutionary Army members must be insane.

Didn't they launch a military coup to seize national power? But with their current actions, how could they possibly win the hearts of the people later on?

It would be a miracle if they succeeded.

Lin Feng inwardly complained, casually tossing the newspaper away.

By this time, most of the remaining survivors had arrived in Tar City.

The map showed eighteen survivors remaining.

Hiding eighteen people in such a large city was still quite easy, so the poisonous circle would definitely continue to shrink.

Lin Feng's position was near the center of the safe zone, so he didn't need to worry.

However, most people had the same idea as Lin Feng, and soon, the sounds of cars, gunshots, and explosions echoed from Lin Feng's vicinity.

Most people had one goal: run to the center of the safe zone, then occupy advantageous positions to ambush others.

Bang bang bang bang bang bang!

A very rhythmic burst of gunfire came from beside Lin Feng. Through a crack in the wall, Lin Feng saw a man in combat pants, like a war god, walking and shooting. Several people who were fighting in a chaotic melee, using cars as cover, were all shot in the head and killed by him.

"My goodness, could this be a mercenary?"

Lin Feng was even more astonished watching the opponent skillfully reload with one hand.

He definitely couldn't let someone like that remain until the end; it was indeed more comfortable to be a hidden attacker.

Lin Feng aimed through the crack at the man crouching behind the car.

At this moment, his entire back was exposed to Lin Feng's view.

Bang bang bang!

Three bullets from an AK47 accurately hit the man.

Lin Feng's position was also exposed; he needed to find another hidden spot to crouch.

"Ding dong! The radiation zone is about to shrink. Please proceed to the safe zone."

This time, the safe zone became very small, only covering four buildings. It seemed to be the final circle.

There were now eight survivors remaining.

As the safe zone shrank, the gunshots in the city never ceased.

Suddenly, Lin Feng felt as if his back had been punched by a strong man, almost causing him to fall to the ground.

"Hiss! Good thing I have a bulletproof vest."

Lin Feng quickly found a wall to hide behind, feeling his back which was already covered in blood. However, the bullet didn't seem to have fully penetrated his flesh; it was half-stuck in the bulletproof vest.

The person who ambushed Lin Feng was surprised that Lin Feng wasn't killed by one shot, and then continued to shoot at the wall where Lin Feng was hiding, attempting to shoot through the wall and kill Lin Feng.

A moment later, the gunshots stopped. It wasn't that the man gave up the chance to kill Lin Feng, but rather that he had been discovered by another person.

After the gunshots stopped, Lin Feng unhesitatingly left the broken wall and found another spot.

Bang bang bang bang!

Lin Feng seized the opportunity and killed another unlucky person who was trying to cross the street to avoid the radiation zone.

Fortunately, no heavy weapons had been discovered yet. If a grenade launcher were to appear now, cover would be useless.

Five people remained, and the radiation zone shrank again. Eventually, the final safe zone only covered the building Lin Feng was in.

The other four people scrambled from all directions, racing against time.

Lin Feng crouched by the window, first killing one person, then running to the only staircase that led to the second floor.

Bang bang bang bang bang bang β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”

......

After a burst of gunfire, only two survivors remained: Lin Feng and the person he had previously cooperated with.

"Is that God Lin!"

Song Fei, leaning against the wall on the first floor, shouted loudly.

Hearing this familiar voice, Lin Feng was a bit surprised. This guy actually survived until now?

"Roar..."

"Good boy, don't move around."

Lin Feng stroked the Wolfdog's head and said.

"Song Fei?"

"God Lin! Haha, I knew you'd make it to the end. Come on, let's have a match!"

Song Fei laughed a few times, then pulled out a grenade.

"Lin Feng, hehe, I want to see how many good things you have in your Elevator."

Song Fei said softly, looking at the grenade. He pulled the pin, waited two seconds, and then threw it directly onto the second floor.

The second floor of this building was a small attic; the grenade's blast radius could completely cover the entire attic. Lin Feng's pupils constricted when he saw the grenade. The next moment, a black shadow shot past him.

"Woof!"

The large Wolfdog suddenly picked up the grenade in its mouth, but just as it rushed to the window, the grenade instantly exploded!

Boom!
