Kuze opens the door to a new world
When Kuze saw someone in the pavilion in the courtyard, he immediately guessed it was Lin Feng.
"Alright, you go ahead."
Kuze said to the guard, then jogged into the pavilion.
"Where's Miss Lina? Didn't she entertain you?"
"Oh, she went to prepare some snacks. Look, here she comes."
Lin Feng gestured with his lips towards Kuze's back.
"Then it's fine. Oh, and who is this?"
Kuze noticed the girl sitting beside Lin Feng. Although she kept her head down, Kuze could still sense her lovely face.
"Um... her name is Sylvie, my...."
Lin Feng didn't know what to say for a moment. His maid? It seemed a bit off to leave his maid for someone else to take care of.
Saying she was his sister seemed even more out of place.
Fortunately, Kuze was experienced and immediately understood the relationship between Lin Feng and the girl.
"I understand, Brother Lin. No need for too much introduction, haha. Little sister-in-law, don't be shy. I'm not a good person, no, I'm not a bad person."
Originally, Kuze said this as a joke, hoping to ease Sylvie's tension, but unexpectedly, she became even more nervous.
Her small body was even trembling constantly.
"Uh, alright, stop teasing her. Besides giving you this translated book, I have one more thing: her. Please help take care of her. She can just stay here, as it's not very convenient on my side."
"Damn, I thought it was something serious. I have plenty of empty rooms here. Don't worry, it will be absolutely comfortable and safe."
Kuze patted his chest, very confident.
However, Sylvie's emotions were a bit off.
"Master... I, I..."
She tried to speak but truly didn't know how to express her thoughts. She could tell at a glance that Kuze was a young master from a prominent family.
Because of her previous inhumane experiences, she truly didn't want to become a toy in the hands of a rich young master again.
She had even prepared to follow Lin Feng for the rest of her life, but she didn't expect Lin Feng to hand her over so quickly.
"You..."
Seeing Sylvie's eyes filled with tears, Lin Feng was a bit speechless.
He was quite confident in Kuze's character. Although he might be a bit eccentric at times, he was still a normal person.
"Alright, he's not like those people. He's a good person. You can rest assured here."
Lin Feng said unequivocally.
Kuze, standing by, was bewildered and pinched his rather handsome face.
"Am I that scary?"
Just one look and he scared the girl into tears?
Was it because he had been reading too many sage books lately?
Hiss~ It's possible. It's all Brother Lin's fault for teaching him to eat kidneys.
Kuze analyzed in his mind. As for Sylvie, he naturally didn't dare to have any other thoughts, as she was clearly Lin Feng's person.
Besides, Kuze was righteous and only loved reading sage books.
"Also, tell her not to call him 'Master', just 'Kuze'."
"Yes, yes, yes. Just call me by my name, same as Brother Lin."
Kuze laughed heartily, trying to appear more amiable.
"Kuze."
Sylvie said softly.
"Hmm, isn't that better? How's your research on the book I gave you last time?"
Lin Feng nodded in satisfaction and asked.
"Uh, it's a bit difficult, but... it's alright."
Kuze nodded. Although it was new knowledge he had never encountered, it was no problem for a genius mage like him.
"Hmm, this is a new book. When you finish that one, just read this one."
With that, Lin Feng took out the translated book from the System Space.
"Alright."
Kuze nodded and picked them up, only to find there were two books.
"This one too?"
"Ah? This one, you can read it as a novel if you like."
Lin Feng saw it was the comic that Zhang Yun had given him, so he didn't care much. It was just a romance, and he didn't like to read those.
"Oh, a novel, alright, I like to read those too."
Kuze nodded and didn't open it.
"I have another question. Do you know what kind of family the Mu Family is?"
Lin Feng thought of the rich young masters who wanted to capture his pet and asked.
"Mu Family? What's that?"
Kuze frowned and thought for a moment. His family was already among the top families in the kingdom, but among the families he knew, there was no Mu Family.
"You don't know this family?"
"I don't know. Maybe it's a small family from a certain region. What's wrong, did they provoke you?"
Kuze shrugged.
"I chopped down two young masters from their family because they wanted to capture my pet."
"Ah, this...."
Kuze scratched his head, an idea forming in his mind.
"Alright, that's all for today. I'll be leaving first."
Lin Feng said after getting the answer he wanted.
"So soon? Alright."
Kuze nodded and saw Lin Feng out the door.
Returning to the courtyard, seeing Sylvie still very scared, Kuze thought of a good idea.
"Miss Lina, for the next period, you will take care of this little sister. You must take care of her like your own sister, understand?!"
"Yes, Young Master Kuze."
Miss Lina bowed slightly, then extended her hand to Sylvie.
"Let's go, little sister. How about I take you to pick a room?"
"Okay, thank you, Mas—Sister."
Perhaps because they were both female, Sylvie's emotions stabilized a bit, and she gently took Miss Lina's hand.
Meanwhile, Kuze called over a middle-aged man holding a long saber.
"Go investigate a small family called the Mu Family. Two young masters from their family just died, so they should be holding a funeral. After you investigate, clear them out."
"Yes, Young Master Kuze."
The middle-aged man bowed respectfully, then disappeared instantly.
"Damn, using a substitute doll to see me again, huh?"
Kuze cursed with a smile, looking at the middle-aged man who had instantly vanished.
"Oh, I'll go back and see how the novel Brother Lin gave me is."
Kuze took out the white book and opened the first page.
"Hmm? These illustrations are so detailed!"
Kuze's eyes were immediately drawn to the pictures, as if a door to a new world had opened. He eagerly ran back into the house to continue flipping through it.
............
"Good, good book! Hahaha!"
A moment later, Kuze's loud laughter came from inside the house. Wasn't this much better than his sage books?

Lin Feng returned to the Elevator and cultivated for not long before the System gave another floor prompt. However, this time there were no great rewards, so Lin Feng chose to continue cultivating.
Unless it was a floor where the System specifically issued a quest, Lin Feng didn't want to go to any floor now.
He only wanted to focus on cultivation, and then go to the Polar Mountain Range to stir things up.
"Oh, didn't Kuze say he was going to the Polar Mountain Range in three days? I'll go with him then."
Lin Feng thought to himself. With his current Golden Core strength, he hoped he could fly higher.
