222: Chapter 222 Suppressing the Twin Fiends

But their appearance was also wretched to the extreme.

The gray robes on their bodies were tattered, covered in slits sliced by lasers.

On their exposed skin, red spots from toxic gas corrosion were everywhere.

The auras of the two were even more listless, clearly having consumed a massive amount of vital energy in the previous mechanical bombardment.

"It stopped?"

Thunder Fiend panted heavily, his eyes filled with the relief of having survived a disaster.

"It seems that little animal's traps only have this much capability."

"The energy must have run out, right?"

Wind Fiend had a gloomy face, staring intently at that star alloy wall.

"Stop talking nonsense!"

"While we have the chance, let's work together to break this wall!"

"Once we're out, we must tear that little bastard Lin Fan into ten thousand pieces!"

The two looked at each other, both seeing the killing intent in each other's eyes.

As dignified Grandmaster experts, when had they ever suffered such a loss?

If they didn't skin Lin Fan and pull out his tendons today, how could they continue to hold their heads up in the Capital?

"Boom!"

The two erupted with their final strength simultaneously.

Fierce winds howled around Wind Fiend, transforming into a green wind blade.

Lightning flickered all over Thunder Fiend's body, condensing into a purple thunderball.

Wind and Thunder Combination!

This was their famous ultimate technique, with power enough to shake mountains.

Just as they were about to strike the wall.

"Click!"

A small door on the side of the warehouse suddenly opened slowly.

A slender figure walked out of the darkness unhurriedly.

It was a person covered head to toe in dark gold battle armor.

The lines of the armor were smooth yet ferocious, with a mysterious runic luster flowing over every plate.

Especially that mask—it had no facial features, only a pair of electronic eyes emitting a red glow, staring at them coldly.

"Yo, are you two in such a hurry to leave?"

"My hospitality hasn't ended yet."

The voice coming from beneath the armor, processed by a voice changer, sounded exceptionally deep and metallic.

But that punchable tone—The Wind and Thunder Duo would recognize it even if it were turned to ash.

"Lin Fan!"

Wind Fiend roared through gritted teeth.

"You finally decided to show your face!"

"I thought you were going to hide in your turtle shell forever!"

Thunder Fiend gave a sinister laugh, the thunderball in his hand crackling.

"There is a path to heaven, but you refuse to take it; there is no gate to hell, yet you barge in."

"Since you're looking for death, don't blame me for being ruthless!"

In their view, Lin Fan although he had some strange methods, was ultimately just a young man in his early twenties.

Even if he had started cultivating from the womb, at most, he would be an Early-stage Grandmaster.

But they were veteran Late-stage Grandmaster experts!

Even if injured and severely drained, crushing a little Early-stage Grandmaster ant was still more than easy.

"Die!"

Thunder Fiend wasted no words and slammed the thunderball forward.

Purple lightning sliced through the air, carrying an aura of total destruction, heading straight for Lin Fan's face.

This strike was as fast as lightning.

It gave Lin Fan no chance to dodge at all.

However.

Facing this certain-kill strike, Lin Fan stood his ground, not moving an inch.

He didn't even assume a defensive posture.

"Courting death!"

Thunder Fiend sneered in his heart.

As expected, he was just an inexperienced kid; he had actually been scared witless.

"Boom!" The thunderball slammed solidly into Lin Fan's chest.

Terrifying lightning energy erupted instantly, swallowing Lin Fan whole in a burst of purple light.

"Hahahaha!"

"Pathetic!"

Thunder Fiend laughed wildly.

"This is the consequence of offending our Zhao family!"

But his laughter hadn't even lasted two seconds before it came to an abrupt halt.

It was as if an invisible giant hand had seized his throat.

Because after the lightning dissipated.

Lin Fan was still standing there.

On that dark gold battle armor, not even a single scorch mark was left behind.

Even, he reached out and lightly brushed off non-existent dust from his chest.

"That's it?"

Lin Fan tilted his head, his red electronic eyes flickering.

"Did you not eat today?"

"Or are the Grandmasters of your Zhao family all just these kinds of people who only know how to set off fireworks?"

Thunder Fiend's eyes bulged, nearly popping out of their sockets.

"This... how is this possible?!"

"Even a fellow Late-stage Grandmaster wouldn't dare take that hit head-on!"

"You... what kind of monster are you?!"

Lin Fan didn't answer.

He slowly raised his right hand.

"Since you've finished your performance, it's my turn."

"Indestructible Golden Body, activate!"

With a low shout from Lin Fan.

A layer of dazzling golden luster suddenly surfaced on his skin.

This golden light bloomed through the gaps in the armor, making him look like a golden-armored God of War descended to earth.

Simultaneously.

A suffocatingly terrifying vital energy erupted from within his body.

This aura was so strong that it wasn't even slightly weaker than The Wind and Thunder Duo in their prime!

"Grandmaster... Grandmaster Fourth Stage?!"

Wind Fiend cried out in terror.

"This is impossible!"

"The intelligence said you were just a businessman who got lucky!"

"How can you have such a cultivation level?!"

Lin Fan sneered.

"Intelligence?"

"That's for the dead to read."

"Divine Ember Flame!"

"Boom!"

A ball of dark red flames instantly enveloped Lin Fan's fist.

The moment the flames appeared, the surrounding air was scorched into distortion.

That terrifying heat made The Wind and Thunder Duo feel their very souls trembling.

"Run!"

Wind Fiend finally realized something was wrong.

This was no little lamb.

This was clearly a primordial beast in sheep's clothing!

He turned and was about to rush toward the wall that hadn't been broken yet.

"Can you escape?"

Lin Fan's figure vanished from the spot instantly.

The next second.

He appeared right in front of Wind Fiend.

His speed was so fast it was like teleportation.

"Get lost!"

Wind Fiend was terrified and instinctively struck out at Lin Fan with his palm.

Lin Fan didn't dodge or evade, punching out directly.

"Crack!"

Fist and palm met.

The crisp sound of bones snapping echoed through the entire warehouse.

Wind Fiend's arm instantly twisted into a bizarre angle.

But he wasn't done yet.

Lin Fan changed his fist into a claw, seizing Wind Fiend's shoulder.

"Get... down!"

With a thunderous shout from Lin Fan.

"Rip!"

A scalp-numbing tearing sound rang out.

Blood splattered everywhere.

One of Wind Fiend's arms was actually torn off by Lin Fan with brute force!

"Aah!!!"

A shrill scream, like the howling of ghosts and wolves.

Wind Fiend was twitching in pain, collapsing to the ground and rolling around.

On the other side, Thunder Fiend saw this and his legs went weak, causing him to kneel directly on the ground.

"Don't... don't kill me!"

"I surrender!"

"I am an enshrined expert of the Zhao family. I have money, I can give you money!"

Thunder Fiend was now completely terrified out of his wits.

Grandmaster dignity, expert demeanor—in the face of absolute violence, they were all bullshit.

This Lin Fan was simply not human!

He was a total monster!

Lin Fan casually tossed the severed arm onto the ground like trash.

He looked down at the shivering Thunder Fiend kneeling on the ground, his red electronic eyes full of mockery.

"Money?"

"Do you think I'm short on money right now?"

"And besides..."

Lin Fan slowly crouched down and reached out to pat Thunder Fiend's old face, which was covered in cold sweat.

"People from your Zhao family, in my eyes..."

"...are worth much more than money."
