115: Five Thunders Chasing Souls! The undisputed number one!

After a brief rest, the highly anticipated finals finally began!

Unlike the preliminary rounds, the rules of the finals were more brutal and direct.

All eight qualifying teams would simultaneously enter the colosseum, engaging in unrestricted free-for-all combat amidst an ever-emerging, increasingly powerful tide of insectoid beasts!

Ultimately, the final champion would be determined through a comprehensive evaluation based on the quantity and quality of insectoid beasts each team eliminated, as well as their survival time.

This tested not only a team's overall strength but also their tactical strategy and on-the-spot adaptability.

Boom——!

The massive gates opened once more. From the surrounding sixteen doors, in front, behind, left, and right, insectoid war beasts surged forth in a frenzy.

Lin Mengzi raised her fair, jade-like hand.

"Come forth, my undead!"

Following her ethereal voice, the Skeletal Dragon King and two eight-armed skeletal colossi descended upon the battlefield once more, exuding a suffocating, terrifying pressure.

Other teams also began to reveal their unique abilities one after another, unveiling their trump cards and standing ready for battle.

The live battle commenced.

Mordi of the Angela Conglomerate had a flash of sinister, cold light in his eyes.

Seizing an opportunity, the seemingly ordinary silver gloves on his wrists suddenly erupted with a dazzling blue light.

"Ha!"

With a fierce wave of his hand, an invisible force instantly acted upon the edge of the battlefield. Several elite-level insectoid vanguards, [Swift Slashers]—medium-sized with forelimbs mutated into sharp bone blades and possessing extreme speed—that had just charged out of a gate, had their movement trajectories abruptly altered!

As if grabbed by an invisible giant hand, those Swift Slashers let out sharp shrieks. Helplessly, they were hurled at high speed towards Lin Mengzi's location!

"Oops, my apologies, my hand slipped!"

A feigned look of apology appeared on Mordi's face, but inwardly, he sneered.

The Starship's rules forbade direct attacks between contestants.

However, his 'accidental' action was difficult to definitively classify as a violation.

While these Swift Slashers weren't the most powerful, their extreme speed and sharp attacks made them a deadly threat to a fragile necromancer like Lin Mengzi once they closed in!

"Damn! The Silver Lightning captain's hands are dirty!"

"So wicked, actually throwing insect beasts towards my beautiful queen."

"Teammates, help! Go protect my wife!" Some spectators, who called any attractive woman their wife, waved their fists excitedly.

"Despicable! Mordi, you're too vile!" roared Ishida Ryunosuke.

"Everyone, protect the core DPS, Miss Lin!"

Wang Hu, Zhao Zicong, and others almost reflexively roared, charging towards the rapidly approaching Swift Slashers, trying to use their own bodies to block the attack for Lin Mengzi.

They knew that if Lin Mengzi, their core damage dealer, was taken out, their entire team would be finished.

Their reaction was undeniably fast, and their loyalty was as clear as the sun and moon.

Taking advantage of the chaos within the Alliance Squad, other teams began frantically harvesting points!

Especially the Royal Guard. They acted as if they hadn't noticed the commotion here.

They continued to calmly and efficiently clear the insectoid beasts on the field. On the large screen, their points were accumulating rapidly.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Gates around the colosseum swung wide open. More, stronger, and more ferocious elite-level insectoid war beasts surged out like a tide!

Among them were terrifying entities with massive builds, exuding the aura of super-elite beings!

The entire colosseum instantly transformed into a hellish bloodbath!

Lin Mengzi temporarily had to deal with the insectoid war beasts in front of her.

Her control over the three undead weakened somewhat.

The insectoid war beasts immediately seized the opportunity, launching mucus or binding attacks against the eight-armed colossi and the bone dragon.

The Alliance Squad's rate of point acquisition noticeably decreased.

Just as everyone thought the tide of battle had turned...

Lin Fei, standing at the rear of the team and seemingly detached from the battlefield, finally made his move.

He didn't even glance at the Swift Slasher.

Lin Fei knew very well that his sister had bone shields, many skills, and even several undead she hadn't summoned yet.

Those few things couldn't threaten her at all.

What he needed to do now was to fiercely catch up on points.

Lin Fei raised his right hand, palm pushing forward, his voice calm:

"Ice Dragon, Twister!"

Whoosh——!!!

A massive, dozens-of-meters-tall, ultra-wide, icy-blue tornado suddenly erupted ahead!

Its powerful suction violently pulled in all insectoid beasts within a hundred-meter radius, as well as elite insectoids that had just charged out of gates further away.

Moreover, the Ice Dragon Twister could rapidly move across the battlefield.

Even several subordinates of Mordi and Allen were forcibly dragged and gathered into the tornado's center!

They struggled frantically within the freezing storm but couldn't escape its terrifying binding force, only able to let out futile roars of defiance.

"Damn you! You attacked my people! He violated the rules! He should be disqualified immediately, arrest him!" Mordi roared.

Lin Fei also gave a cold smile. His words appeared on the large screen.

"My apologies. The Ice Dragon Twister's path isn't something I can control. Blame your men for being blind, not running when they saw a tornado."

The captain acting as referee watched but did not declare Lin Fei in violation.

Immediately after, Lin Fei raised both hands once more.

Dazzling blue lightning madly converged in his palms, transforming into two majestic thunder dragons wreathed in an aura of destruction!

"Palm Thunder! Five Thunder Pursuing Souls!"

Roar——!!!

Accompanied by a dragon's roar that shook the heavens, the thunder dragon suddenly expanded!

Then, under the horrified gazes of everyone, it split from two into ten!

A full ten dragons composed of pure thunder roared, tore through the air, and with world-obliterating force, plunged resolutely into the insect horde bound by the Ice Dragon Twister!

BoomRumble rumble rumble——!!!

An indescribably terrifying explosion detonated in the center of the colosseum!

Blinding lightning andberserkfrost intertwined, forming an absolute Domain of death!

The elite insectoid beasts struggling within the Ice Dragon Twister didn't even have time to scream before they were instantly torn apart, electrocuted, and blasted into scattered flesh and charred remains by the ten thunder dragons!

A terrifying energy shockwave spread outwards, making the entire colosseum floor vibrate with a low hum!

And the points for Lin Fei's team skyrocketed as if riding a rocket!

As the light faded and the dust settled slightly...

The center of the colosseum, which had been packed with ferocious insectoid beasts, was now completely empty!

Only charred wreckage littered the ground, and the strong smell of burnt matter hung thick in the air.

Even those powerful lord-level insectoid beasts failed to escape this destructive strike, similarly turned to ash.

Mordi's subordinates, at the critical moment, either used grappling hooks or were rescued by Mordi using his gravity gauntlets, narrowly escaping.

However, this was also because Lin Fei temporarily didn't want to cause fatalities.

There were powerful experts on the Starship, and even in this greater world, there were stronger beings. Lin Fei had a mission to complete and couldn't openly kill people just yet.

Teaching the other side a lesson was something the captain allowed.

But directly killing someone with a skill would be slapping the captain in the face.

At that point, it would be difficult for the captain to handle.

Nevertheless, Lin Fei's move brought immense shock to the live audience.

One move!

Just one move!

The terrifying insect tide that had previously given all teams headaches and even caused heavy casualties...

Was just... completely erased by Lin Fei with such ease!

On the large screen, the Alliance Squad's points instantly soared to first place, opening up a massive gap with second place!

With an utterly overwhelming posture, they directly claimed the top spot!

"Holy shit! That's insane!"

"What kind of Divine Being team is this!"

"Those thunder dragons are amazing! He's a Qi master, right!"

"Wiped out the entire field!"

"This is what it truly means to wipe out the entire field in an instant!"
