125: Kill the Zerg Queen

Not only that, but under the infusion of a massive amount of experience points.

Lin Fei's Rank skyrocketed like a rocket, shooting up from Lv24 to Lv31 in one breath!

The army had been almost completely slaughtered, and the Queen of the Zerg was thoroughly panicked.

She had to escape from this place; as long as there is life, there is hope.

As long as she did not die, she would have the opportunity to gestate a new Zerg legion.

"Want to run? Big Sister, stop her!"

Lin Fei keenly sensed that the dying Queen of the Zerg seemed to want to escape.

"Alright! Leave it to me."

Lin Mengzi's cold, clear voice rang out.

She waved her fair hand, and the two Eight-Armed Skeleton Golems, which had been responsible for cleaning up the stragglers during the battle,

immediately took a step and charged out fiercely.

One on the left and one on the right, they completely sealed off the Queen of the Zerg's escape route!

Their eight thick arms swung out violently.

They ruthlessly struck the Queen of the Zerg, who was attempting to traverse the Void Realm.

Just as her body began to dematerialize, she was smashed to the ground!

"Awoo——!"

The Queen of the Zerg let out a cry of unwillingness, her Void Realm walk interrupted.

At this moment, she no longer had her previous arrogance and haughtiness; in her scarlet pupils,

only fear and despair remained.

"Brother Lin, we've come to help too!"

Ishida Ryunosuke and the others also joined the encirclement, unleashing various skills as if they cost nothing, pouring them onto the Queen of the Zerg who was being firmly held down by the Eight-Armed Golems.

Although their attacks caused limited damage to the Queen of the Zerg, they did interrupt her follow-up spellcasting.

"Big Sister, you've absorbed quite a bit of Soul power, haven't you?"

Lin Fei looked at Lin Mengzi while commanding the Lightning Dragon to continue its bombardment.

"Mhm, the higher my Spell power, the larger the range within which I can absorb the Soul Qi. Now I don't need to run over there to absorb the scattered Soul Qi!"

Lin Mengzi nodded, a hint of pleasant surprise appearing on her stunningly beautiful face.

"Although these Zerg Souls are impure, their quantity is truly massive. My Spell power has increased by over 15,000 points!"

Although far less monstrous than Lin Fei's, a 15,000-point increase in Spell power was a huge leap for Lin Mengzi at this stage.

"It seems we both had a great harvest this time."

"But Big Sister, just wait; I'll get you something even bigger," Lin Fei said with a confident smile.

Lin Mengzi naturally understood what he meant.

Her eyes lit up, and she spread her Mental Energy, driving the Bone Dragon to unleash a skill.

The Skeleton Dragon King opened its massive maw, and Shadow Dragon Breath, containing a rich aura of death and decay,

was ruthlessly spewed onto the Queen of the Zerg.

Lin Fei clawed with his five fingers, manipulating those swimming Thunder Dragons to frantically tear at and electrocute the Queen of the Zerg's body.

Under their combined assault, the once-unconquerable Queen of the Zerg saw her life force rapidly fading.

Her massive body twitched and cracked continuously, emitting bursts of unwilling roars.

"No! Impossible!" "I am the future King of the Zerg who will rule the Universe!"

Finally, amidst a shrill, piercing scream, the Queen of the Zerg's massive body exploded.

Turning into flesh and shattered carapace filling the sky, she completely lost all signs of life.

【You and your teammate Lin Mengzi have successfully killed the Queen of the Zerg (Abyssal Lord-Rank mutant) Lv49! Obtained a massive amount of experience points!】

【Your Rank has increased to Lv33!】【Your teammate Lin Mengzi's Rank has increased to Lv33!】

Surging experience points poured into their bodies once again, and both Lin Fei and Lin Mengzi's Ranks soared to Lv33!

"Whew! It's finally resolved."

Lin Fei let out a long sigh; the continuous high-intensity combat had left even him feeling deeply exhausted.

And exhaustion would affect his Sanity.

Lin Fei quickly took a bottle of Starry Sky Sanity Potion from his backpack.

He drank it, and the whispers of the Subspace in his ears finally faded away.

The moment the Queen of the Zerg exploded, a purple-black orb of light, emitting a rich aura of life and dark energy, slowly emerged from her remains.

Inside the orb of light, a fist-sized, crystal-clear, strange crystal, inside of which countless Zerg shadows seemed to swim, was floating quietly.

"It dropped!" Lin Mengzi's eyes lit up.

Lin Fei stepped forward and picked up the treasure.

【You have obtained an Epic-grade item: Queen of the Zerg Crystal!】

【Queen of the Zerg Crystal (Epic-grade): A strange crystal containing the Queen of the Zerg's massive life force and a portion of her Legacy. Fusing with it has a chance to activate and obtain the Zerg King-Rank Bloodline (this process is extremely dangerous and may lead to unpredictable mutations), or it can be used to forge powerful Zerg-type equipment or as a rare alchemy Material. Note: Under normal circumstances, one can only possess one Bloodline; fuse with caution.】

"King-Rank Bloodline! But unfortunately, it's the insect type."

Lin Fei looked at the crystal in his hand, a flash of contemplation in his eyes.

Although this Bloodline Power was tempting, the risks contained within it could not be underestimated. He did not intend to try it for the time being, so he put it away to study later.

Meanwhile, Lin Mengzi turned her gaze toward the Queen of the Zerg's gradually dissipating Soul.

She waved her fair hand gently.

"Resurrect, my Undead!"

Hum——!

A powerful and pure Undead power surged from within Lin Mengzi, turning into chains of ghostly blue, precisely binding the Queen of the Zerg's Soul, which was about to dissipate!

A shrill Soul shriek rang out; the Queen of the Zerg's Soul struggled frantically under the binding of the Undead chains, attempting to break free.

But in the face of Lin Mengzi's powerful Undead power, her resistance appeared so futile.

Soon, her Soul was completely purified, her original consciousness erased, turning into a ball of pure Soul energy, which then slowly merged into Lin Mengzi's palm.

Immediately after, Lin Mengzi fused that ball of Soul energy with the exploded corpse parts of the Queen of the Zerg!

A power of reversal appeared.

The Queen of the Zerg was restored, completely becoming a little sister under Lin Mengzi's command.

In her eye sockets, two balls of ghastly green Soul fire suddenly lit up!

She slowly stood up from the ground; the originally ferocious and cruel aura was gone, replaced by absolute loyalty and obedience to Lin Mengzi.

【You have successfully resurrected the Queen of the Zerg.】

【Queen of the Zerg (Lord-Rank Undead creature)】【Rank: Lv49】【Skills: Mind Blast, Swarm Whisper, Shadow Assault, Soul Harvest, Void Realm Walk】

Because the Sea of Swarms was gone.

The resurrected Queen of the Zerg was far less powerful than when her army was still alive.

But she still retained some core skills and possessed extremely high growth potential.

"Big Sister, you've added another fierce general."

"Hehe, that's right!"

Lin Mengzi looked at the new Undead before her with satisfaction, a smile appearing on her stunningly beautiful face.

Besides this unexpected Epic-grade crystal and the newly subdued Undead servant.

Among the dead Zerg corpses at the scene, a large number of Zerg Cores also dropped, scattered densely all over the ground.

Lin Fei and Lin Mengzi did not stand on ceremony and gathered them all, totaling over 1,500.

In the safe box, the maximum number of Zerg Cores that could be stacked in each slot was 999; storing these items occupied two full slots.

With this, the Zerg crisis that had swept through the entire temporary camp was completely over.

"We! We are saved!!" "Wuwuwu! Great! We survived!" "Thank you, Mr. Lin and Young Miss Lin!"

Inside the survivor camp, deafening cheers erupted.

The local NPCs were even more excited, hugging each other and celebrating their narrow rebirth.

Everyone's gaze, filled with gratitude, turned toward Lin Fei and Lin Mengzi.

These two young people, who had descended like divine soldiers, had turned the tide with their own strength and saved all of their lives!

Supported by other crew members, the One-Eyed Captain struggled to walk in front of Lin Fei and Lin Mengzi, wanting to give a military salute, but because of his injuries, he nearly fell.

Lin Fei was quick-witted and quick-handed, catching him.

"Captain, your injuries are severe; go get treated first."

"Mr. Lin... Young Miss Lin!" The One-Eyed Captain's voice choked with emotion, his single eye filled with hot tears of excitement and gratitude. "On behalf of all the survivors, I thank you for saving our lives! We will never forget this kindness! When we return to the Interstellar Alliance, I will definitely report your merits to the headquarters! We will give you the most generous rewards! You saved everyone!"

Just at this moment, Lin Mengzi's hundred-plus Undead porters returned to the camp in a grand procession, carrying a large amount of supplies collected from the abandoned base.

"Captain! We found a large amount of food and water at the human base! And medical supplies!" Zhao Zicong reported excitedly.

"Good! That's great!"

Looking at the mountain of supply boxes, the survivors erupted in cheers once again.

Food! Water! Medicine! These things that people didn't value much before had now become the most precious items.

With these, for the next seven days, they would no longer have to worry about survival. They only needed to wait in peace for the rescue team to arrive.

All of this was thanks to Lin Fei and Lin Mengzi's team!

The One-Eyed Captain looked at the scene before him, his old eyes streaming with tears of excitement.

"Great! That's great! This is simply a miracle! You are everyone's saviors!"
