14: A bit like a native

Lin Fei was too hungry; a body with 10,000 Vitality brought him an enormous appetite.

He ate over a hundred steamed buns at the breakfast stall.

He was still only half-full.

This was normal. When the Flash first gained his superpowers, he also developed a huge appetite.

Lin Fei was only limited by his size, but his Vitality surpassed that of a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Imagine feeding a T-Rex two bowls of porridge a day; how could it possibly be full?

Lin Fei rode his bicycle to the Node Tower as usual.

After one day, the players around the Node Tower were essentially like armed mercenaries.

More Advanced players wore full sets of ceramic bulletproof vests, chest rigs, high-capacity backpacks, and modified firearms.

Those slightly worse off had also managed to get their hands on low-level bulletproof vests and inferior pistols.

During the first day of trials, many players brought out a large number of firearms from the Free City world.

This caused the price of privately traded firearms among players to be far lower than the prices at the Node Tower.

Of course, the firearms flowing out of the Free City were all Level 1 firearms and Level 1 bullets.

Their power naturally couldn't compare to official goods from the Node Tower.

Perhaps higher-level trials would allow for better weapons and equipment.

Lin Fei scanned the crowd, while some people were sizing him and the beautiful girl beside him up.

A six-man team stood out in the crowd due to their equipment.

They wore uniform black tactical vests with spare magazines on their chests and held modified assault rifles with magnified scopes.

Leading them was a tall, sturdy man with a hideous scar on his face.

The scarred man's eyes instantly erupted with undisguised desire, and he licked his lips.

He winked at his team members, and they immediately understood and surrounded them.

"Tsk tsk, what a beautiful Young Miss."

The scarred man walked up to Lin Mengzi, a smile he deemed charming plastered on his face.

His gaze, however, unscrupulously scanned her up and down.

"We are the Black Wolf Squad, and we're preparing to tackle the second-floor trial. It looks like you haven't joined a team yet, Young Miss? Interested in joining us? We guarantee you'll be safe and sound, and we'll all be fully loaded inside and out."

Lin Mengzi frowned slightly and instinctively leaned closer to Lin Fei. She didn't like the way this man was looking at her.

Before Lin Mengzi could speak, Lin Fei stepped forward and blocked her behind him.

"She already has a team."

The smile on the scarred man's face froze instantly, then turned cold.

He looked up and down at Lin Fei, who was dressed ordinarily and looked like he had no equipment, his eyes filled with contempt: "Kid, is it your turn to run your mouth here? I'm inviting this Young Miss; what the hell does it have to do with you?"

"She is my sister." Lin Fei said flatly.

"Oh? Sister?" The smile on the scarred man's face became playful, filled with malicious intent.

"That's perfect. Brother will take your sister to do something exciting. You, as the little brother, can just wait here obediently. Or you can come and watch if you want; I'm into that sort of thing. That's what makes it interesting, hahahaha!"

"Long live the cuckold! Hehehe!"

The team members behind him also broke into a burst of laughter.

"Is it funny?" Lin Fei said coldly.

The scarred man acted quickly, pulling a pistol from his waist pouch and pointing it at Lin Fei.

"Who do you think you're talking to?"

"Huh?!"

"You piece of trash, get on your knees for me!"

Just as he finished his threat, Lin Fei moved.

No one saw how he moved.

It was as if he had teleported, as if someone had cut that moment out of time.

Lin Fei already had the scarred man lifted up with one hand.

Lin Fei's strength was a full 500 tons, five times stronger than the movie version of the Hulk (which some sources claim has a strength of 100 tons).

Five times!

If a guy with five times the strength of the movie Hulk could let someone act tough and still live, then Lin Fei might as well pack up and die.

Lin Fei also felt like laughing internally. Having only gained this power for two days, he was already feeling a bit like Homelander.

His terrifying strength increased bit by bit!

The scarred man's eyes bulged, his mouth wide open in silence!

He wanted to struggle, but Lin Fei's hand was as if welded in place, not moving a single inch.

"Sister, go inside and wait for me first." Lin Fei turned his head.

Lin Mengzi nodded vigorously. She knew Lin Fei was not who he used to be, but she couldn't help but urge him: "Be careful!"

After saying that, she didn't hesitate anymore and turned to run quickly into the Node Tower.

Watching Lin Mengzi's figure disappear into the tower gate, the last trace of warmth in Lin Fei's eyes vanished completely.

Only cruel and icy killing intent remained.

"Let our boss go!"

"If you don't let him go, we'll blow your head off!" Several people raised their assault rifles and aimed at Lin Fei.

"Hoo!"

Lin Fei let out a long breath, and his wrist suddenly exerted force!

Pfft!

With a dull sound, the scarred man's neck shattered directly.

His head flew off like a ball!

Blood gushed out like a fountain from the severed neck!

This bloody and brutal scene instantly plunged the surroundings into a deathly silence!

"Holy shit! Bo... Boss!" The other members of the Black Wolf Squad screamed in terror and instinctively raised their assault rifles, firing wildly at Lin Fei!

Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat—!

Dense gunfire erupted suddenly, and bullets poured down on Lin Fei like a storm!

However, what happened next made everyone's souls leave their bodies!

The terrifying defense brought by his 10,000 Vitality made these ordinary Level 1 firearm bullets feel like mere tickles!

At the same time, the corpse of the scarred man whose head Lin Fei had twisted off made a soft "pfft" sound, and a shimmering box popped out from where it lay.

It naturally contained the items from the scarred man's body.

【Successfully killed player Wang Hu, plundered 31,500 killing coins.】

Lin Fei didn't even look at the box; his goal was to wipe out this group of people!

In an instant, he had charged in front of one of the members!

Monument Breaking Hand!

His right palm, condensing terrifying power, whistled through the air and slammed heavily onto the tactical vest on the member's chest!

Boom!

The dull, thunderous sound was like a drum!

The member couldn't even scream; he was blown up by Lin Fei's palm, shattering into countless pieces of flesh, with a rain of blood scattering everywhere!

【Successfully killed player Liu Mang, plundered 12,800 killing coins.】

"Ahhh! You monster!"

The remaining four members completely collapsed!

They fired randomly while trying to retreat and run away in terror.

But Lin Fei was much faster than them!

His figure flickered, appearing behind another member like a teleportation, his left hand forming a claw and grabbing the opponent's arm!

He threw the person over a hundred meters away, crashing into a wall and punching a huge hole through it.

【Successfully killed player Sun Houzi, plundered 9,700 killing coins.】

Immediately after, his right leg swept out like a steel whip, snapping the third person's spine!

"Gah!!!"

The man let out a shrill scream, his upper and lower body folding together at a bizarre angle as he collapsed to the ground, twitching before dying.

【Successfully killed player Qian Duoduo, plundered 15,300 killing coins.】

The last two members were scared out of their wits, threw down their guns, and turned to run!

A cruel arc curled on the corner of Lin Fei's mouth.

He grabbed two stones.

Bang! Bang!

Headshots!

Although his marksmanship wasn't accurate, Lin Fei's ability to throw stones was quite impressive.

After all, he didn't have much to play with when he was little.

In just a few seconds.

Blood, internal organs, and severed limbs were scattered all over the ground.

The scene was bloody to the extreme!

【Successfully killed player... plundered killing coins...】

【Successfully killed player... plundered killing coins...】

A well-equipped, fierce-looking six-man squad, completely wiped out!

The whole process was clean and efficient, filled with suffocating violent aesthetics!

The scene of blood spraying was like a Quentin Tarantino movie.

In the plaza, no one dared to speak!

All the players who saw this scene froze in place, their mouths wide open.

Lin Fei shook the blood off his hands and walked expressionlessly toward the equipment boxes left behind by the corpses.

He bent down and picked up all the firearms, ammunition, armor, and several large backpacks that looked to have significant capacity.

The Node Tower could recycle these items in exchange for some killing coins.

This time, he obtained a total of nearly 80,000 killing coins.

After doing all this, Lin Fei looked up, his icy gaze sweeping over the terrified players in the plaza.

Everyone caught in his gaze instinctively lowered their heads or averted their eyes, not daring to look him in the eye.

No one dared to show any hostility or disrespect to him ever again.

To be fair, normal people would be terrified upon seeing a tiger, let alone Lin Fei's performance, which was simply that of a Tiger King mastering the Storm Nebula Split!

Lin Fei ignored them and turned to walk towards the entrance of the Node Tower.

This time, the crowd blocking his path parted automatically like Moses parting the Red Sea, opening up a wide passage for him.

In everyone's eyes, there was nothing left but awe.

Entering the first-floor hall of the Node Tower, Lin Fei first found Lin Mengzi.

"Lin Fei, are you okay?" Lin Mengzi asked, hurrying forward to hold his hand when she saw Lin Fei return.

"I'm fine, just a few pieces of trash. I happened to get some killing coins from them."

Lin Fei smiled, "Sister Mengzi, let's go, let's go get some equipment."

He walked straight toward the shop selling medical supplies.

He was going to use these newly plundered killing coins to buy the best life-saving items for Lin Mengzi.
