115: Styx, who loves life

A blood-colored figure poked its head out from the Sea of Blood, sizing up these two uninvited guests.

Minghe was pondering who these two were and whether he had offended them while listening to the Dao in Zixiao Palace, causing them to come directly to his door.

It shouldn't be; he, Minghe, had always been unusually cautious. He resolutely avoided those he couldn't beat, and even for those he could, he would think thrice.

Without a great Opportunity, he wouldn't easily make a move.

However, after thinking for a long time, he had no impression of these two.

He shouldn't have even seen them while listening to the Dao in Zixiao Palace.

Indeed, he couldn't see the depth of the two before him, so he pre-emptively assumed they were also among those who listened to the Dao in Zixiao Palace.

After all, when a Saint preaches the Dao, the renowned powerhouses of the world should all attend.

Yet, these two were not among them.

Seeing Minghe still looking wary, Qing Wu couldn't help but smile, "Fellow Daoist Minghe, we mean no ill. We've come this time only wishing to have a Dao Discussion with you."

"At the same time, we want to see if there's any suitable place in the Sea of Blood for perceiving the Laws of heaven and earth."

Dao Discussion?

Minghe instinctively disbelieved it.

Judging by the combat prowess shown by the red-clothed woman just now, he would likely be no match for her.

And this smiling man in green before him also looked like someone not to be trifled with.

He wondered when such two existences appeared in the Primordial World.

For two such existences to run into your home together, call you Fellow Daoist, and force a Dao Discussion upon you—anyone would be suspicious.

However, the part about finding a place in the Sea of Blood to perceive the Laws of heaven and earth was somewhat more plausible.

"In that case, please wait a moment."

After saying that, the figure turned into a wisp of blood Qi and merged into the Sea of Blood.

This was indeed another Incarnation.

Before long, another figure emerged from some corner.

Wrapped in blood Qi, his aura was much stronger than the previous Incarnation.

Minghe waved his sleeve, dispersing the obscuring blood Qi, "This poor Daoist is Minghe. Greetings, Fellow Daoists!"

Although he felt it was somewhat inappropriate to address them as Fellow Daoists, since the other party had taken the initiative, it didn't matter.

After exchanging pleasantries, Minghe led them into the depths of the Sea of Blood, where his Dao Field was located.

Passing through layers of blood waves, Minghe led the two to the depths of the Sea of Blood.

Unexpectedly, this core area, regarded as a dead land by the outside world, actually hid a strange space full of vitality.

The moment the blood-colored barrier parted, the scene before them stunned both Qing Wu and Yuan Feng.

A dark red palace floated in the center of the Sea of Blood, surrounded by blooming red lotuses, forming a natural protective array.

Small floating islands drifted about, vibrant with life, growing various strange spirit plants adapted to the Sea of Blood environment.

"Pardon the humble sight, this is my Asura Palace." Despite his words, Minghe's tone carried a hint of pride.

It was rare for the Sea of Blood to have guests, and he had never had a place to show off everything he had done.

The path to the palace was paved with blood jade, with strangely shaped creatures standing on both sides.

They were bizarre and varied; some had scales and sharp horns, some had bat wings on their backs, and some had vertical pupils on their foreheads.

Though carrying some baleful qi, their eyes were unusually clear, and they bowed as the guests arrived.

"To be able to create such creatures within the Sea of Blood, Fellow Daoist Minghe is indeed extraordinary." Yuan Feng nodded in approval.

She could also create life and knew well the impact of environment and Materials on creation.

To create life given the current environment of the Sea of Blood, while not impossible for her, would require some effort and study to achieve.

She might not necessarily do better than Minghe. Being able to move and possessing basic intelligence was already no easy feat.

"Just some servants I created when I had nothing to do," Minghe said dismissively, but he was clearly pleased by Yuan Feng's reaction.

Qing Wu recognized that these were likely the predecessors of the Asura tribe.

No wonder Minghe could immediately learn to create the Asura tribe after Nuwa created humans to become a Saint; he was already tinkering with these things.

It seemed he had underestimated Minghe; although he was cautious, he also had a heart that loved life.

"Fellow Daoist's Sea of Blood is truly a hidden paradise," Qing Wu praised sincerely.

Minghe paused for a moment, turned his head, and looked at Qing Wu with a sincere expression, as if he had found a soulmate.

"In the Primordial World, everyone says I, Minghe, am just scraping by to survive, but they do not know that within this Sea of Blood lies my own Great Dao."

For the first time, his tone revealed the pride belonging to a top-tier powerhouse.

Meeting this gaze, Qing Wu couldn't help but be startled, "Fellow Daoist is right."

However, he couldn't help but hesitate; would such a good Cultivator of the Primordial World really be the Old Ancestor Minghe who inherited Luo Hou's will and sought to prove his Dao through slaughter?

Could it be that after listening to the Dao at Hongjun's place, he realized that proving the Dao through slaughter might not work and thus changed his mind?

Inside the Asura Palace, Minghe led the two to a Dao platform constructed of blood-colored crystal.

The platform was lotus-shaped, with three Prayer Mats floating upon it, each circulating with a different dao rhyme.

The three sat down, and a unique Dao Discussion began.

Initially, Minghe still had a bit of a competitive mind.

But as the Dao Discussion deepened, he found that the two's understanding of the Great Dao was far beyond his reach.

Even when these two spoke of the Dao, there was a faint shadow of that Saint in Zixiao Palace.

"Although the Sea of Blood is a place of extreme Yin, it contains a sliver of vitality."

Qing Wu's fingertip condensed a wisp of green light, pointing at the center of the Dao platform, "Just like this karma fire red lotus, blooming in a place of death makes it all the more precious."

Blood-light flickered in Minghe's eyes as he fell into deep thought.

Having cultivated for billions of years, this was the first time he had heard someone interpret the essence of the Sea of Blood this way.

Unconsciously, the baleful qi around him gradually calmed; clearly, his state of mind had achieved a Breakthrough.

Subsequently, the topic gradually turned to where the Laws of heaven and earth manifested.

Minghe pondered for a moment, then suddenly waved his sleeve to summon an item—the Twelve-Grade karma fire red lotus.

The red lotus floated in the air, and as its petals unfurled, blood-colored flames burned quietly.

This fire had the ability to burn Karmic Obstruction and was the nemesis of all Cultivators with Karmic Obstruction.

"This lotus was born in a hidden place in the deepest part of the Sea of Blood, where the Laws of heaven and earth are most chaotic, yet also where it is easiest to perceive the true meaning of the Great Dao."

"Perhaps it is the place you two Fellow Daoists are looking for."

Having said that, he formed a hand seal, and the red lotus turned into a streak of blood-light, pointing toward the darkness in the deeper parts of the Sea of Blood.
