80: Chapter 80 The Conference Officially Begins

Choi Jong-eun nodded and said, "I know you people from the Dragon Country harbor a lot of resentment toward our Stick Country."

After all, in ancient times, our Stick Country was always a vassal state of the Dragon Country."

But I didn't expect that after entering modern society,"

Our Stick Country would leap forward to become a developed nation,"

While the Dragon Country remains a poor and backward developing country."

It's only natural that you people from the Dragon Country resent us,"

And by extension, it's normal for you to hate our Samsung phones."

Xue Haixin said flatteringly from the side, "Those are just the thoughts of some ignorant people."

People like us, who are educated and have received higher education, don't think that way."

We greatly admire the Samsung Group."

The technical strength of the Samsung Group is obvious to the whole world."

Hearing these pleasant words from Xue Haixin,"

Choi Jong-eun's anger dissipated a little."

He said, "You seem like a smart man."

However, regarding the cooperation you mentioned,"

How exactly do you want to cooperate?"

Finally, it was time to talk about cooperation."

Xue Haixin hurriedly straightened his expression and said, "It's like this."

Due to various reasons,"

Samsung phones indeed have no way to sell well in the Dragon Country's domestic market through normal channels."

But we can change our way of thinking."

I have another idea."

You could sell Samsung's screens to me."

When the time comes, we will install them on our Li Xiang Phones."

You should know that the Li Xiang Phone is currently the best-selling phone in the country."

The more Li Xiang Phones we sell,"

Doesn't that also prove Samsung's success?"

Moreover, you can just sit back and collect the money."

Why not do it?"

Hearing that Xue Haixin wanted Samsung's screen supply right off the bat,"

Choi Jong-eun showed a look of hesitation."

After all, Samsung's screens are recognized as the strongest,"

Which is why many consumers choose Samsung phones."

If he supplied these screens to another company,"

It would definitely affect the sales of Samsung phones."

But then he thought about how Samsung didn't have much market share in the Dragon Country anyway,"

So the impact shouldn't be too large."

After a long while, he slowly spoke, "It's possible,"

But I have one requirement."

Xue Haixin nodded. "Please tell me what your requirement is."

Choi Jong-eun said, "What does that kid from earlier do?"

Xue Haixin replied, "He also makes phones."

He's just one of the many phone manufacturers in the Dragon Country."

But his is a small factory,"

It can't compare to our Li Xiang Phone at all."

Choi Jong-eun nodded and said, "Fine."

As long as he can't compare to you, that's fine."

I can give you our best Samsung screens,"

But I have only one requirement:"

That is, help me finish him off!"

"Ah?"

Xue Haixin was shocked to hear this."

His eyes widened as he said, "President Choi,"

Killing someone is illegal in our Dragon Country!"

I'm afraid I can't do that."

However, his eyes darted around, and Xue Haixin continued in a lowered voice,"

"But,"

If you really want to finish him off,"

It's not impossible."

Choi Jong-eun shook his head. "When I say 'finish him off',"

I don't mean it in the literal sense."

I mean for you to use various methods to crush his company for me!"

Didn't you say he's not even in the same league as your Li Xiang Technology?"

It's like an elephant stepping on an ant."

So it should be very simple for Li Xiang Technology to finish him off, right?"

What Choi Jong-eun didn't expect was,"

That Xue Haixin clearly had real murderous intent toward Bai Jingqing just now."

Aren't they both from the Dragon Country?"

He didn't expect people from the Dragon Country to be so ruthless toward their own compatriots."

Xue Haixin breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this."

He nodded and said, "That is indeed quite simple."

If that's what you mean, then Li Xiang Technology can certainly do it."

As long as the Samsung Group is willing to provide me with the best screens,"

I believe that within half a year, I can definitely bankrupt his company!"

Choi Jong-eun nodded. "Good!"

No problem!"

Then our Samsung Group will provide you with the best screens in the world."

You must also keep your promise."

Once you've bankrupted him,"

Come and report to me!"

While they were plotting here,"

Bai Jingqing was wandering around other exhibition areas."

He looked at the technologies of most of the vendors,"

And didn't find any particularly outstanding technology."

So he felt that it should be very certain for his company, Huayao Communications' xiaomi 6, to win an award."

After wandering around for another two days,"

On the third day,"

The convention officially began."

This convention was mainly divided into three parts for reporting,"

Which were then evaluated by judges from various countries,"

With each part taking up one day."

The first day was for foundational technologies."

This part had nothing to do with Bai Jingqing."

The two entries he brought were scheduled for the second and third days respectively."

However, several domestic companies still signed up for this part,"

Including the Mobile Company, which conducted an experimental demonstration of 5G technology,"

Li Xiang Technology, which also displayed its Super Charge technology,"

And Samsung, which showcased its screen pixel arrangement upgrade solution, and so on."

Ultimately, the presentation by a local mobile communications manufacturer from the Eagle Country regarding increasing 5G peak rates and 5G universal standards won the Most Potential Award for foundational technology."

The second day was about smartphone demonstrations."

First, the world's best-selling smartphone, Apple, showcased its new Apple 7 series phones."

They highlighted how powerful the built-in A9 processor was,"

And that the phone also featured 3D Touch technology,"

Which could enable various functions when paired with this technology."

In addition, there was a new technology called Live Photo,"

Which could automatically generate a short video when taking a photo."

For photos that didn't turn out well,"

One could also extract the best frame from this video to generate a photo."

However, the downside was that it increased memory usage."

Apple's technologies were considered fairly standard,"

Without much innovation."

But everyone felt that this Apple A9 chip would likely become the most powerful processor on the planet once again."

Next, the world's second best-selling smartphone, Samsung, also showcased its new phone, the Galaxy Note Round."

When this phone was brought out and placed on the big screen,"

It instantly drew screams and gasps from the entire audience."

Just as Choi Jong-eun had previously predicted,"

This phone,"

Just by its appearance alone, was already stunning the audience,"

Leaving them in awe."

Choi Jong-eun greatly enjoyed this process,"

Feeling the admiration and praise from people of other countries for Samsung's phone technology,"

His vanity was immensely satisfied."

Coupled with the fact that the first-introduced Apple phone didn't have anything particularly special,"

By comparison,"

He felt that winning the grand prize this time was in the bag."

Choi Jong-eun became even more smug."

In addition, he introduced some other features,"

Such as the pre-installed apps on the phone being uninstallable,"

And even the app store could be uninstalled."

But none of these could compare to the shock and amazement that the screen brought to the world."

Seeing people praising Samsung one after another,"

Choi Jong-eun's mood improved significantly."

It seemed this trip was worth it after all,"

Even though some unpleasantness had occurred in the middle."

Then, the Li Xiang Phone took the stage,"

Showcasing the ideal a9 phone."

Ideal's Super Charge fast-charging technology and the phone's tactile feel also won a fair amount of praise.
