131: God-killing plot

The atmosphere of the highest-level emergency meeting was more solemn than any before, even carrying a hint of madness born from despair. When Lin Mo fully disclosed what he had seen through the "Observation Port" and Liranta's shocking plan, even the calmest Dr. Einstein's virtual projection fluctuated violently. Wu Yong directly smashed the alloy tabletop with his fist, his angry curses echoing in the soundproofed conference room.

"How dare she?! Turn the entire universe into her petri dish?!" Ling Shuang's voice trembled slightly from anger and her unhealed injuries, Stellar Silver Psionic Energy involuntarily surged around her, flashing with dangerous light.

"Because she believes that the existing paths, whether our 'new steady state' or the 'Purity Faction's' absolute order, are dead ends," Lin Mo's voice was unusually calm, a storm suppressed to the extreme beneath this tranquility. "She wants to create a 'perfect' universe in her ideal, and we, along with the 'Purity Faction,' are merely stepping stones and experimental data for her to achieve this goal."

"We must stop her! Before her damned 'Final Harmony Protocol' is completed, before the 'Purity Faction' is awakened by her!" Wu Yong growled.

"How do we stop her?" Dr. Einstein calmly posed the most crucial question. "According to the information Lin Mo obtained, the Purity Faction's designers are Creator-level existences at the rule level. Liranta daring to scheme against them must have something to rely on, perhaps the legacy of the Evolution Faction she analyzed, or some application of the myriad phenomena astrolabe's power. And what do we have?"

Silence. Absolute silence.

Facing the scavenger, they relied on the sacrifice of the heart of resonance and the will of the entire network.

Facing The Averter, they relied on a logical paradox Liranta accidentally left behind and a desperate struggle.

But now, they might be facing a "God" in its prime, controlling the fundamental rules of the universe, and a "director" manipulating everything from behind the scenes, a being of both wisdom and madness.

The cards in their hands seemed to be only the Genesis Blueprint authority, Stellar Silver Psionic Energy, and the connection to the "Star Language" Network. These powers had been invincible in previous battles, but facing the designers, they seemed so insignificant.

"We are not without anything," Lin Mo broke the silence, his gaze sweeping over everyone. "We have something Liranta doesn't."

"What is it?" Ling Shuang pressed.

"We represent the 'present' life and will of this universe," Lin Mo said, word by word. "Liranta and the Purity Faction, no matter how powerful they are, both represent the 'past'—one is a loser from the past (Evolution Faction), and the other is a victor from the past (Purity Faction). They lack a true, intrinsic 'understanding' of this current universe, born from the Heart Fire and full of infinite Possibility."

He stood up and walked to the holographic star map in the center of the conference room. The light points representing the "Star Language" Network on the star map were like a brilliant galaxy.

"Liranta wants to observe the conflict between us and the Purity Faction to refine her protocol. This in itself shows that she cannot fully simulate or understand all the variables that arise when life and absolute order collide. This is our opportunity, and our only weapon—the 'unpredictability' of our own existence."

"You mean... we should turn her plan against her?" Einstein seemed to grasp Lin Mo's line of thought.

"More than just turning her plan against her," Lin Mo's eyes sparkled with calculation. "We will use the time Liranta has bought us (or rather, reserved for her experiment) to do three things:

"First, deeply explore the potential of our existing powers. Einstein, I want you to spare no effort in researching how to achieve a deeper, more dangerous integration of the Genesis Blueprint's authority with Ling Shuang's Stellar Silver Psionic Energy and the collective will of the "Star Language" Network. Not a temporary resonance, but to create a... stable, supra-individual 'Civilization Will Entity.' We must forge the entire alliance's power into a 'spear' capable of touching the roots of rules."

"Second, actively pollute the 'script.' Liranta needs to observe conflict data. So we will give her 'data,' but not the conflict data she wants. We will promote a 'super-evolution' at the consciousness level throughout the entire network, across all civilizations, actively embracing the complexity and contradictions of rules, making our existence more 'chaotic,' more difficult for her model to predict and analyze. Let her not easily obtain 'pure' experimental results."

"Third, find 'external variables.'" Lin Mo's gaze turned to the depths of the star map. "Liranta's plan is based on her understanding of the Evolution Faction, the Purity Faction, and our current universe. But has she overlooked something? The Averter is only temporarily dormant, the myriad phenomena astrolabe is still lost, the ancient secrets in the Void Whisperer's records that have not been deciphered... even the true stance and potential of the "Tide of Delusion". We must actively seek out and introduce these 'variables' outside her plan, to muddy the waters."

This was an extremely bold, even crazy, strategy. It was not a frontal confrontation, but a high-stakes gamble against a higher-dimensional opponent at the cognitive and existential levels.

"This is too risky," Xiao Li said worriedly. "Deep power fusion could go out of control, consciousness super-evolution could lead to network fragmentation, and introducing external variables could attract even more terrifying enemies..."

"But if we sit idly by, the outcome is already predetermined," Ling Shuang stood beside Lin Mo, her gaze regaining its firmness. "Rather than walking towards destruction according to someone else's script, let us write our own ending, even if that ending is madness."

Wu Yong took a deep breath and nodded heavily: "Damn it, let's do it! Isn't it just god-slaying? I want to see whose rules are harder, those old fossils' or our desperate will!"

Dr. Einstein's projection also stabilized, data streams rapidly processing in his eyes: "Theoretically, it's feasible. The concept of a 'Civilization Will Entity,' though unprecedented, is not a castle in the air, based on our existing experience with super-consciousness resonators. I will need the full assistance of the Void Whisperer, and... possibly the energy from some rule anchor points in the keystone project."

"Approved," Lin Mo said without hesitation. "From now on, all alliance resources will be allocated to the second phase of 'Operation Tracing the Source'—the god-defying plan."

---

The god-defying plan was launched under absolute secrecy.

On the surface, the alliance continued to advance the keystone project, repair war damage, and develop science and culture. But beneath the surface, an invisible torrent was surging.

Dr. Einstein led the top team, along with the Void Whisperer, in highly isolated laboratories, beginning the arduous task of creating a "Civilization Will Entity." They used the Genesis Blueprint's rule framework as the skeleton, the Stellar Silver Psionic Energy's connection properties as the neural network, attempting to fuse the collective will of billions of consciousnesses within it. The experimental process was fraught with danger, nearly causing rule collapse and consciousness annihilation multiple times, but each failure brought them closer to that theoretical "transcendent existence."

At the same time, a quiet "consciousness revolution" spread through the "Star Language" Network. It wasn't forced indoctrination, but guidance. Ling Shuang and her psionics, through network resonance, subtly encouraged various civilizations to explore the edges of their own cultures, to embrace internal contradictions and uncertainties, and to create more unconventional art and philosophy. The "noise" in the network indeed increased, but this "noise" was full of vibrant creativity, making the entire alliance's consciousness map more complex, more colorful, and more... unpredictable.

Wu Yong, meanwhile, transformed into a ghost, commanding the Watchers special squad, active in unknown star systems marked as "high-risk, high-reward." Based on clues left by Liranta and occasional hints from the "tide of delusion," they searched for traces of the myriad phenomena astrolabe, explored the ruins of ancient existences possibly on par with The Averter, and even attempted extremely cautious contact with some neutral but powerful rule-based life forms.

Lin Mo presided over the central hub, like the most skilled chess player, coordinating all actions, while also continuously attempting deeper communication with the Genesis Blueprint, searching for that elusive "key." His connection with the "Tide of Delusion" also grew tighter, with increasing information sharing and collaborative actions between them. Although the "Tide of Delusion" still maintained its awe-inspiring rationality, its "investment" in the alliance was clearly growing.

Time quietly passed in tension and anticipation. Underneath the surface calm, the alliance was undergoing an extreme evolution concerning life and death.

Until one day—

A communication from Einstein's laboratory came through, excited to the point of distortion:

"Success! For the first time... for the first time, it stably maintained for one-thousandth of a standard second! The 'Civilization Will Entity' prototype—which we temporarily call the Guardian God Project—has verified theoretical feasibility!"

Almost simultaneously, Wu Yong's exploration fleet discovered an area enveloped by a strange space-time deep within a distorted nebula, where the internal rule fluctuations highly matched the descriptions of the myriad phenomena astrolabe!

And Ling Shuang, during a deep network resonance meditation, received a vague but incredibly ancient fragment of a prayer from the depths of the network consciousness ocean, pointing to a legendary place called the primal cradle, about which even the Void Whisperer was vague.

The fragments were slowly converging.

The path was appearing through the mist.

Lin Mo stood in the command center, looking at these reports coming from different directions, feeling the vast and unfamiliar power brewing within the alliance. He knew that the moment of destiny was rapidly approaching.

They might not have found the sword to slay gods yet, but they already held the hammer and fire to forge it.
