167: Chapter 167: The Sun Isn't a Nuclear Fusion Reactor, and Black Holes Aren't Infinitely Gravity?

"Brother, it seems like universal gravitation really doesn't need to exist."

Xiaoyu said, her eyes shining.

"Every manifestation of universal gravitation seems to be just the difference between the abundance and scarcity of the Time Stream."

"Objects flow from places where the Time Stream is dense to where it is sparse, just like how there are no clouds on the ground but clouds in the sky; since clouds are higher than the ground, the Time Stream is greater there!"

"It's like two objects of different weights—say, a rubber ball and a shot put—falling from the same height. They both hit the ground at the same time—at least to the naked eye."

"In this way, the Time Stream even explains it—it's not that two different objects have the same so-called acceleration, but that they are falling from a high Time Stream region back to a low Time Stream region?"

"So-called universal gravitation is just a byproduct of this object's flow process!!!"

The faster she spoke, the brighter her eyes became. "A single Time Stream directly redefines gravitational potential energy and universal gravitation. Brother, I don't know why, but I feel like your crazy idea..."

"Is, maybe, perhaps, must be right!!!"

In her excitement, her small hand grabbed Jiang Zhe's arm. "Brother, I even... I even feel like the universe might not need the four fundamental forces at all; perhaps only two most fundamental 'forces' exist!"

"One is the [Destructive Force] that leads everything toward dispersion, chaos, and death—entropy increase."

"The other is the [Creative Force] that establishes order in chaos, condenses structures, and allows life to develop—Entropy Decrease."

"And this Creative Force that permeates the cosmos is the Time Stream itself!"

"It is what fights destruction; it is what writes the story of the stars and the origin of life!"

After hearing this, the viewers in the livestream room all had glowing eyes and surging emotions.

"Holy crap, Xiaoyu has reached enlightenment!"

"Destruction and Creation... is that Yin and Yang?"

"Damn! It turns out what our ancestors were playing with wasn't metaphysics, but the truths of cosmic physics???"

"The Great Dao is simple, yet terrifyingly so—'The Dao produced One; One produced Two; Two produced Three; Three produced All things'—is the 'Two' in this context 'Destruction and Creation'?"

"At this moment, as a high school student, I suddenly feel like every line of the tao te ching is glowing!!!"

"I'm kneeling, my whole family is kneeling. From hardcore physics to ultimate philosophy, our brother is awesome!"

"..."

Jiang Zhe looked at the incredibly excited Xiaoyu with a speechless expression.

It was clear that truth was likely the only way to resolve all doubts.

After all, when he first learned of this concept, he himself had no negative thoughts or urges to refute it.

Perhaps it is only the truth that makes one unable to argue!

Xiaoyu didn't seem satisfied with just this example and continued to press: "Brother, are there any more macro-scale examples?"

Not just her, but the emotions of the viewers, teachers, and experts were stirred once again.

A smile appeared on Jiang Zhe's face; he didn't refuse.

"Yes."

"Wait!" Xiaoyu quickly raised her hand to stop him, then sat back on the sofa and adjusted herself into a comfortable position. "Brother, I'm ready."

The corners of Jiang Zhe's mouth couldn't help but twitch.

He placed the wet sponge he had just picked up from the floor back onto the table.

He didn't continue questioning the textbooks, but suddenly turned his head to look at the deep night sky outside the floor-to-ceiling window.

"What I just mentioned was only a sponge near us."

"But what if I told you that the small things happening in this room, the stars in the sky outside, and even the monsters in the darkest corners of the universe all follow the same logic?"

Xiaoyu subconsciously followed his gaze out the window, seeing only the night sky tinted by the distant city lights.

Jiang Zhe withdrew his gaze, his finger resting on the wet sponge on the table.

"Look at it. It absorbed water and became heavier. We think this is normal—sponges are supposed to absorb water."

Then his tone suddenly shifted:

"Then what if I told you that the Sun is also 'absorbing water'?"

Xiaoyu and countless viewers sat up straight, listening with stunned concentration.

"Except, the 'water' the Sun absorbs isn't H2O."

"What it absorbs is the omnipresent time energy permeating the vacuum of the universe."

"The Sun's massive mass is like a super sponge soaked in the ocean of the Time Stream, yet one that will forever remain dry!"

He pointed his thumb lightly toward the surface of the water in the fish tank behind him.

"A small sponge like our Earth absorbs a little water, just getting heavier and dripping a bit."

"But a super sponge like the Sun absorbs so much time energy, so violently—so much that the Sun itself can hardly contain or digest it!"

"So what does the Sun do?" Jiang Zhe asked and answered himself, his expression suddenly turning serious: "That excess energy naturally 'leaks' out in the most violent way. Xiaoyu, guess what that 'leaked' stuff would be?"

Xiaoyu's breath hitched, her beautiful eyes froze, and an answer was on the tip of her tongue.

Unexpectedly, Jiang Zhe said it first. "Yes, it's light and heat."

"The sunlight we see when we look up and the warmth we feel—from the perspective of the Time Stream—might not be energy released by nuclear fusion at all. Perhaps nuclear fusion is just the appearance!"

"The deeper reason is that the Sun, this super sponge..."

"Because it has absorbed too much cosmic Time Stream energy, it has nowhere to put it, so it can only continuously leak and erupt outward."

"So-called nuclear fusion might just be a secondary reaction triggered during this process of energy eruption."

"Just as universal gravitation is a byproduct of the Time Stream—the Sun's nuclear fusion is naturally also a byproduct of the Time Stream!"

This subversive theory made the air in the living room seem to vanish; Xiaoyu's heart was in her throat.

But Jiang Zhe did not stop his narration, slowly pushing the suspicious truth to its peak!

"Now, following this logic further—if there were a super sponge whose ability to absorb Time Stream energy was hundreds of billions or trillions of times stronger than the Sun's; so strong that even light couldn't escape, so strong that the Time Stream energy around this super sponge was sucked into near-stagnation, or even dried up!"

"What would that be?"

He slowly uttered those two words: "Naturally, a black hole."

At this moment, Xiaoyu and countless viewers' eyes widened, feeling an inexplicable shiver.

"A black hole isn't a celestial body with gravity so great that light can't escape in the traditional sense!"

"It's more like an absolute leak at the bottom of the Time Stream ocean!!"

"It doesn't erupt, it doesn't leak; it just swallows, endlessly devouring all Time Stream energy that flows past it."

"Therefore, near the event horizon of a black hole, time approaches a standstill!"

"It's not that spacetime is infinitely stretched, but because the Time Stream energy there has been sucked dry by the black hole itself!!!"

"There isn't enough Time Stream energy to drive the occurrence of 'events,' and no energy to support the completion of 'causal events' within the black hole."

"That is the true desert of time!"

Having reached this point in his narration, he took a deep breath and let his gaze fall back onto the damp sponge.

"Look, Xiaoyu, from this sponge absorbing water and getting heavier—storing potential energy; to the Sun absorbing so much water it glows and heats up—erupting energy; to the black hole absorbing water and drying up time—time stagnation."

"Everything in the universe, from a speck of dust to a star, is participating in the same game of gathering, storing, converting, and devouring Time Stream energy."

"The physical laws and forms of energy we know may just be the 'appearances' manifested by this game at different scales and concentrations!"

"And time, it has never been a bystander."

"It is the only real 'blood' in this game!"

"Without the Time Stream, universal gravitation and intelligent life would never have appeared in the universe at all!"

As Jiang Zhe's string of words fell, the living room became deathly silent, save for the sound of water slowly flowing in the fish tank.

Xiaoyu froze in place, looking dazed.

She looked at the sponge on the table, the fish tank behind her brother, and then turned her head to gaze up at the cosmic starry sky outside the window.

An undetectable yet omnipresent energy seemed to permeate the entire universe!!!

Meanwhile, in the livestream room, the bullet comments suddenly vanished as all the viewers, teachers, and experts were immersed in this explosive perspective!

The Sun isn't nuclear fusion, but is gushing light because it absorbed too much Time Stream energy?

Black holes aren't acting through gravity, but because the black hole itself swallowed the Time Stream, causing light to be unable to transmit out?

One must realize that these concepts far exceed the imagination of ordinary people!
