303: Chapter 303: Global Bigwigs Gather in Shock

He operated the keyboard, opened the search box, and typed: J, Xia Country.

The moment the search results popped up, he looked bewildered.

The first link was blank.

"Can't find him?"

Refusing to give up, he searched various keywords and finally found the surname Jiang in a paper on Site A.

Then he typed: Jiang, Xia Country.

Finally, a detailed page appeared. The first title read [Bro's Highlights: akashic records].

akashic records?

Carter frowned; he had never heard of this term.

He had studied occultism for fifty years and encountered countless concepts.

Collective unconscious, cosmic memory, archetypal theory, theosophical records.

But the words "akashic records," he had never seen in any literature.

He clicked in with a look of curiosity.

In the video clip, a handsome young man was talking to Xiao Yu.

"Xiao Yu, you can understand the concept of the akashic records as the key to human collective memory."

"You can think of it as cloud storage, but instead of storing your photos and files, it stores everything that has ever happened."

"Every thought, every word, every action is recorded there."

"It's not a myth, not a superstition; it's an existence on the level of information."

"..."

These were some digressions from when Jiang Zhe was tutoring Xiao Yu.

Hearing this, Carter felt it was incredible on the spot.

Cloud storage, where everything that has happened is recorded?

He truly hadn't encountered this concept before.

Looking further, he realized this was actually the zero-point field in Quantum Mechanics.

"So it's the zero-point field concept, just that he turned this complex term into metaphysical and occult vocabulary; not bad."

He continued browsing.

The next highlight was: [Fate and Quantum Delayed Choice].

In the video, Jiang Zhe said calmly:

"Xiao Yu, why do some people have good fates while others have bad ones?"

"It's not because God is unfair, but because people's lifespans are different."

"A person's lifespan is set at birth. For example, if someone is only meant to live to 30, they will only experience palpitations, intuition, or warnings at dangerous moments before 30. But someone who lives to 90 will have this intuition from age 0 to 90."

"Some people don't have this intuition, alert reminders, or sixth sense warnings. To put it bluntly, such beings likely won't live to a natural end."

Hearing this, Carter gasped. Although he didn't quite understand the Xia language, he could make it out if he slowed it down.

"My God!"

Carter couldn't help but purse his lips and tremble, saying, "There's actually such a theory?"

Immediately after, Jiang Zhe's voice came from the screen again.

"Why does our sense of time feel faster and faster?"

"Because we are already dead at this very moment; we have always been in the memories of our future selves at the brink of death."

"Xiao Yu, in memories, time naturally passes faster and faster."

"..."

Carter stared at these words with burning eyes.

This explanation was not reincarnation, not karma, and certainly not any religious or occult theory he was familiar with.

This was a completely original and never-before-seen explanatory framework.

Shocked, he continued scrolling down.

The next video: [Perhaps Humans Were Arranged by the Earth]

"Humans were intentionally arranged on Earth."

"..."

After listening, Carter's Adam's apple bobbed involuntarily, his body trembled uncontrollably, and his face was full of fanaticism.

He had thought of this sentence when he was young, but never dared to say it publicly for fear of being considered a madman.

And this young man had said it with full confidence in front of millions of viewers a month ago.

He continued watching.

One video after another.

Consciousness, life and death, reincarnation, prophecy, rebirth...

Every title pointed to the mysterious fields he had studied all his life.

But the content of every video was something he had never heard of, yet profoundly agreed with, leaving him speechless.

Two and a half hours later.

Carter slumped on the sofa, staring blankly at the ceiling.

He felt as if he had been groping in the dark for decades when someone suddenly turned on a light, allowing him to see clearly what he had been touching all along.

No, still not right; he shook his head repeatedly.

"He has illuminated our entire world, letting us witness a new world beyond current explanations!"

He continued watching until it was 8 PM in the USA.

The more he watched, the more startled he became: Black Hole Cosmology, the sun's core being habitable, the moon coming from Venus...

"He is a polymath; almost no discipline can stump him."

Then he stood up abruptly, picked up the landline, and made a call.

"Assistant, help me convene all online members for an emergency online meeting; now, immediately, right away!"

...

Fifteen minutes later.

In the online meeting room of his personal software, twenty-five avatars lit up one after another.

There was Johnson from the Royal Occult Society of the Fu Nation, 63 years old, with a head of silver hair, who had studied mythology for 40 years.

There was Claudia from the German Historical Occult Research Center, 58 years old, specializing in ancient history and mythological comparison, a recognized authority in Europe.

There was Pierre from the Gnostic Society of France, 67 years old, who had studied ancient esoteric texts from around the world for forty years.

And Ichiro Yamamoto from the Neon Occult Research Institute, 62 years old, a top expert in Eastern occultism.

There were also members from Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, and Brazil, each a figure who had delved deep into their respective fields for decades.

Carter, wearing silver-rimmed glasses, appeared in the center of the screen with a very solemn expression.

"Everyone, thank you for coming online promptly. I have something important."

Johnson yawned. "Carter, it's 9 PM here, and I was just about to sleep. What's the rush?"

Carter didn't waste words and sent the link to the paper directly to the meeting room's public screen.

"Look at this paper first, published by Xia Country scholars; ten minutes, then we'll discuss."

The members opened the link one by one.

Ten minutes later.

The online meeting room was silent. Everyone's face was filled with doubt, questioning, then surprise, and finally, disbelief.

Claudia was the first to speak. "Carter, I've studied the ancient maps cited in this paper. The Piri Reis map and the Oronteus Finaeus map—the academic world has argued for decades, and no one can explain them clearly."

Johnson continued: "And that part about Byrd's diary—I heard some rumors when I was a visiting scholar in the USA in the 80s. I didn't expect there to actually be archives. But what really stunned me was that they actually looked at the ancient maps and Byrd's diary together."

Ichiro Yamamoto was curious. "I didn't expect people in Xia Country to be researching these as well. In the global myth comparison section, he even included our Neon's underworld legends. I've studied them for decades and only thought they were myths, but I never thought of looking at them alongside ancient map evidence."

Pierre quickly raised his hand. "Carter, wait."

Everyone in the meeting room looked at him.

Pierre said solemnly, "The notes of this paper specifically mention a person, J. Did you all notice?"

Ichiro Yamamoto asked, "I've never heard of him. Does anyone know him?"

Everyone in the meeting room shook their heads.

Carter said thoughtfully, "Actually, I don't know him either. But among the authors of this paper—four old professors from Xia Country—I've heard of Professor Chen Runzhi. I've read several of his papers while researching Xia Country's history."

"Earlier, I followed the trail of J and found that his information has been kept secret."

"Never mind, see for yourselves!"

He compiled the materials he had read over the past two and a half hours and sent them to the meeting room's document folder.

Everyone clicked their mice and began reviewing the documents Carter had compiled.

Just looking at the table of contents and summaries caused the expressions of these twenty-plus bigshots to shift dramatically.

After a long while, Johnson was curious. "akashic records—what kind of concept is this? I've studied myths for so many years and never heard of this term."

Claudia spoke: "The explanation of fate, because of different lifespans; because we are all in near-death memories -> depending on whether our future selves at the moment of death exert enough intervention on the past. More intervention means a better fate; less intervention means a poor fate. My God, what kind of world-shaking genius is this? This is a staggering theory. Just looking at it makes my spine tingle, and I can't even use my existing knowledge to refute it."

Ichiro Yamamoto gasped. "Have you seen this? He doesn't just explain occultism and theology, but even astronomy, the universe, mathematics, and physics. A huge number of original theories and new concepts are constantly being thrown out by him. I didn't much like Xia Country before, but J's appearance has fundamentally changed my view of Xia Country's backward scientific theories!"

Pierre couldn't help but cover his mouth and say, "Gnosticism, Hermeticism, Kabbalah, Theosophy... I've studied ancient esoteric religions for thirty or forty years and read countless explanations of the world. But what this J says... I haven't seen a single bit of it, damn it."

Evidently, so many bigshots were for the first time accepting concepts from another world and some of Jiang Zhe's own.

For the occultism and science of this backward world, it was truly a dimensionality reduction strike.

Amidst the exclamations of the members, a French member named Anthony spoke solemnly: "Yes, we haven't seen them, and that's because none of J's theories or systems belong to our world."

"They are his own."

"Perhaps even he himself doesn't belong to our world!!!"

As the words fell, the meeting room fell into a dead silence.

Everyone stared at the screen; no one spoke.

After a long while, Carter took a deep breath. "I've lived so long, and today is the first time I've discovered that there's a new world and a new explanatory framework we've never touched."

Carter closed his eyes and said with a face full of smiles:

"Perhaps J isn't here to explain everything; he is creating a new science, a new theology, and even a new occultism!"

This online meeting lasted until midnight.

After all, the new framework and new explanations were to them like a group of people finding a spring in a long-parched desert, scrambling to enjoy it.

In the end, the meeting only stopped because Anthony fainted in front of his computer from excitement.
