8: Chapter 8: The Chief Advisor Arrives

Director Zhao Lixin clutched the stone slab engraved with the "Construction Blueprint" and rushed back to the headquarters of The Ninth Bureau at top speed.

Late that night, a top-level emergency meeting was convened.

In attendance, besides the head of the Bureau of Special Affairs, were top bigwigs from the Academy of Sciences, the Academy of Engineering, the military-industrial sector, and the Strategic Research Office.

Director Zhao Lixin laid out the reports and videos from the past few days, along with Jiang Ning's confession about "coming from another world," on the table. As his voice trailed off, the entire conference room fell deathly silent.

"The videos and data are all here; they can withstand any scrutiny." Director Zhao Lixin's tone was heavy. "Professor Chen has already gone mad, locking himself in the laboratory, insisting on creating a new discipline for Chief Consultant Jiang, something called 'spirit particles physics'."

The atmosphere in the conference room suddenly heated up.

Once the initial shock passed, everyone began to calculate the huge opportunities hidden behind this matter from their own professional perspectives.

"I agree with Director Zhao Lixin's suggestion to let her go ahead with that industrial park project first." The Director of the Bureau of Special Affairs, an elderly man with graying hair but sharp eyes, made the final decision. Order after order was issued from this small room, and the entire state apparatus began to operate at an unprecedented speed for one "worker" from another world.

Early the next morning, Chief Consultant Jiang walked out of her temporary residence and was dumbfounded by the scene before her.

The industrial park, which was empty yesterday, had now become a bustling super construction site.

Her crisp and clear instructions spread across the entire construction site via walkie-talkie.
