173: I eat very little

A wisp of green light floated out from Tao Ya's body, slowly enveloping all the Cat-people.

As the light swept over them, wisps of crimson gas drifted out from the bloodstains covering their bodies, then slowly dissipated into the air like melting ice and snow.

They seemed to be bathed in warm sunlight, and the fatigue and pain on their faces gradually gave way to ease and comfort.

Once no more crimson gas emanated from anyone, Tao Ya breathed a sigh of relief, and she became like a deflated balloon, swaying precariously.

Seeing that she was about to fall to the ground, Luo Chen quickly stepped forward and supported her.

Tao Ya, propping open her tired eyes, glanced at Luo Chen, then peacefully fell asleep.

Long eyelashes, slender eyeliner, a full face, and a perky nose—everything on her face was so exquisite.

Just as Luo Chen was examining her closely, a flash of white light suddenly appeared in front of him; the Ice Silkworm on his head actually jumped into Tao Ya's arms on its own accord.

Wisps of light green energy were absorbed by it from Tao Ya's body.

"What's going on?" Luo Chen asked, surprised by the scene.

"Ma...ster, I...need to absorb life essence to replenish energy," the Ice Silkworm's explanation came to his mind.

Of course, the Ice Silkworm couldn't speak human language; this was just Luo Chen translating it into a language he could understand through their special connection.

"There won't be any bad effects, will there?" Luo Chen asked.

He was worried that the Ice Silkworm would suck Tao Ya dry; it would be a terrible waste if such a magnificent Cat-person died just like that.

"No...no, I...I eat...very little," the Ice Silkworm's reply was somewhat intermittent.

Without Tao Ya's permission, it could only secretly eat a little when she was unconscious; once she woke up, it wouldn't be able to absorb anymore, so it had to seize every moment.

"First, clean up the inside of the Train, then send a few people to the spatial transfer cabin below to collect weapons. The light barrier outside the Train can only last for half an hour, and after half an hour, you might still be in danger."

Luo Chen held Tao Ya and found a chair to sit down.

Currently, there were still zombies active inside the Train, and the Ice Silkworm was still absorbing energy, so Luo Chen did not put her down.

Luo Chen found it somewhat amusing, not expecting her to actually offer them to him this time.
