42: Monster Appearance 7
The poor, unlucky child, Mizuno Hiroshi, had no idea that under the schemes of two scoundrels, his body had long since become unclean from the inside out.
He had even been forced to have a Slave Declaration planted within him.
He felt the surging power within his body and couldn't stop laughing wildly; he finally had the confidence to do what he wanted to do.
He began to think about what he should do next.
Just then, an inexplicable intuition welled up in his heart, a call that seemed to come from the depths of his Soul, clear and firm—somewhere in the city, there must be a Magical Girl hiding!
This intuition came so suddenly, yet it felt so real, as if it were a revelation.
Mizuno Hiroshi did not doubt it for a second, because a Monster like him—oh, wait, according to the information given after the crystal Fusion, he was the Monster King, the supreme ruler who creates and commands endless Monsters.
If an awesome existence like himself could hide here, then let alone one, he would believe it even if there were ten Magical Girls hidden here.
However, speaking of Magical Girls, Mizuno Hiroshi recalled those documentaries he had once watched about the battles between Magical Girls and Monsters.
When he was young, he had always yearned for the kind and beautiful Magical Girls, and utterly loathed those detestable Monsters who wanted to destroy the world, even thinking at one point that it would be great if they ceased to exist.
But now that he had become a Monster and seen the truth of the world, he realized how absurdly wrong he had been.
He finally understood just how heinous these Magical Girls truly were.
Countless justice-seeking, courageous, and steadfast Monster Seniors had shed their blood and sacrificed their lives to change this dirty and ugly world.
Yet that group of detestable Magical Girls dared to use their beauty as a weapon, twisting facts, misleading the masses, controlling public opinion, and nailing our predecessors and successors to the pillar of shame, all to maintain this world that was rotten to the core.
This caused us to be met with hostility whenever we appeared, making it impossible to explain ourselves, leaving us no choice but to use brutal methods in our journey to save the world, thus creating a vicious cycle.
What a group of naturally evil Magical Girls!
This cancer of the world must be eradicated first!
He, Mizuno Hiroshi, would destroy them all and let this world completely rid itself of this hypocritical "justice"!
He began to think, and another idea suddenly popped up: there was definitely more than one Magical Girl; they were like a cancer, spreading to every corner of the world.
Acting rashly would undoubtedly be reckless; he had to know himself and know his enemy to be invincible in every battle.
Thinking of this, Mizuno Hiroshi curled his lips into a cruel smile. He had a plan!
He would use his power to create Puppets, first to force the hidden Magical Girl out, and then slowly observe her power.
Once he fully understood her abilities, he would then make his move to eliminate her completely.
"So, who should I choose to be my first Puppet?" Mizuno Hiroshi muttered to himself, his eyes turning cold.
Faces he still hated immensely flashed through his mind—those people who were once so reckless and how they had trampled upon his beautiful flower of kindness.
He thought of Sister Duohe again, the person who had once given him warmth, but because of this group of people, Sister Duohe had died.
After gaining power, he had spent these years busy training himself, neglecting them, but now it was time to let them taste pain.
He, Mizuno Hiroshi, had to take revenge for Sister Duohe.
However, what Mizuno Hiroshi did not know was that the reason he had ignored them was entirely because Xiang Yan did not want him to cause complications, which might lead the rabbit to change its mind and suddenly run back, causing unnecessary trouble for himself.
After returning to the villa, Mizuno Hiroshi instructed the butler to investigate the situation of that scum from back then as quickly as possible.
The butler acknowledged the order and left, but after leaving the villa, he first made a call to Mizuno Masao to report the matter.
After a long silence, a sigh came from the other end of the line, followed by the reply, "Let him be." Then the call was disconnected.
Mizuno Hiroshi, who had been stealthily following the butler all along, heard his father's reply, and after a brief silence, returned to his room to wait.
Soon after, the butler handed him a stack of documents. Looking at the contents, Mizuno Hiroshi understood a doubt he had held from those years ago.
It turned out that the reason that high-ranking official had spared no cost to save them back then was because the official's son and daughter had suffered multiple organ damage in a car accident, and the matching organs were in them.
After extracting the necessary organs, he left them to fend for themselves. Only their youngest son survived—the same guy who had colluded with the old man to commit fraud back then. This kid didn't have any matching organs; the only reason he was saved was to leave a memento for the villainous family, ensuring they would willingly donate their organs.
Over the years, everyone except for that youngest son had died, and that youngest son was now living by begging in the bungalow area outside the west of the city.
The reason he was begging was that the day after the high-ranking official extracted the organs, a group of gangsters had broken his legs, and that night, robbers had ransacked his home.
Most of the family members died of pure rage, and those who didn't, unable to bear the hardship of life and the sudden ups and downs, either committed suicide or starved to death.
As for that youngest son, he was a good-for-nothing to begin with, lacking any skills, and with both legs broken, he was ultimately swept into the slums.
As for the house, it was rented anyway.
After reading it, Mizuno Hiroshi sighed. How could there be such a coincidence? Which gang in the city didn't have his father's shadow behind it? Which of the robbers' fencing channels hadn't his mother been involved in?
He sighed to himself, "It's too late! Father, Mother."
Then he said to the butler waiting nearby, "Let him live a bit longer."
The butler asked, "Does Young Master need someone to 'take care' of him?"
"Yes."
The butler nodded and went to make arrangements.
A few days later, Mizuno Hiroshi, just like in the past three years, headed alone towards the outskirts of the city. Upon reaching his destination, he concealed his figure and headed towards the bungalow area (slums).
In the slum area, low and dilapidated houses were like beasts crouching on the ground, exuding an aura of decay, forming a stark contrast with the skyscrapers towering into the clouds in the distance, as if they were ugly scabs on the scars of the earth.
He could feel the foul odor permeating the air, mixed with rotting food scraps and an unknown stench. This smell made him feel sick and only strengthened his resolve to destroy this world.
After turning a few corners, he immediately spotted the man he hated to the bone—the bastard who had colluded with the old man to defraud Sister Duohe back then.
Now, he too was like trash, disheveled, gaunt, and skinny, humbly begging for food from passersby, with a nauseating scent of decay radiating from his body.
A surge of intense pleasure welled up in Mizuno Hiroshi's heart. With a cold sneer, he walked to the entrance of a bakery and specifically bought the cheapest bread.
Then, he plucked a black scale from his body and stuffed it into the bread.
He walked up, pretending to pass by, and threw the bread in front of that scum.
Seeing the bread, the scum's eyes lit up immediately. He pounced on it like a hungry wolf, devouring the entire bread without even chewing.
He choked uncomfortably and hurriedly crawled to a nearby ditch, lying there and gulping down the dirty water.
After drinking the water, he suddenly clutched his stomach, his face turning pale, and beads of sweat the size of beans rolled down from his forehead.
Violent, cramping pains surged from his abdomen, as if countless knives were slicing into his internal organs. The pain made him unable to help but let out a shrill, miserable scream.
His voice echoed through the dilapidated slum area like a beast with its throat constricted.
The surrounding residents just glanced at him indifferently and ignored him, because in this place, having no money for medical treatment and waiting in pain for death was a common occurrence.
Mizuno Hiroshi watched coldly, observing the scum writhing in pain on the ground. A cruel smile curled at the corners of his lips; this feeling was simply wonderful.
He enjoyed the other's despair, enjoyed his face twisted by pain.
But gradually, people noticed something wrong; a gray light began to radiate from the man's body.
The gray light grew thicker, wrapping around the man like dense fog.
Under the light, the man's body began to swell and twist; his skin flowed like melted wax, and his bones made teeth-gritting cracking sounds as they deformed and reorganized.
Finally, the gray light dissipated, and a nauseating Monster appeared before everyone.
It looked like a hybrid of a giant slug and a slime. Its grayish-white body was covered in viscous liquid, exuding a pungent, sour stench, and it had disgusting tentacles dripping with slime growing one after another on its back.
As soon as the Monster was "born," it expanded violently, spraying out countless acid.
The acid fell to the ground, making a "hissing" corrosive sound, burning pits into the ground.
Even more terrifyingly, those who came into contact with the acid had their flesh melt instantly, letting out shrill screams before quickly turning into a puddle of yellow liquid.
The Monster slithered to the side of the melted liquid and greedily sucked it up, making a chilling "gurgling" sound.
At the same time, the originally short tentacles on its back began to grow and split crazily, reaching out towards the surrounding crowd as flexibly as octopus tentacles.
The tips of the tentacles secreted viscous liquid, firmly sticking to the terrified people fleeing, binding them into a ball, and dragging them to the Monster's side.
While sucking the liquid on the ground, the Monster pulled the living people bound by its tentacles onto its body. The tentacles pierced into the human bodies like sharp blades, sucking dry all the liquid within them.
The sucked-dry people were like shriveled mummies, discarded casually by the Monster and scattered on the dirty streets of the slum area.
Or, the tentacles would pull the bound people directly into the Monster's body, and after a moment, like excreting waste, it would leave behind shriveled corpses along the path it had slithered.
And the freed tentacles continued to wave, capturing more living people, like a killing machine that never stopped.
Having absorbed enough liquid, the Monster's body grew another size larger, and the erupting slime and waving tentacles also became more numerous. It slithered slowly, moving towards places with more people, leaving behind a trail of shriveled corpses and a nauseating, sour stench.
In the distance, the faint sound of police sirens could be heard, but this did not affect the Monster's actions in the slightest.
It seemed completely immersed in the pleasure of killing, enjoying this feast of despair.
A little girl hiding behind a trash can witnessed all of this. She covered her mouth, not daring to make a sound. The Monster's huge figure cast down, shrouding her in shadow.
Suddenly, a cold tentacle reached out.
In the distance, an excited voice whispered: "It's... simply perfect..."
Mizuno Hiroshi trembled with excitement, watching the Monster he created being so "excellent," wantonly slaughtering those humans who were like ants, and watching these sources of negative energy being eliminated one by one. His heart was filled with satisfaction; he was healing the world with his own hands.
The cries and curses made him feel as if he were in a bloody stage play, and he was the only audience, the only director, freely controlling this feast.
The stench of blood, the smell of rot, and the desperate wails of humans before death sounded as pleasant as heavenly music to his ears.
He greedily breathed in this foul air, feeling the pleasure brought by the execution of justice, and issued the next command.
"Go! Go into the city! Go kill more people! Force that hiding Magical Girl out!"
However, the Monster did not obey his command and continued to wreak havoc in the slums.
Mizuno Hiroshi frowned. Through the special connection established when creating the Monster, he carefully sensed the Monster's state.
He discovered that this Monster only had the most primitive killing instinct and possessed no intelligence whatsoever.
"Was I too rough?" Mizuno Hiroshi began to reflect. He realized that in the process of creating the Monster, he had been too eager for success, focusing only on endowing it with powerful strength while neglecting the shaping of its intelligence.
"Next time, I must read the manual carefully before creating one." He muttered to himself.
"As for now, let me try to see if I can make some remedies."
He extended his hand, and a ball of black energy emerged from his palm, like a wriggling venomous snake, exuding a heart-palpitating aura.
He tried to inject this energy into the Monster's body, attempting to awaken its intelligence, or at least, allow it to understand his commands.
However, as soon as this energy came into contact with the Monster, it was like a clay ox entering the sea, disappearing without a trace.
The Monster continued to do as it pleased, turning a deaf ear to his instructions.
He sensed carefully for a while but could not find the source of the problem.
However, Mizuno Hiroshi was not unhappy facing this situation; after all, this was his first time creating a subordinate, so he wouldn't be too surprised by any situation that arose.
As long as it wasn't something as absurd as wanting to kill its master, he could actually accept it.
It was just that disobedience was indeed quite troublesome. But it didn't matter; if he really couldn't solve this problem in the end, he could just carry it into the city and throw it on the ground, and the effect would be the same.
