46: The Kingdom Conference (Part 1)
Somewhere in the Void Realm, there was a massive Floating City, incredibly vast—more than thirty times the area of an average star in the Main Universe.
Interestingly, this Floating City contained not only various buildings but also diverse terrains such as volcanoes, oceans, swamps, deserts, and forests, resembling a miniature Universe.
Surrounding the Floating City were two spheres resembling the sun and moon, slowly revolving around it, creating a sense of day and night alternation.
At the very center of this Floating City was a city within a city, and within that inner city, there stood an incomparably magnificent Hall.
The walls of the Hall were constructed from glowing crystal stones, the floor was covered with a red carpet, and the surrounding pillars were inlaid with dazzling gems.
In the center of the Hall stood a mature woman with long purple hair. Her hair was smooth as silk, and she wore a magnificent evening gown, possessing an extremely curvaceous figure.
A faint trace of worry was visible on her face, and she held a piece of the latest news in her hand.
The purple-haired lady looked at the news in her hand, her brows slightly furrowed, seemingly contemplating something.
Finally, she took a deep breath, raised her hand, and drew a complex Magic Circle in the air.
The Magic Circle emitted a soft glow, and a few seconds later, a clear ringing sound echoed in the air, spreading throughout the entire Floating City.
After sending the message, the purple-haired lady took a step forward, and the surrounding space suddenly shifted.
She instantly appeared in a spacious conference room, surrounded by thousands of seats, each occupied by a Magical Girl Councilor of the same rank as her.
These women possessed unique characteristics; some were dressed in battle armor, some were styled like princesses, and others wore simple robes.
The purple-haired lady naturally sat down in the chair behind her. After waiting for a moment, she looked around. Seeing that everyone had arrived, she stood up and walked to the main presiding position at the front.
She cleared her throat, and her voice was as pleasant as celestial music:
"Fellow colleagues, thank you for rushing here on such short notice. This emergency meeting is to discuss a newly appearing Magical Girl. Her situation is extremely unique, and I find it genuinely difficult to make a decision by myself."
The conference room fell into a brief silence, and all eyes focused on the purple-haired lady.
They all understood that unless the situation was highly unusual, this purple-haired Councilor would never convene a meeting, much less issue an Emergency Council notice.
The purple-haired lady gently waved her finger in the air. A flash of light appeared, and a transparent Magic Orb materialized in the center of the conference room, displaying the image of the newly appeared Magical Girl.
Immediately afterward, she moved her finger gently again, and beams of light danced like sprites, landing in the hands of every Councilor present.
As the light dispersed, they each held a Crystal Card, thin as a cicada's wing, which shimmered with a soft glow, clearly some kind of specialized magical construct.
"This contains the detailed information about that Magical Girl," the purple-haired lady said, her voice carrying a hint of solemnity, breaking the silence in the conference room. "After you read it, you will understand why I had to call this emergency meeting."
The Councilors said little, lowering their heads to examine the Crystal Cards in their hands.
Text, images, and even short dynamic videos appeared on the cards, meticulously recording all sorts of information about the newly appeared Magical Girl.
The only sounds left in the conference room were the subtle rustling of the cards being flipped and the occasional low gasps.
"How could this be... This is impossible..."
"This power... could those two perhaps..."
"Hmm? This location..."
Various exclamations rose and fell throughout the conference room, and the expressions on the Councilors' faces were all different.
They were not rookie Magical Girls, but elites who had experienced countless battles and trials over vast stretches of time. The fact that they were so visibly shaken was enough to show how shocking the content of the data was.
Once the Councilors put down the Crystal Cards in their hands, the purple-haired lady gently cleared her throat, preparing to speak.
However, a Councilor wearing a white robe and possessing a hexagonal star pattern in her pupils was the first to ask, her voice trembling slightly, "Councilor Purple Pet, I would like to ask if there are any signs that the two great lords, 'Star' and 'Tree,' are returning from their departure?"
Purple Pet's gaze fell upon this beautiful Senior. A hint of sadness flashed in her eyes, and she sighed lightly, her voice carrying a trace of regret, "I am afraid, Councilor Starfall, that the two great lords, 'Star' and 'Tree,'... still show no signs of returning. As the younger sister of Lord 'Star,' you should be the clearest about this."
Councilor Starfall opened her mouth, but then closed it again. She sat down with a look of dejection, then glanced at the data in her hand, and her eyes regained their vitality.
As soon as these words were spoken, the previously quiet conference room became instantly noisy, as if a heavy bomb had been dropped.
The Councilors began whispering among themselves, discussing animatedly.
Purple Pet did not interrupt them immediately but waited quietly.
After a moment, when the Councilors' voices gradually subsided, the purple-haired lady spoke again, her voice full of authority and decisiveness, "Everyone, now is not the time to discuss the past. We must focus on the present. I ask again, what are your thoughts on this newly appeared Magical Girl? How should we handle her?"
The purple-haired lady scanned the crowd with her gaze, awaiting their response.
A tall Councilor, dressed as a valiant knight, suddenly spoke, "I believe we should immediately bring her into the Sacred Hall Heaven..."
Her voice was clear and firm, like a drawn sword, instantly cutting through the silence of the conference room.
Her gaze was burning as she swept over every Councilor present, her tone carrying an undeniable resolve, "This concerns whether the two great lords, 'Tree' and 'Star,' can return from their departure. We cannot afford the slightest negligence."
"I object!" A golden-haired Councilor suddenly stood up, her golden hair flying, her face filled with anger. "Such a hasty decision is simply foolish! This Magical Girl hasn't even crossed the most basic trials; her heart and will have not been baptized. She is utterly unqualified to enter the Sacred Hall Heaven. Rashly bringing her in is tantamount to inviting a wolf into the house, and the consequences would be unimaginable! Have you all forgotten the lesson of the Apostle 'Aika'?"
"I object!" the armored Councilor retorted, showing no weakness, her gaze sharp as a torch. "Are we just going to watch as the two great lords, 'Tree' and 'Star,' remain unable to return forever? In the current situation, if the two great lords could return, our pressure would be much lighter. We must try every possibility! This Magical Girl might just be the key!"
"It's merely a 'might'!" said a Councilor standing beside the golden-haired Councilor, her voice echoing through the conference room. "We cannot risk the safety of the entire Sacred Hall Heaven based on a 'might'!"
The two sides were locked in fierce opposition, each sticking to their arguments. The conference room was filled with tension, and there was a subtle tendency for them to descend into tearing clothes and pulling hair.
