Chapter 162: The fall of the Aether Kingdom. (Final Part)

"You asked who I was?" I said, grinning at the Grand Duke as I signaled one of the Spartan Drones who was carrying a sack. It walked over to me, handing it to me, and I opened it up while walking towards them, putting the Knights on edge as I pulled out a head that had started to rot.

"Leo!" The King yelled out, falling on his ass. "Impossible, you are too young!" The Grand Duke yelled out in fear. "Who says you have to be old to be a Legendary Rank? Let me introduce myself. I am Emperor Colt, and the Aether Kingdom will stop existing today, becoming part of my Empire." I said, throwing the head of Leo in front of the Knights, who dropped their swords in fear.

They couldn't possibly fight someone who killed Leo; it would be foolish even to try. "Grand Duke, you need to be punished for what you did to that little lady. Come, let this Emperor show you what real power is." I said, disappearing from in front of them, showing up behind the old man, kicking the back of his knee, breaking it as he fell forward, screaming in pain.

I grabbed the back of his skull, placing my foot on his lower back, forcing him to lie flat on the ground as he screamed out. "Mercy!" But his plea fell on deaf ears as I began to pull his head back, the front of his throat began to pull, ripping slowly until I ripped his head and spine out of his body, making everyone shiver, and some of the noblemen threw up.

I held the Grand Duke's head up and spoke. "By my power, I deem all you nobles not fit to live and deserve death. At least know that it was a God that killed you." I said, pulling out my two revolvers, and began firing at the nobles who had started to run. They fell like flies, even the Prince had been gunned down by me as I finished killing them, leaving only the King left.

"Nova, after this, take the head of all the Nobles and stack them outside the palace so everyone that enters knows just what I can do. As for the Knights, I will give you a chance. Take off your armor and quit being a Knight. Become a farmer, or something else, as you are not allowed ever to pick up a weapon again." I said, making the Knights that hadn't dropped their swords before begin to strip themselves of their armor.

Their masters had died, and there was no point in standing up to someone they had no chance to kill. So the countries' knights stopped being a thing; I would have killed them. But killing too much of the population would have made rebuilding harder, and they were only Knights. They had no real political power to stop what was happening without endangering their own families.

I heard a scream of pain as I turned, seeing a maid stabbing the King in the neck, her eyes filled with rage and hatred, making me tilt my head. I started to walk towards them as the maid kept stabbing and stabbing until the head of the King was barely on. I stood in front of them as the maid looked down at the dead King, crying, making me just watch.

She looked up at me and smiled as she spoke. "Thank you for the chance to avenge my honor. I can go without a problem." She said with a smile as she lifted the letter, opened it, and was about to stab her chest. I quickly stepped forward, grabbing her hand as she yelled out. "DON'T STOP ME! I HAVE NOTHING LEFT!" She screamed, making me raise an eyebrow.

"He may have taken what you were, but it didn't take what you may choose to become. Killing yourself is only going to let him take that to even after his death." I said, making her freeze as she started to cry out. "What am I supposed to do now?" She said, making me shrug as I spoke. "Anything you want to do, just choose for yourself. I just wanted to point out that killing yourself is only going to give him more. What you choose to live for after this is up to you." I said, walking away, making her look at my back for a moment and speak.

"Then can I become your maid?" She said, making me stop as I was thinking. Nova walked over and spoke. "Creator, Lady Mortica could use more help. It will take some time for the other places to send their maids. So she could use the help." She said, making me look at her, that was out of her domain. Why would she bring that up? But she makes sense.

"Very well, you can come be my maid," I told the girl, making her smile while her face was covered in blood, and she nodded. It was an amusing look as I spoke. "What is your name?" I asked her as the maid rose and bowed. "Nayla, majesty." She said, making me nod. "Very well, from now on, I shall take you as a maid and look after you. If you desire anything, I will complete it if it's within my power." I said.

"Creator, the Spartans have entered the Palace; the city is yours." She said, bowing, making me nod. "Good, call for Medix and Orana. They should already be on their way with their Androids. I want them to restore peace and order to the city, and I want Orana to review all the documents concerning the Kingdom's corruption and finances." The women in the courtyard were near each other as I spoke.

"You men, leave the ladies, who aren't comfortable with you here. You won't be harmed as long as you leave right now." I said to the ex-Knights who ran off, then turned to the women walking towards them, scaring them, which is understandable. "Ladies, I have someone coming who can look at your injuries. She should be here within an hour. Please, relax, I won't harm you." I said, making the women relax a little as I turned to Nova and the little lady.

"Let's go find these little ladies, Mom. Can I know your favorite color, little lady?" I said, squatting down. Making the child smile and nod. "I like light green." She said happily as I made her a princess dress, undergarments, small shoes, and a crown. "You need some clothes if you want to find your mom," I said, handing her the clothes, making her eyes light up, and I helped her get dressed.

"Now you look like a little lady," I said, picking her up when she got done getting dressed, making her smile happily. I was trying to help her not focus on what happened to her. We started walking, asking her which way to her home. It took a while to get there, as she didn't know exactly where it was. We stopped at a house that had no lights on, making me stop as Nova whispered into my ear.

"I don't see any heat signatures, Creator." She said, making me look at Nayla. "Please look after the little lady," I said. Nayla wasn't a fool as she noticed my eyes and bow. "Yes, your majesty." She said, making me look at the little girl.

"I am going to check if your parents are here, stay with your big sisters," I said, pointing at Nayla and Nova. She nodded while speaking. "Okay, big brother." She said with a smile. I put the little lady down, and Nayla held her hand, walking twenty feet away as she talked to the little girl along with Nova.

I ordered the Spartans to surround the home just in case, as I opened the door, pulling out a flashlight. It was silent in the house. I slowly looked around and didn't find anyone on the first floor as I made my way upstairs, opening a room and being greeted with a young boy lying headless on the floor. "Shit." I muttered, "Looks like what I feared was true."

Moving on to the next room, it was the girls' room, and I noticed three stuffed animals on the bed. Before walking to the last one, I opened it. The sight I saw was a woman on the bed, tied to it with signs of her having been raped. Moving the flashlight around, I noticed a man strapped to a chair with his throat cut.

Both had their throats cut; neither had signs of life as I checked them. I sighed and walked towards the girls' room as I started to pack her stuff up and brought the three stuffed animals with me. "Your parents weren't here. How about you stay with us until we can find them?" I asked her. She looked sad for a while before speaking. "Okay, but please find my parents, big brother." She said before reaching for the teddy bear in my hands.

"Big brother will try his best. Nayla, please carry her back to the group of women." I said, looking at the Spartans, and they saluted. "These soldiers of mine will protect you, ladies, until I rejoin you," I said.

The maid nodded, picked up the little girl, and started walking back as I told Nova. "I want Liora here right now. Find out who did that to her family and bring everyone to me alive if they haven't been killed. I will kill them personally." I said in a cold voice.

"Your will shall be done." She said, saluting as I began to walk back.
