Chapter 95: Leaving the village.

The days in the village had gone by while sleeping with the mothers and daughters of the village. I had increased my drone army while also working on different kinds. I had laid out blueprints for stealth bombers and submarines using the new metals of this world, making them even stronger. They were all piloted by AI, which made my army grow. Once I get a port city under my control, I will have bigger plains.

It was 2 am as I lay in bed with a group of young girls, one of them Aisha's daughter, who had been playing hide-and-seek with me these last few days. I ended up cornering her while she bathed and had my way with her. She ended up giving in, as her mother did, and didn't want to stop having sex with me.

I placed a letter on her dresser before leaving the room. It was dark inside the house as I walked to the kitchen and put a chest of 1,000 gold coins and a letter for Aisha. Opening the front door and stepping onto the main street, I lit a smoke as I started walking out of the village.

Getting past the river, I summoned my motorcycle once more, turning the headlights on and speeding off. I would be at the wastelands around 8 in the morning. It will take three days to get through the wastelands before I enter the land of the dead. I plan to kill some zombies tonight to collect magic crystals and level up.

Zombies are attracted to sound at night; they have shitty eyesight, but their ears are amazing. My drone army had expanded three times its numbers over the past three days. Looking at the storage skill and smiling as the numbers looked me in the eye.

My drone army could rival some countries' back on Earth in terms of firepower. I could now resupply them at least 15 times each with key supplies, but I was still unable to make mana recovery potions. My level must not be high enough, but I was close to levelling my creation skill. In time, I can make them myself.

"I will stop before 4 pm and start stocking up on more ammo and power cells. I have more than enough fuel for now, but I feel that my drones will be putting in work tonight and the following nights." I said, remembering that the wastelands in some aspects are more dangerous than the land of the dead, due to being overwhelmed by zombie attacks.

As the sun rose above the land, I increased my speed with the dust keeping me company. Slowing down as I noticed a fortress, I slowly parked the bike, getting off it. This was the last Nya place before the wastelands. It's built in between a passageway into the wastelands. It serves as a blocking point behind a giant wall they built.

The only way into the wasteland is to be lowered by an elevator. There isn't a door or gate—a solid wall standing over two thousand feet tall. No way for Zombies to break through a 300-meter-thick wall of stone; the only way was to climb over it, but it would be hard, as their bodies disappear after being killed.

So, using the dead bodies to climb over them would be almost impossible in this world; it wouldn't work like that one movie with zombies climbing the wall in Jerusalem. Crushing the zombies below as they climbed over them would make their bodies fade away. That was the key reason the zombies' numbers didn't really help with getting through it.

They aren't smart, and their numbers hurt them in specific problems. But in open grounds, their numbers would destroy most armies. I parked the bike and walked to the gate, where the guards stopped me. "State your business." He said as I pulled out a letter and he read it, looking at me with a hint of pity before speaking.

"Wait one moment." He said, leaving to inform his higher-ups. After ten minutes, they waved me through the castle, and I walked out of the fortress and into the passageway, looking at the tall wall in front of me. Even if the zombies got over it, they would fall to their deaths, and even if they lived, they would be shot down by the archers on the side of the valley.

They would need hundreds of millions of zombies to make it through this area. Walking about two thousand meters before making it to the base of the wall, a single guard pulled the lever to lift the elevator. As I reached the top, I noticed the wall had been shaped into a slick point, and I nodded as I spoke.

"That's smart. If the zombies ever made it to the top, they would have a hard time climbing over the angled tip without falling back off. If they got over it, they would slide off the other side, falling 2,000 meters to the ground." I was impressed by whoever made it. There was only a four-foot-wide passage at the top.

A single guard waited at the end of a small wooden section that jutted out, with an elevator on it. I gulped as the thing looked pretty poorly taken care of as I entered it, and the guard spoke. "I will pray for your quick death." He said with a straight face.

Well, shit, that wasn't nice. I just chuckled and nodded as he lowered me. A gust of wind blew by, shaking the wooden elevator, making me kneel as it kept going down. As I finally hit the ground and quickly got off as it started to lift back up. I sighed and looked back, freezing.

A large pile about fifteen feet tall of nothing but magic crystals spans the thousand-foot wall, making me burst into laughter. "Fucking Jackpot, baby." Screw trying to push deeper now, I will collect the magic crystals here and fight the zombies with my back to the wall.

I quickly summoned my drones, pushing the smaller ones out 1,500 meters, then worked my way back, with the Lee units closest to the wall. I summoned the Harpies, making them look around as I quickly made a few hundred transportation drones. These drones had a bed on the top of them with track-style wheels as I spoke to the Harpies.

"Load this up with the crystals along this wall," I said. They looked at the wall, and their eyes widened. Monsters grow stronger by eating magic crystals. None of them had witnessed so many in one area; they wanted to ask if they could have some, but didn't.

"For every drone you fill up, you will get ten crystals. The more you work, the better you will be rewarded," I said, making them all quickly nod. But Erebos was worried as she looked around and spoke. "Master, where are we?" She asked, making me smirk as I shook my head.

"You don't need to worry about that, as I will unsummon you before it gets dark," I said, making her tilt her head and sigh, seeing as I wasn't going to tell her. The Harpies got to work as I looked over the area and moved my drones out a bit more, since it was a bit close, leaving some smaller drones within the formation to cover the bigger ones.

I walked out in front of them and started making Anti-personnel mines with fire magic, placing them five layers deep over the now 3,000-meter front line. I felt this was good enough for now, as I looked at my watch, it was three in the evening. I had three more hours till the sun started to go down.

Walking back, I noticed half the wall's length was cleared of crystals, making me nod as I saw a giant pile in an open area. I walked over, seeing the Harpies hugging the crystals they had worked for. I chuckled. "You ladies did well. Get some rest. We will clean up the rest tomorrow." I said unsummoning them as they smiled.

Storing the pile, the number came out to 237,879 crystals. All ordinary ranks, which made sense as the more powerful ones wouldn't be used as climbing steps. "Well, now all I can do is wait and enjoy tonight," I said, sending out recon drones as I made a pool chair and lay down, then summoned a crystal and began absorbing it.
