Chapter 44: Metal testing and new firearms. (Final Part)

"So, how is your work going along, Master?" Míriel asked; she didn't know what her master was doing, but she could tell it was important to him. As she watched him use those odd tools that made her ears hurt a little, he would check those targets.

"It's going great, Míriel. I have already started planning to improve my drones, you know, those things you saw in the Library. I have felt this excited in a while, as each improvement is another step towards perfection." I said with a wide grin, as I took way more pleasure in creating than even sex.

"I should be done in a few more minutes, after that I feel like spending some time with you," I said while sliding a hand up her skirt, making her blush as she leaned forward and whispered into my ear. "I wanted that so much, I was going to visit your room last night, master. But I was told another was getting your love." She said, kissing me as my fingers played with her underwear.

Slowly pulled my hand back out from under her skirt as we pulled our mouths away, and I finished eating. This time, it would only be testing the enhanced Nightshade steel. I will see if it can handle the 45-70 rare Raging Tempest round along with the 6.8x51 and .50 caliber Raging Tempest rounds.

As I stood up, she walked away, and I told her it would get loud again, so it was best she moved away. Loading one round of rare rank Raging Tempest 45-70 and aiming at the target, pulling the trigger, as the bullet left the rifle, a spiral point like the tip of a tornado with lightning mixed inside it flew towards the target.

As the round traveled, it dug a canal on the ground below it as it made its way, and the shield shot out from the target as the two forces hit. The ground below the shield splintered, leaving cracks spreading out ten feet in a circle. The shield violently shook as it glowed brightly, but didn't break.

I picked up the Sig Spear and loaded one round of 6.8x51. This time, I noticed the bullet made a bigger canal. Does the power of the bullet also increase the power of the magic? I will find out with the .50 caliber. As the round hit the shield, this time the cracks in the ground spread farther, reaching about 13 feet, as the shield glowed but still held together.

Moving onto the Barrett, I loaded the round, aimed at the target, and slowly exhaled before pulling the trigger. The round shot out, and the canal under the bullet was twice as big. The wind was so strong that I had to close one of my eyes as I watched it slam into the shield. The cracks spread out to twenty feet as the shields' glow violently pulsed, but it held on.

"Amazing." That was the only word I could say as I looked at the target still standing. But the test wasn't over just yet. I had one more thing I needed to do.

I picked the lever action up, and one round, this one was different, it was made with Electrum. She said this time the power by three, meaning it should make my rounds three times stronger. If the shield held up to non-powered rounds, would it hold up against the powered-up ones?

Putting the Electrum Raging Tempest 45-70 round into the lever action, and I aimed it. Pulling the trigger as it burst out of the tip of the rifle, I could already tell that this round was close to the power of the .50 caliber Raging Tempest round as it slammed into the shield, and cracks spread out to twenty feet. It may not have increased the power of the bullet, but it was clear that it increased the magic.

The same thing happened with the non-Electrum .50 caliber, but it didn't break the shield. Moving on to the 6.8x51 Electrum version, as I loaded it and fired. The power was getting unreal as this round left a canal twice the size of a .50-caliber round as it slammed into the shield, making it pulse over and over, but it didn't break.

Walking over to the Barrett, I loaded two rounds this time. If it did break on the first one, then I would fire again and see if it would reactivate the shield as I lay behind the Barrett and aimed, my hands sweating as this was exciting. These metals had made me see a whole new world of possibilities, and I would be lying if they didn't give me a boner.

Waiting for my excitement to calm down a little before I pulled the trigger, the ground splintered in front of the muzzle as the rocks shattered. The round flew like a raging monster slamming into the shield as cracks spread out fifty feet as the battle between the shield and the round raged until the sound of glass shattered and the shield broke.

But the round didn't fare too well; it lost almost all its power as it hit the metal and didn't even leave a dent. I quickly pulled the trigger again as another shield shot out from the target. The same thing happened again, making me think for a moment and nod.

I bet with this, the drones should be able to handle Epic rank monsters and demons as long as they don't have Epic rank weapons on them. I need to see if they can swing a sword with the same amount of force as an Electrum rare-rank .50 caliber round. I doubt someone could pack that much power in a punch, I mean, Azel didn't feel like he could.

But then again, he could have been holding back when he punched me, but I doubt it was that much compared to a .50 caliber round. I don't have enough data, I thought to myself as I got up and stored all my equipment and the targets, as I stopped on the enhanced Nightshade steel and smiled.

Running my fingers over it, this metal was terrific, and I couldn't wait to use it to build my Drone army. I will need to take time and lay out the blueprints for the ideas I have, but for now, the three drones I already know are enough to deal with my enemies. At least that's how I feel at this moment, until I run into something that makes me think otherwise.

Turning around as I looked at the stunned Míriel, it looked like she had never seen anything like that before. I smiled as I walked over to her and picked her up as she yelped, and I put her over my shoulder while placing a hand on her ass, squeezing it. "I am in an excellent mood, Míriel. I think I will gift you with a child." I said, slapping her ass as she moaned out.

She moaned and blushed as she felt me playing with her ass, and my words made her aroused as we walked into the mansion.
